The Brookston Pizza King is exceptional for having a great time with great food. The rustic aesthetic of the building with 19th/20th century architecture makes it very interesting. The bathroom is key very nice, and the arcade area brings retro vibes to the establishment. It is the best looking Pizza King I have ever been. The pizza was cooked very well. It has an Arnis flavor due to the increase in sauce, which I genuinely enjoyed. The breadstick were subpar, but still great for Pizza King. The Arcade area makes it a very fun family experience. The underlying issue is that some of the arcade machines are not functional. The Out of Order signs should be placed for convenience. Air Hockey is the highlight of the arcade for sure. The food was great, the aesthetic of the establishment was exquisite, the entertainment from the arcade is worthwhile, and the customer service is great! The only downsides are the non-functional arcade machines and the breadsticks. 4/5 stars! read more

After a day at Indiana Beach I had noted that this pizza king was on my way home to Indy. I love pizza king but you just never know what you will get with one of them. First this may be the coolest and nicest interior of a pizza king I have seen. I have been to probably 12 or more different ones over the years. They have many classic arcade machines and pinball tables to play. You do have to pay to play though no free games here. My only complaint is that some of the games didn't work so they would test these and put out of order signs on ones that don't work. I played a pinball table only to find the flippers didn't work. Ok on to the pizza that's why you would stop here. The breadsticks are not made in house I could tell they are food service already made. They weren't bad but these tend to be very dry and lacking in texture more like eating long cylinders of bread. We ordered one pizza with most of the regular toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, onions and green peepers. Also my daughter only eats cheese pizza so we got her her own. The pizza was really loaded with toppings, but oddly the crust was cooked but the onions, mushrooms and green peppers weren't. The mushrooms were from a can so they won't really cook as the water keeps them from getting hot. Also they use a stationary pizza oven vs a conveyer belt. This led to my daughters pizza being extremely overcooked on the bottom. I brought this to their attention and they made another one that was better. I probably won't return to this location. Quite honestly the one nearby in Battleground was better than this one. They do have some nice arcade games though and beer too. But I had to drive home. read more

Love the food here! Especially the Bosco sticks! Plus the staff is great and they have an arcade?! What more could you ask for?!

Since I reviewed last Pizza King has changed locations. 3 Stars for the following: Pros: The building is Awesome! The new location used to be a factory/warehouse and it has been converted to a "sports bar" feel. There are also games to play. My daughter and I enjoy the air hockey table. The pizza is good. While not my favorite pizza it's definitely nice to have it close. Better than the local Caseys. The service is pretty good. Everyone is friendly and I've never had an order be too much longer than expected. Cons: Most of the non-pizza foods are not so great. The subs are not awful but are disappointing compared to what they were one or two owners ago. The breadsticks are AWFUL! I know a small business has to make money but come on. We all know the places where there are free breadsticks and they blow these away. The breadsticks are tasteless sticks of dough --like harder tasteless marshmallows. If I'm going to pay for only three breadsticks they NEED to taste good. read more

UPDATE!! The Brookston Pizza King now has new owners. They are doing a great job modernizing the business, giving it a complete remodel that looks and feels clean and sharp. The two new LCD video screens above the order window now show-and-tell menu and prices. They've added new items to the menu you'll want to try. Another new addition is five types of beer on tap. The Brookston Pizza King features two sizes of pizza with choice of all the standard toppings, Texas BBQ, stromboli, submarines, and hot ham and cheese. Bread sticks and chips. New items include delicious salads and baked potato skins. Fountain & canned drinks. (Be sure to leave a tip in the tip jar.) Cool Frontier schools memorabilia & sports stuff. My son likes to go to this Pizza King because they have arcade and pinball games. Unfortunately, it is always hot inside the restaurant, the food is mediocre at best, and tonight they forgot to even make our pizza. Drive the 5 extra minutes to the Battle Ground Pizza King. They have never let me down! read more

Went for lunch on Saturday the 26th, maybe 4 or 6 people total in the place, placed our order for pizza,salads, and breadsticks. Salads came first, then the breadsticks, a huge group came in after us and received their food before we did, they forgot our order of two pizzas, the guy says we got behind, that's not true, not busy at all. Salad was all cheese and not much else. Pretty sure they forgot to cook our pizza. Sat for almost an hour when I finally asked and they said they just got behind and hadn't even made it yet. A couple that came in awhile after us got their food before we did. Very poor service. Kids enjoyed the games though. read more

Gastrointestinal distress is about what spelled out our experience here. Staff was friendly and polite. It was interesting being in a pizza place with no jars of parmesan at the table but had individual packets instead? The order came out with our appetizers well after the main dishes. The wings were spicy however they were somewhere between warm and tepid. They were far from crispy as they should have been. The cheddar cheese fries, with bacon had more mozerella than cheddar and the bacon was questionable at best. Cheese pizza seems to be the safest thing and only thing to order here. read more

Extremely rude service. After walking into the restaurant, this brunette lady popped her head out from one of the booths. She said nothing to us just stood up and walked over to the counter. As we asked if she had a preference to we're we should sit, she just pointed and said what do you want. I wasn't about to have this lady treat me like that so we left right away. I can't understand a place that has construction on the road it's on would treat a customer like that. I highly recommend passing on this Pizza King. Don't let poor service get your business. I can understand when someone is having a bad day or is busy and may act a little irritated. But the place was empty and this lady had the audacity to treat us like she didn't want to even deal with us. That is nonsense. read more

Very cool building. Lots of old video games for kids to play. Pizza was thin, but not too bad. Did not like the mini pepperoni pieces. Salad was different with just lettuce and cheese, but dressing was good. read more

Great place to eat in Brookston. Friendly employees and great atmosphere. Food is great but be aware if u order on Sunday there may be a wait because everyone comes for our great Sunday special of a large 3 topping pizza for only $10. What a great deal!
