Our first time here. The service and dinner was excellent. We will be returning for sure.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in a quaint and charming little town. The ambience is AMAZING(!!) and the service is kind and attentive. The food: super, super good. We have been here many times and it never disappoints! We love coming in to relax and say Hey to the bartender, James.

We having been going to Enzo's for more than 10 years. The atmosphere is everything you want in a restaurant: dark, quiet, nice music, comfortable booths, good service and good food. My husband and I went for dinner a few weeks ago. It was a Saturday night and we didn't have a reservation, but arrived early enough to get a table without waiting. This evening they had a magician performing table side and the usual 1940s music playing. Enzo's restaurant is in the historical Glen Tavern Inn, a moody, and haunted hotel from the 20's that is the gem of Santa Paula. This evening I had the chicken piccata which came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. My husband had the chicken Marsala which also came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The chicken piccata was tender though fairly ordinary tasting. The chicken Marsala was also tender, but had a slightly sweet taste due to the Marsala wine. They served us fresh focaccia with a balsamic olive oil dip to start. I think next time I'll try something else, as my dish was good but a little boring. Service was a little off. We started with one waiter and then he handed us over to another waiter. Drinks were slow to arrive. I asked for salt and pepper, which the waiter brought me, but returned shortly thereafter to remove as he said they only had one set and the bartender was strict about it being returned which I thought was a little odd. Both waiters we had were friendly and eager to give us a good experience. We will absolutely return to Enzo's as the atmosphere is the absolutely the best.

Enzo's inside the historic Glen Tavern Inn delivers that cozy, old world Italian charm with a touch of vintage Santa Paula character. The moment you step in, the warm wood, dim lighting, and century old hotel ambiance set the stage for a meal that feels both intimate and timeless. Their pastas come out rich and comforting, the sauces taste slow crafted, and the entrées hit that balance of hearty and elegant. Service is welcoming, portions are solid, and the whole experience feels like a hidden gem tucked inside a landmark.

Phenomenal food at a phenomenal hotel, SoCal must-visit spot. It's very rare you get to dine at a place that's a living piece of history, and even more rare for the food to be as delicious as it is. Filet, veal piccata, pear salad are great, house pizza is great too. Can't wait to get back out there!

This is my favorite get-away from LA restaurant! My friend and I go as often as we can. Today we tried their new bruschetta and it's so good! The service there is always great. They really know how to take care of you! And the ambiance is perfection. Old Hollywood glam meets Magic Castle meets gothic night. Love it!

    Chicken piccata/mashed potatoes/burn broccoli

Went there to take a family member first time going for my family member me and my daughter's been there several times.. this time everything was different basically I was being rushed. I was the first one to arrive.. we got. Crostino al prosciutto and 3 chicken piccata. basically the chicken piccata was horrible. The broccoli was burned all over , the chicken piccata was not the same. It seemed like chef- pour a whole bottle of lemon on it with salt salty it just didn't taste the same. I've been there several times and this time it was gross plus the waitress kept on asking me for the bill. I didn't finish drinking my margarita...we were just there only for 30 minutes !!!!!! It was empty place... honestly I don't mind paying but -money does not grow in trees. We didn't have a good experience it was. Horrible experience.

Last Friday we came with our Italian aunt Georgie. What an amazing evening. Thank you to Manny, Tyler and to the magician Doug for giving us such a memorable evening. The food was DELICIOUS! i ordered the sirloin and we had all the appetizers, marsala, diavola pizza, and cannoli's. Thank you all, it really has become a fav spit for us!

We had the most amazing dinner at Enzo's this evening! I love the elegant ambiance of the restaurant, as well as the service. The staff is always very accommodating and kind. If you're lucky you may also be serenaded by a piano player or dazzled by some table-side magic! We tried the new Bruschetta special this evening. Wow. Great balance of flavors, and the added drizzle of balsamic vinegar was (chefs kiss). The Chicken Marsala is definitely a go to dish for me, especially here. The chicken was tender and the marsala sauce, divine! With the delicious vegetable medley and silky mashed potatoes, you will for sure leave happy! If you are a pizza fan, they also have a new handmade pizza dough that is fantastic. Crispy and flavorful with the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. If you're ever in the area, you must try Enzo's! Have a bottle (or two!) of wine because you can also book a room!

Was the amount of shrimp worth it? Nope, so I would suggest to substitute the sausage with shrimp instead since apparently that does not cost extra. The sauce was super creamy and I enjoyed it. The pasta was fresh and well do The bread was normal bread you can buy at the market so that was a bit disappointing. I am excited to try the Spezzatimo next time though. Edit: came back for the Spezzatimo and it was delicious! Especially during the rainy weather. I accidentally spilled my olive oil for my bread but the waitress was kind and understand and moved me to another table. You can also ask for extra bread. The Spezzatimo was like a perfectly balanced meaty and tomato-y stew with delicious chunks of potato! I think if they actually added pasta to it, i would be the absolute perfect meal! The service was really nice when it isn't packed but when it is packed, it's a bit rough. Can't blame them too much for this though in this rough economy.

We arrived a little after 7pm on a Thursday and were lucky to find a perfect parking spot right across the street from the restaurant as people were leaving the beach. It's a very causal setting with not much of any ambiance, but they did have table cloths and fake candles. Staff were friendly. We had a pretty big lunch and weren't too hungry. We skipped appetizers and ordered entrees only. To our surprise, they ran out of chicken. We had some complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar while waiting for our food, which took about 20 minutes. I had the Sogliola al Limone. The sole filet was lightly breaded and it was delicious with the lemon caper sauce. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, on the firmer side; potatoes were not bad. I tried a bit of our daughter's Bucatini all'Amatriciana as well. It was garlicky and quite tasty. My husband enjoyed his Spezzatino as well. Overall, a pretty solid and satisfying Italian meal.

And the view of the pizza oven! The little burnt marks & bubbling crust reminds me of pizza in Italy and France. Sorry Italy -- but France make the best pizza! They make the best everything when it comes to food. But I regress... haha Settebello's is the closest I can get to the Italy & France pizzas! NY is different and of course the best in the US -- but for west coast pizza, Settebellos is my FAV!!! Wish there was one in Westlake Village!! Anyway -- I let all my friend know how good the pizza and the beet salad are. And the Sun-Friday (3-6pm) happy hour -- is worth the drive!!! BTW - if you see a 1-star review from people in Ojai (and there are a few) I believe those reviews are written by a "troll or trolls" trying to bring down Settebello's ratings. So don't fall for those reviews. They should probably be flagged. Thank you Settebello for keeping a smile on my face when I'm jonesing for GREAT pizza and a nice casual dining experience!! Not only did it take a long time for anyone to even take our order, but they also forgot our waters. It took about 20 minutes before we received anything. We ordered drinks and two appetizers. One appetizer arrived after about 20 minutes, but our drinks didn't arrive until approximately 25 minutes after we ordered. While we waited, we observed several waiters standing around talking instead of helping customers. We also watched two other tables ask multiple times for their checks before finally receiving them. The staff didn't appear busy or overwhelmed, which made the delays even more frustrating. To make matters worse, several tables that were seated after us received their food before we did. After waiting a total of 40 minutes without receiving our second appetizer or even being offered drink refills, we had enough. We asked the busser for our check and requested to cancel the remaining appetizer because we were extremely frustrated at that point. Instead of a manager or supervisor coming to speak with us, the busser returned to tell us that we couldn't cancel the appetizer because it had already been prepared. We paid, took the meatballs to go, and left disappointed. Only then did our server come over and say, "Sorry, we got stacked up." No manager or person in charge ever came to apologize or address the situation. The person who appeared to be the manager simply dropped off our boxed food and walked away without saying a word. This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I've dined here multiple times before and have always enjoyed both the food and the service, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, I will no longer support this business and will make sure to warn my family, friends, and colleagues to save their money and support businesses that value their customers and hire competent, attentive staff.

If you're a fan of zucchini blossoms, you'll absolutely love their FIORI DI ZUCCA RIPIENI. It's a delightful dish that's sure to impress. One of my favorite salads is their INSALATA DELLA CASA, which is a refreshing and healthy option. Adding grilled shrimp takes it to the next level. Now, let's talk about their main courses. Their seafood and pasta dishes are all mouthwatering, but here are our favorites: 1) CACIO E PEPE: This dish is incredibly delicious and goes to another level when you add their grilled shrimp and truffle. 2) BRANZINO: Their seafood is cooked perfectly every time, and they often have HALIBUT as a special dish, which we love as a great alternative. 3) BOLOGNESE: Our son absolutely devours this dish, and it's a great option for kids. 4) STROZZAPRETI: This pasta dish is another great choice, filled with a lot of flavor. 5) LASAGNA: It used to be our number one dish until we started exploring their menu. 6) BRASATO DI MANZI: This is an ultra-delicious bone-in slow-braised beef short rib dish that's out of this world!
