Pros - Service- There was one guy making the food and taking orders and he was KILLING it! Smile on his face, working hard, and just doing an amazing job - Food- Our table ordered two calzones, a panini, two pizzas, breadsticks, and the Pickles app. All food was served hot and was yummy! Lots of topping and "filling" for pizza. - Pricing- The prices have gone up (from the prices listed on Yelp, but still aren't bad for what you get. - Atmosphere- Very cozy and comforting. Found this little place through Yelp based upon the reviews. Would not classify it as a trendy spot by any means, but if you're looking for some gooood food and a place that has a million different options, this is your place. The menu is so big it took me a while to even figure out what i want. So many things and cuisines to choose from. So many different vegetarian options as well - so that's always a plus! You order at the front counter, then in a matter of what seems like seconds, your food is delivered. Great spot for lunch if anyone is in a hurry. The level of attention and freshness each of my items had was incredible. I definitely did not expect that coming from this place. Everything is reasonably priced as well. Definitely worth coming back to time and time again! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a little "hole in the wall" restaurant. read more

The place is a dive but the food and the staff was awesome. We ordered the Philly cheese steak and the garlic breadsticks. Shockingly how much food they give you at a reasonable price. Downside, the place is a dump so needs some maintenance, several of the soda dispensers had out of order signs, the bathroom was a mess, booths were dirty. Also, no beer or alcohol!!! read more

So the one thing that bums me out, is that they could close at any time based on business, staff, etc. I understand, but I don't like it. Plain and simple. I experienced them being closed when they were supposed to be open. The boneless wings were really tough. I couldn't even finish them. I think they were a little burnt too. I will start by saying I need stretchy pants. This pizza was so good...garlic on a pizza?! What what?! I couldn't stop. I ate too much. We were moving my son into his apartment, and this was the closest pizza place. They don't deliver, but carry out was ready in 15 minutes. The chicken barbecue ranch pizza had garlic and onions. It was sweet, tangy, crunchy yet soft toppings- it was a flavor explosion for my mouth. We got a large, and it was around the $20 mark which is fair for a high quality pizza. Very small quaint place. You seat yourself. First time here they need some direction as to how Resturant's works. We grabbed menu from counter then sat at a booth. Several different types of seating tables. Our booth was very clean but was very sticky from polish or something. There were a couple of tables with other patrons eating. All friendly it was the first time for the other patrons as well. We asked what they had. They had chosen a Hawaiian pizza and said it was excellent. It looked very good. The owner cook explained that we were to place order then Sit down. May be confusing to customers who have never ate there before. We shared a small supreme Pizza. It was hot crispy and delicious. So great! Easy 10/10 dive for all ages, casual atmosphere, huge menu, fantastic service, plenty to pick from, well made popular fare, and Triple XXX root beer on tap! My buddy and dropped in late for pizza and the panini deal. The cheese bread ended up in our order too somehow - a bit average compared to Mad Mushroom but hard to compete with the cheese stix king! My Gyro panini was perfect! So tasty, rich and fresh combo of traditional ingredients, zesty and savory for all the right taste buds. Pizza went down well too though could do with a thick crust option for the thick appetites. This place is such a gem. Have been going here for years and I love everything I have tried. The shrimp is to die for.

Doesn't look like much from the road but this is a great little place with a ton of options including Calzones, Wraps, Salads, and Panini's. This is a pizza joint with some great pizzas and numerous topping ingredients and about 15 flavors of wings to choose. Maybe a dozen tables to dine in or would be a great take out option too. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely return and try something different. My calzone, "the meathead" was very good. read more

The Pickle, formerly known as Niko's Spicy Pickle, is really good. I don't know what happened to Niko. Best wishes, my friend. The new owners and staff are delivering a great product. They have an unusually light and airy pizza and breadstick dough. It's really tasty, brushed with butter and some Parmesan cheese. The different dough differentiates The Pickle in an otherwise crowded pizza market. It's thin crust pizza, but not very crispy. Again, the airy dough makes it special. You don't feel like a mouthful of bread, but yet you get that tingly carb-o-licious feeling. We visited on a Monday evening. Specials listed on the left as you enter. Order at the front. Find a seat and the food is delivered fast! We were the only folks there at the time, so our order went directly in the oven. Fast and friendly service by the only guy working there. The only down side I can find, Pickle does not offer Parmesan cheese at the table. At least not what I could see. Crushed red pepper shakers available by the drink machine. I will return for pizza and breadsticks, and maybe try a sandwich or calzone. It all looks good! Our antipasto salad was fresh, could have used more meat but overall it was good. Some desserts and side items available too. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place, the local feel, the great service, and most of all, the airy and tasty dough. I do wish they offered more than one size for thin crust though, bummer, but we made the medium size work by offsetting our ferocious appetites with an appetizer. We got the garlic breadsticks. Normally I wouldn't weight an appetizer so heavily on a review, but after careful deliberation, I feel it is the right call. The garlic breadsticks were greasy. Wayyy too greasy. I don't live around here, if I did this would be my go-to. Wraps, Pizzas, Calzones, Wings, Mexican Options, and a few more, I've been to this place twice and it has a bunch of different things that are all pretty good. I love it when a place has good food at reasonable prices. All calzones, sandwiches and such were 6-8 bucks and pizza below $15. As dine-in, food was extremely quick (it was very slow at 2pm, however I imagine all the food doesn't take too long) and quite tasty. The lady who greeted us did an excellent job at explaining everything in a concise manner. Definitely will be making our way back here. The only real con: it's 95 degrees out, this place was about 80. Blazing hot in there lol. read more

Owner is horrible. Needs serious customer service skills He gave me the four salads I ordered in a bag that was too small. The top two salads were hanging over the top edge and I should have asked for a second bag. I got to my car and of course the top heavy bag tipped over. They did not seal the containers of salad and they went all over my back seat! I went back in asking for help or tools to clean my car as there is now literally giblets of salad all over my seat. The owner was so rude, non caring and not helpful. I asked if he had anything to help clean it up as I was out of town and not able to get to my home and clean it up. He told me no and it's my fault. Really? Then as I drove away with a salad bar now in my backseat, I started doing the math. He overcharged me $20 for my order. I called and no surprise he said no and fought me even when I explained the math off of menu prices. He wanted me to come back in and unfortunately no I was working and couldn't. This is my second visit and I'm a fan! The Pickle doesn't look like much on the outside (former life was a laundromat). The parking lot is small but there is street parking nearby. Inside is small but It handles the lunch rush. Outside seating is available. The menu is deep. Subs, wraps, panini, calzone, pizza, salads, breadsticks, select Mexican, and more I'm probably forgetting. The wraps are stuffed with fresh ingredients with the dressing in the side. Although I've only ever seen two people working a lunch hour, the food comes out fast. It's tucked away in a residential area just north of downtown on a one way street so it may be hard to find and get to but it's totally worth It especially for lunch. It's my new favorite place. UPDATE 3/6/18 The meaty calzone I ordered today was cold in the middle. I'll return but can't recommend the calzones. read more

First time here and were not disappointed at all. We had an order oof the bacon sticks. Cheese and bacon on pizza crust with a side of cheese and pizza sauce. Very good and loved the pizza crust. I had the gonzo chicken panini, without jalapeños. Chunks of chicken and. Ton of melted cheese with a side of a Southwest sauce. The dough on this sandwich was again amazing. My hubby got the Niko panini (sorry pic is bad). Ham, bacon, lettuce and tomato with a side of honey lime sauce. I liked the sauce but he didn't.
