My bf and I were in Santa Paula for the weekend, stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn for one night, and spontaneously grabbed dinner at Enzo's! Located on the first floor of the Inn, you can't miss the entrance once it's dinner time. We went in with no expectations, but were completely blown away with everything Enzo's had to offer! Perfect for a nice dinner date night, I especially liked our booth seat had full wall separation between us and other tables that it didn't feel crowded despite the restaurant actually being relatively packed. Per our waiter's rec (I wish we got his name), we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and substituted the spaghetti for their Fettuccine Alfredo & the Lemon Broccolini appetizer. They also give complementary warm focaccia bread with oil & balsamic. 11/10. That broccolini had the perfect airy crunch with just the right amount of lemon. For the Alfredo, you just have to try it. the portions are generous, we walked out with leftovers of both still and we shared both plates. If we're ever back in the area, it'll be to have this exact same meal, it was just that dang good! read more

Server said he thought it was easier to start the corkscrew in the kitchen. Focaccia bread was ok. Olive oil dip was ok. Appetizers: calamari... most were burnt. Needed a redo. Server could plainly see they were burnt but delivered them anyway. Then lied and said some people prefer them well done. Not. Burnt! Pasta: overcooked to mush. Asked for redo, but they had run out of pesto sauce. It took almost 10 minutes to learn that they couldn't redo the dish because no pesto. Lasagna: top was burnt. Server could see it, but delivered anyway. Caprese salad: 3 thin slices of tomatoes with 3 good slices of mozzarella and 3 tiny (almost invisible) basil leaves, with balsamic glaze and 3 thin slices toasted French bread. $14 Dessert: tiramisu and cannoli made on site: excellent! Ordered an espresso martini. 5 mins later, server came back to say they didn't have espresso. Asked if the could make a chocolate martini: they said yes. Poured vodka, heavy cream, chocolate syrup into a martini glass. It was alcohol but not a chocotini. Do NOT recommend. $350 dinner. They comped dessert (that was nice) but overall, no confidence. read more

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing of an experience it is to dine at Enzo's within the Glen Tavern Inn! You step into the lobby, and you are transported back in time, where the decor is just superb. The restaurant's ambiance was beautiful and calm. Perfect for a nice dinner date! They also have table side magicians that come to your table to perform some magic tricks for you that's sure to have your mind blown! Such a great time! Now, let's get into the food! I had the chicken piccata, and it was DIVINE! The flavors were immaculate, and it kept my mouth watering the entire meal. This restaurant sure knows how to push out amazing food that is sure to leave you satisfied! I also loved the staff! They were so helpful and welcoming. Truly a great experience all together! We having been going to Enzo's for more than 10 years. The atmosphere is everything you want in a restaurant: dark, quiet, nice music, comfortable booths, good service and good food. My husband and I went for dinner a few weeks ago. It was a Saturday night and we didn't have a reservation, but arrived early enough to get a table without waiting. This evening they had a magician performing table side and the usual 1940s music playing. Enzo's restaurant is in the historical Glen Tavern Inn, a moody, and haunted hotel from the 20's that is the gem of Santa Paula. This evening I had the chicken piccata which came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. My husband had the chicken Marsala which also came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The chicken piccata was tender though fairly ordinary tasting. The chicken Marsala was also tender, but had a slightly sweet taste due to the Marsala wine. They served us fresh focaccia with a balsamic olive oil dip to start. I think next time I'll try something else, as my dish was good but a little boring. Service was a little off. We started with one waiter and then he handed us over to another waiter. Drinks were slow to arrive. I asked for salt and pepper, which the waiter brought me, but returned shortly thereafter to remove as he said they only had one set and the bartender was strict about it being returned which I thought was a little odd. Went there to take a family member first time going for my family member me and my daughter's been there several times.. this time everything was different basically I was being rushed. I was the first one to arrive.. we got. Crostino al prosciutto and 3 chicken piccata. basically the chicken piccata was horrible. The broccoli was burned all over , the chicken piccata was not the same. It seemed like chef- pour a whole bottle of lemon on it with salt salty it just didn't taste the same. I've been there several times and this time it was gross plus the waitress kept on asking me for the bill. I didn't finish drinking my margarita...we were just there only for 30 minutes !!!!!! Celebrated my birthday early last night at Enzos with 5 friends. Outstanding time in a corner booth. Everyone working there was so attentive, especially Manny, our server. Appetizer ricotta cheese balls were quite tasty, focaccia hot and delicious with an olive oil-balsamic dipping sauce, my Caesar salad was the best I've had in Ventura County....and everyone at the table seemed quite happy with what they ordered! I drove from Santa Clarita to try this place out and it did not disappoint! First off, I heard about the Glen Tavern Inn in Ghost Adventures and after diving deep into it, I saw the have a restaurant so what better way to spend a Sunday than by trying something new and checking out a very unique and cool place. Enzo's is quite tasty. The food was amazing. I had the chicken piccata oh man, it was absolutely incredible. My wife had the spaghetti Pomodoro and my three-year-old son had a cheese pizza. We had the most amazing dinner at Enzo's this evening! I love the elegant ambiance of the restaurant, as well as the service. The staff is always very accommodating and kind. If you're lucky you may also be serenaded by a piano player or dazzled by some table-side magic! We tried the new Bruschetta special this evening. Wow. Great balance of flavors, and the added drizzle of balsamic vinegar was (chefs kiss). The Chicken Marsala is definitely a go to dish for me, especially here. The chicken was tender and the marsala sauce, divine! With the delicious vegetable medley and silky mashed potatoes, you will for sure leave happy! If you are a pizza fan, they also have a new handmade pizza dough that is fantastic. Crispy and flavorful with the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. If you're ever in the area, you must try Enzo's! I finally ate here after wanting to for so long and was disappointed. I took some friends and they had no lasagna. My chicken Parmesan was dry and overcooked. The sauce was a little bit tart. My friends, meatball, and spaghetti was not the greatest, but the pizza wasn't bad, but I had the tiramisu and was disappointed again. Date of visit: July 2025 "The only thing Italian about this meal was the name of the restaurant!" My fiancé and I, along with another couple, recently visited Enzo's inside the Glen Tavern Inn and it was hands down one of the worst dining experiences any of us have had in a long time. For context, our friends had been here before (though not recently) and used to love the lasagna. Sadly, that was nowhere to be found, literally and figuratively. Ambience? Absolutely lovely. Tall red velvet booths, a grand piano, that swanky Rat Pack vibe you'd think you were in for a great night. But the food and experience quickly derailed that. After reviewing the menu, we noticed the lasagna was missing. When we asked the waiter about the missing lasagna (a dish our friends were excited about), he said, "The chef isn't comfortable with it yet, but it will be coming back." That should've been our sign to run. We started with drinks and an appetizer: a mozzarella prosciutto bruschetta. It sounded delicious, but it was just a greasy, salty mess. The bread had clearly been drenched in butter before adding cheese and prosciutto, making it an oil slick instead of a starter. Now the entrees, where do I begin? * Chicken Piccata with mashed potatoes and broccolini * Shrimp Scampi with mashed potatoes and a veggie medley * Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken * Pepperoni pizza We were only the second or third table seated that evening, so no excuse for what followed. The plates were brought out using mitts because they were "piping hot"... yet somehow, the food itself was barely warm. Go figure. The broccolini was deep-fried, appearing as though it had been fully immersed in a vat of oil like making french fries. Who fries broccolini! It literally fell apart when touched with a fork and visibly greasy. The shrimp scampi? Dry. Absolutely nothing "scampi" about it. The mashed potatoes had an odd, unidentifiable flavor, not good, and were lumpy in the wrong way. The fettuccine was bland. The pizza was decent... but you don't go to a supposedly elevated Italian restaurant just for pizza. The waiter came to check on us and asked how our meals were. My fiancé prefaced his response by saying..."I'm not asking for anything free, just sharing my experience as constructive criticism." He politely shared that the broccolini was greasy and fell apart at the slightest touch. The waiter offered to bring a fresh serving, but that completely missed the point. The plates went nearly untouched (except the pizza), and when the waiter asked if we wanted boxes, three of us said "no thanks"--a pretty clear sign we didn't enjoy the food. We waited for the check, paid, and left feeling completely ripped off--especially considering how bad the food was. And did I mention how overpriced this place is? For the quality we got, it was downright outrageous. Our friends felt terrible for recommending the place, but of course, it wasn't their fault. How could they have known it would go so far downhill? Bottom line: This was a complete waste of time and money. Beautiful ambiance in a historic hotel built in 1911, but unfortunately, all charm ends at the kitchen door. We will never return. read more

From the minute, you step inside this restaurant, you feel as if you are transported to another era. "The Rat Pack" vibe is inviting, making you forget the troubles of the day. The cocktails are delicious and the food is even better. The Italian menu offers large portions with spectacular flavors just like mama used to make in the old country. The "haunted mansion" decor was as we last found it, but the service had definitely returned to top notch! The menu items were varied, and all the items we ordered were well prepared and presented. Delicious as well! The prices seemed a bit on the high side. My wife's caprese salad was $19, my lamb was $49... The cocktails before dinner were well crafted and tasted great. I went to the hotel with a buddy late in the day, drawn in by its rich history. Let me tell you, all the stories you've heard are absolutely true! I was bummed they were sold out, as I was hoping to stay in room 307. ​What truly wowed us, though, was discovering they have a restaurant right there in the hotel. We came back the next day after learning they serve everyone--not just hotel guests. I brought my fiancée and her parents, and the dining experience was incredible. You can definitely feel a presence in the dining room, which was awesome! The food was even more impressive. I ordered the lasagna, and it was a surprisingly large but light portion, which I loved because I hate feeling bloated. My fiancée's chicken piccata was so tender she didn't even need a knife; her fork cut right through it. Her parents were equally impressed. My mother-in-law said the chicken Marsala was out of this world, and my father-in-law's ribeye was "soft like butter." ​The food and service were both amazing. Our server, Tyler, was fantastic and shared some great ghost stories with us. To top it all off, we found out they host weddings! My fiancée is already looking into booking them for early June. So, I am staying at Glen Tavern while my house is being fumigated! Went to dinner at 6:00pm, immediately sat down at a table! From that point on it went down! Waiter came with water! After that saw NO ONE! We waited... and waited! I believe there were 4 waiters on the floor. Not one of them came to our table. They went to all other tables; not ours! So I told my best friend "if a waiter does not come to our table in the next 2 minutes, I am leaving m." She replied "going to the bathroom." Well, no waiter came, I went to the poor young hostess & took my anger out on her! She said "here is your waiter", I turned around and said "you're too late!"... And as I left the restaurant, I said very out loud "I guess I am not white enough."! Never going there again! read more

I've always enjoyed this place before for the tasty food, historical decor, and good service -- at least until this last time. Took my son's family, and they enjoyed the food, but maybe having a largish group complicated things for the kitchen. There was a lengthy delay before most of our dinners arrived, and one of our entrees didn't come until the rest of us were almost finished. If you are looking for some delicious Italian food, Enzo's is a must! You can't go wrong with any of their delicious meals but the Alfredo and Parmesan chicken is my absolute favorites.
