I LOVE PIZZA J!!! My go-to pizza spot in PVD! The inside of the restaurant is so cool and I love all of the games and posters inside. Service is always amazing and they give the best recommendations when I can't decide. I'm here a few times a month and it never disappoints!

A great time. Kids loved the arcade games - can't beach the lunch special for pizza for two slices and a soda for $9!! Kids loved the pizza. My daughter tried the vegan chicken- she was ok about it. The chicken Sando- not pictured - was excellent!

Pizza J is the coolest spot with pin ball machines everywhere! The menu is great with tons of options too. I had a vegan pizza and one of my friends had a pizza with meat and cheese on it. It's great that there is something for everyone. My friend is from New York and will always pick this spot to go to for pizza.

I loveeeee pizza j! We get pizza every year here for pi day! My friends who have gluten allergies and soy/dairy allergies can get stuff from here which is a big win. The pizza is really good. The ambiance is fun too. It's not your average pizza place! It's got art, neon signs, pinball machines and more! The service is great too. I'm always happy here!

Fantastic pizza spot that has trivia nights, pinball machines, and just a really fun vibe. Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and all the ingredients, and helped us make any modifications we needed for our food allergies. They also have an entire vegan menu, and we were very appreciative about how accommodating and accessible they were. We split some garlic fries (with a sub of vegan aioli) and one pizza (love that they could do half and half). We got a half of the Strutter (sausage and peppers) and half of the Neurotic Sasquatch (BBQ chicken), and both were fantastic. Really happy with our dinner here, and would love to try more pizzas!

Always the best thing crust pizza here. We also love their fries. Fun atmosphere, lots to do with the kids and fun loving adults. Great beer selection. Service is always perfect, attentive and super friendly!

I swear everything the owner touches is awesome! Came here for Lord of the Wings and wow what a great SMOKED wing! Yes that's right! Juicy full of flavor, fresh! One of the only smoked wings I've had in the challenge and definitely one that would be hard to beat. But the pizza WOW! Huge pie, thin crispy no flop! I could have eaten the whole thing on my own embarrassingly enough. Full of toppings definitely a popular spot! The waiter was so kind and hospitable, if every restaurant had him there would never be a complaint on service. Love the quirks of the place! The pinball machines and arcade vibes but also the old school music and classics on the projector. Highly recommend checking out this spot

This place was a great find. Pinball machines, to the music, to bob ross on the tv (happy trees= happy me) The pizza half Rita and half Good Carma so good. The garlic fries out of this world and the garlic knots amazing. The service was awesome, Jona the bartender so helpful and knowledgeable. Gave us recommendations for more local favorites, that I plan to check out. The whole vibe was great, busy on Monday, what does that tell ya. I will be back to try more of the selections.

I absolutely love Pizza J! Solid, classic, and consistent NY style pizza with great crust. They accommodate half and half toppings at fair prices and they also have delicious smoky wings (I like the sweet Thai chili sauce on the side)! Cute spot to eat in with a hip and quirky vibe from the decor to the pinball machines and themed bathrooms... and friendly service! I usually call ahead for takeout but when I dine-in the cocktails are awesome. My favorite pizzas are The Strutter, The King Tidal, and the Roni. They also have a convenient parking lot with extra street parking as well.

Late night putting my toddler to bed. We ordered three pizza pies - I am do glad it's delicious and still good to go on eating

Great experience, walked in on a Sunday right after opening. Everyone greeted. Us and we decided to sit at the bar. Excellent menu of signature cocktails, prepared perfectly. Ordered a cheese pizza which is a great value, hand tossed fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. The fries are a must. Each of the 3 times I've visited the fries are served hot and crispy, with just the right amount of salt. Scan for you menu and pay using your phone is also an option. Plenty of pinball machines and slice pies available if you want to stop in and grab a slice of the road. Great drinks, food and service.

There's a lot going on in here... Including really good pizza.

In a city filled with red sauce Italian joints and decades old pizza traditions, Pizza J throws the rulebook out and builds something completely original. Under spinning disco balls and the watchful eyes of vintage movie monsters, while Bob Ross quietly paints his happy trees on the TV above the bar, they're turning out serious pies without a serious attitude. The sauce here has something to say - tangy, herbed, refusing to play backup singer to the cheese. That crust manages to walk that line between chewy and crisp, the kind of technique that tells you someone in that open kitchen knows exactly what they're doing. Get the cheese slice - it's a chance to taste everything in balance. The pepperoni's a showoff, all cup-and-char bravado, muscling all of the other flavors off the stage. This is pizza for people who don't need their restaurants to look like museums. The pinball machines ping, the jukebox blasts Zeppelin, and nobody's pretending we are in Naples. My kind of joint.

It was 11pm n Thursday and Friday nights so having to deal with unsupervised children (less than 6 years old) was a little unexpected LOL (some baby wandered up to us with no parent LOL)

Having…read morebeen around since 1960, this place had seen better days by the '80s when I was in high school, and apparently continued that downward trend for a while. But someone clearly invested wisely in bringing this Rhode Island institution into the modern era. The updates are impressive and practical. Everything runs smoothly - from the quick ball returns and pin setups to the modern scoring system. They've switched to hourly rates instead of per-string pricing, which makes a lot of sense with their efficient setup. Their Monday-Friday special ($20 for an hour of bowling plus shoe rental) is a great deal - and thanks to how quickly everything runs, you can easily fit three strings into that hour, as we discovered when we overbooked for two! The facility itself is super clean, including the bathrooms (always a telling sign). They've covered all the bases for refreshments with both a proper bar/food setup and vending machines. The counter staff is friendly, parking is plentiful, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled ball return machine. It's great to see a family entertainment spot that's both well-maintained and affordable. Lang's has managed to preserve its community bowling alley character while giving customers all the modern conveniences they expect. Perfect for family time or a fun afternoon with friends.
