What was even more disappointing was the way you responded to my concerns. Arguing with a customer and becoming defensive does not resolve the issue or demonstrate good customer service. A simple acknowledgment and professional response would have gone a long way. I am not asking for a refund, nor am I looking for anything from you. I am expressing my experience as a customer and the way I was treated today. Thanks Eddie for your service and help. During my order, I found out that their pizzas have a base cost which was about $19+. Depending on what flavors you want, they will charge $6.00 for each flavor you build your own. I wanted half Hawaiian and half Vegetarian. Custom Medium would have cost me $31+ rather than $23+ for Medium Hawaiian Style only. I ended up with the latter and also got a regular Vodka Sauce Pasta. Total bill came to $38 including tax + tip. I enjoyed the pizza very much. Crust was thin. Sauce was tasty. Plenty of ingredients on pizza. Square cuts versus slice cuts. As for the Vodka Sauce Pasta, it didn't taste the same as before. This time it tasted bland as if it had plain marinara sauce only. Slightly disppointed about that, hence, 4 stars! All I have to say is wow. I feel like it is obligatory from my part to write an entire essay with all the reasons of why everyone in the San Fernando Valley should pay Pizza Man a visit (No exaggeration). Usually, all the pizzas I ever order are from overly-common franchise restaurants such as Domino's and Little Caesar's due to their low prices, and good quality; however, they usually lack that authentic pizza quality, if you will. I came across Pizza Man's yelp reviews a few weeks ago and decided to take the risk on giving it a try on Super Bowl Sunday. Quite a risk I think! My husband and I were hosting a gathering for approximately 10-12 people that afternoon so it was rather crucial for me to expect great pizzas without a lengthy wait for delivery, considering that it was Super Bowl Sunday. Fortunately enough I made the right choice and ordered 3 extra large pizzas, 40 wings, and 3 house salads. The young man who took my order was very amicable and patient with me. Definitely a plus! Customer service, in my opinion, is an important aspect that contributes to the quality of a restaurant. Any how, thank goodness the order was delivered in approximately 35-40 minutes. Quite impressive considering that it was an eventful day. I was not only impressed by the swiftness of the place, but also by the contents I received. Everything was very fresh, the pizza and wings were very hot and I had a very happy and satisfied group of football fanatics at my home. My husband was in awe hes the PICKIEST person when it comes to pizza. Price was very reasonable for everything I ordered. No more Domino's or Little Caesar's for me ever again! The only reason I gave it four stars is because the crust was a bit dry and there wasn't that much tomato sauce on it, which felt like it lacked some flavor. Pizza Man is basically an extension to take the runoff from Grimaldi's. That kooky old guy who welcomed you in and is throwing pizza dough around the place is actually Patsy Grimaldi himself. The oven in the back has been there nearly a century. You'll need to bring a group to split a pie, but once you do it's pretty damn economical at $2.50 a slice. The long line and reputation obviously speaks to its quality, I expected to shell out a lot more. Consider that you'd pay almost double for the same thing by the slice at most places. HIGHLY recommend the calzone too, it's incredibly filling and comes overloaded with a combo of extremely high quality cheeses. read more

It was a relief to find a Pizza Man in town as the other Pizza places we tried were not that great. The Pizzas were great and ready in 15-20 mins from time of order. There is also a special from Pizza Hut that you have to ask for and it gives you any large (except stuffed crust) for $10 plus tax for pick-up. Nothing beats that! read more

I almost never leave bad reviews, but this level of disrespect toward a loyal customer is unacceptable. Now I understand why they have 3 stars, even that feels generous. We'll gladly take our business somewhere else. Shame for an Armenian to own a business like this.
