Service was great went in just for Drinks and to watch the Dodgers game. It was during the week so it was very nice and calm very friendly people. Usually it will be packed on a Friday night. I've gone before for their pan pizza and it's delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Definitely a vibe when there's more people around.

Kiddos standing in front of their los Dias de la muertes display

We meant to stop into the draft bar and grill next door but after a very unwelcome greeting with 4 kiddos (and 4 adults) we decided to move next door to this little gem. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. The staff were very accommodating and sweet. They were patient and kind to our kiddos. They have a wonderful kiddy meal that made them feel special, which included toy cars, a pizza box for coloring etc. One of the servers noticed our kiddos wearing dias de la muertes face paint and she was excited to show us a display they had set up for them to take pictures in front of. (Pictured below). The place was clean, had video game options for the kids and lots of TVs. The food was delicious (wings nachos and pizza! This little gem in a small town is worth checking out!!!

GETTING HERE: Pizza Man Dan's is located in the old Garman's Pub on Main Street in Santa Paula. RIP to Garman's. An icon. :( REVIEW: Not too bad! Santa Paula is moving up in the world. For what it's worth, I've only been to 1 other PMD prior to this visit. But that is no matter as it's now added to my fave go-to's. I placed a pick-up order via phone (which was pretty seamless...think Toppers ordering) and unfortunately, I arrived late to pick up my food. Service was great; the young man who rang up my order was sincere and friendly. Sadly, I did experience a hiccup as I had called back to add on a pizza cookie to the rest of my order. It was on my receipt (which I didn't notice) but the young man didn't have the cookie with the rest of my food. I asked him about it, but he was as confused as I was. People were lining up behind me (and scowling at me) and I did the absolute thing I ^never do...I let it go. The young man was pretty sure (as was I) that it was a small hiccup on the ordering side and it didn't process to the location. We both (wrongly) assumed that all was well. Eeek. I did get charged. I didn't receive my pizza cookie. I called the next day (after 24 hours) and was informed that my order is no longer visible to them after 24 hours. Food for thought for next time. :) But, yes. I do definitely recommend!

Enthusiastic welcome as I entered. It was very hot inside. I asked the waitress/hostess if the AC was working? She said she thought they forgot to turn it on & the box was locked and she didn't have the key. Tried to eat & get out quickly, as it seemed to get hotter inside. The pizza was pretty good. And the potato wedges were fresh & very crispy. The salad bar was good, with the exception of the imitation bacon bits. Yuck. And the lowest quality croutons made. The soda machine had little flies swarming around it. Based on this particular visit with the AC not working, I probably wouldn't dine in again- but would order pizza for delivery.

Pizza is always good, and Sasha is the best bartended always has a great attitude and makes the best drinks

Chicken pizza (idk the name) and a very crispy and burnt gf margarita pizza

I decided to give this place another chance after my burnt pizza incident and this time pizza man dan didn't let me down. I got a veggie pizza on gf crust individual size as I wasn't that hungry and it came out crispy but not burnt. It also came with mushrooms but I asked without them, the veggies on this pizza were really good and wasn't over saturated with sauce which I liked. My friends got some cheese pizzas and a buffalo chicken pizza. We came in around 2:30 and it wasn't that busy inside, pizza came out hot, fresh and quickly. They also have a full bar as well as a soda fountain and a salad bar with many options on the menu to choose from besides pizza. Plenty of seating with it being tables and booths and it's roomy inside.

They added Menudo and Cafe de Olla to the Mexican Menu. Every Saturday and Sunday, Pizza Man Dan's in Santa Paula will sell house-made Menudo and Chilaquiles. On top of that, they're also gonna be selling hot brew Cafe de Olla at the bar.

If you know anything about Gunsmoke BBQ and Beer in Santa Paula, you know their barbecue already…read morehas a solid reputation....but finally making it into their restaurant just confirmed everything I'd been hearing. I've had the chance to try their BBQ at local events around Ventura County, and it always left an impression. They make some darn good BBQ. BUT for this visit we ended up highlighting something just as exciting...their vegetarian options! It definitely says a lot when a barbecue place has great non meat options. I came with my friend Raquel (yelp elite) for lunch and we went all in on their vegetarian plates...well with one exception, we ordered the deviled eggs too. Let's start there: Their famous Candied Bacon Deviled Eggs are a must. Creamy, flavorful filling, lightly battered egg, topped with crispy bacon...yeah, they're as good as they sound. 10/10. Now for the vegetarian standouts: The Fried Avocado Bites were simple but done so right. Perfectly fried and paired with house made sauces that really brought everything together. Super shareable and perfect as a starter. 10/10. The Cauliflower Tacos were a reminder that you absolutely do NOT need meat for a great taco. These were hearty and loaded with (again) incredible sauces. My friend was obsessed and I get why. They were good, but I would prefer a meat protein taco at a spot like this. 7/10 for me. Beyond the food, the experience really shines here. The space has this perfect mix of country charm and rock n roll edge which is such a fun vibe. Service was top notch, and we love when owners are present and genuinely care. They stopped by to check in, which always makes a place feel extra special. And shoutout to our server Bentley, an absolute sweetheart. Next time you're in Santa Paula, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Gunsmoke is located in Downtown Santa Paula. I didn't pay close attention but I don't believe they have private parking. If you don't know SP, there is street parking and some parking lots. I would be mindful when you are planning to come for parking. I came with a friend midday so there was plenty of parking and seats as well so we got seated right away. I was happy to see the non meat options they have available. I was a bit bummed out they didn't have their hummus but it's just another excuse for me to go back. I did end up getting their cauliflower tacos. My friend got their avocado fries and their devil eggs. I had never had devil eggs, and tried those and were so good. I wanted more but I had already had all my tacos. I did appreciate the owner coming to greet us and finding out I was pescatarian. He was nice, mentioned that even though they are a BBQ spot, they still want to value those customers that don't eat, and asked if there's anything I think of to let him know to see if they can add it to the menu. Really appreciated that. Overall, bummed out I wasn't able to try their BBQ. The options I did try were all really good. I would come back.

Located on the first floor of the Inn, you can't miss the entrance once it's dinner time. We went in with no expectations, but were completely blown away with everything Enzo's had to offer! Perfect for a nice dinner date night, I especially liked our booth seat had full wall separation between us and other tables that it didn't feel crowded despite the restaurant actually being relatively packed. Per our waiter's rec (I wish we got his name), we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and substituted the spaghetti for their Fettuccine Alfredo & the Lemon Broccolini appetizer. They also give complementary warm focaccia bread with oil & balsamic. 11/10. That broccolini had the perfect airy crunch with just the right amount of lemon. For the Alfredo, you just have to try it. the portions are generous, we walked out with leftovers of both still and we shared both plates. If we're ever back in the area, it'll be to have this exact same meal, it was just that dang good!

Server said he thought it was easier to start the corkscrew in the kitchen. Focaccia bread was ok. Olive oil dip was ok. Appetizers: calamari... most were burnt. Needed a redo. Server could plainly see they were burnt but delivered them anyway. Then lied and said some people prefer them well done. Not. Burnt! Pasta: overcooked to mush. Asked for redo, but they had run out of pesto sauce. It took almost 10 minutes to learn that they couldn't redo the dish because no pesto. Lasagna: top was burnt. Server could see it, but delivered anyway. Caprese salad: 3 thin slices of tomatoes with 3 good slices of mozzarella and 3 tiny (almost invisible) basil leaves, with balsamic glaze and 3 thin slices toasted French bread. $14 Dessert: tiramisu and cannoli made on site: excellent! Ordered an espresso martini. 5 mins later, server came back to say they didn't have espresso. Asked if the could make a chocolate martini: they said yes. Poured vodka, heavy cream, chocolate syrup into a martini glass. It was alcohol but not a chocotini. Do NOT recommend. $350 dinner. They comped dessert (that was nice) but overall, no confidence.

Sometimes, if you time it correctly, one of the employees will even give you a few more sauces. AGAIN, ask for the Garlic Butter sauce! The service has been nothing short of friendly and courteous.
