One of the top places to get pizza in the 626, if I do say so myself. It's a smaller franchise so there's other locations out there, but this is the closest one to me, so if I'm ever in Pasadena and crave a slice of 'za, this is the place to go. It's one of my friend's favorite places too. Parking can be free if you're down to hunt for it, walk a bit, and mind the signs, but if anything there's always metered parking or the parking structures, many such Pasadena cases, but makes sense for the downtown area. My friends and I came here on a later Friday evening and there was no wait to walk up to the counter and order. Lots of historic pictures of celebrities who have dined there. Fun fact, NONE of the framed pictures and artwork (especially the largest one) are centered. If you're not too sure what to order, they have a lot of their pizza behind the glass for you to get an idea of what you're going to be feasting on. Most items come out quickly and decently hot, but for freshly made/assembled items like the garlic bread I ordered, it may take 10-15 minutes, but it comes out super hot and it's super worth it. Water is self serve and they also have condiments like Parmesan cheese, crushed red peppers, garlic powder, and other various spices. For my order, we got the: 1) Spicy Spring: -Rectangular cut pizza with Diavolo (one of the funniest Jojo villains to be honest) sauce, small cup pepperonis, fresh mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano. -I love pepperonis and they did not skimp out on how many goes on a slice. Crispy edges and salty perfection. Not super spicy, but has enough of a kick to make each bite addicting. 2) Sicilian Style Garlic Bread: -If you told me this was a sauceless cheese pizza I would have wholeheartedly believed you. Comes in a rectangle cut into 6 pieces. Super shareable and comes with your choice of sauce and I got the vodka sauce. -The worker in the cool goggle glasses recommended putting the crushed red peppers with the vodka sauce, and he was COOKING. Delicious and super garlicky and cheesy on it's own but the additional add-ons added a much needed extra kick to keep things lively. Either the slices on display look stale & terrible or the workers at the counter burn them beyond recognition during heat up. So tonight, July 3 we decided to order a full fresh pie for delivery. No luck. The food quality has declined drastically - Sysco tasting cheese and sauce? WTF has happened? Was this from a different pizza place? Or likely the meddling of Prince Streets new partner Lawrence Kourie (as of March 2026). We couldn't believe this was the same Prince St. pizza we had when they first opened. Had my first visit to Prince Street Pizza and Sheena made it a great experience. I always appreciate when employees actually have recommendations instead of saying "everything is good," and she pointed me toward the Naughty Pie, which was excellent. She was friendly, helpful, and had great customer service from start to finish. The food was really good, but the service honestly stood out even more. It definitely made my first visit memorable. This cute little New York style pizzeria in the heart of Old Town Pasadena serves up whole pies and pizza by the slice. Since I was there with 6 friends, we got two whole pies to share, and I'm so glad we did. The margarita pizza looked great. The toppings were delicious and the cheese was obviously good quality. The sauce was super. But while the crust was beautifully thin and looked like it would be perfect, it was oddly sweet, which put us off a bit. The spicy spring pie (pepperoni) had a thicker crust, almost like a focaccia. It wasn't oddly sweet like the margarita pizza, but it was just too bready. Again, the pepperoni and cheese and the sauce were really good, but the crust was the weak spot. Service was excellent. The only downside of the shop is that there were only a few tables and we had to wait until tables were available. I saw this place in IG and thought to myself that I wanted to try the place when I was in the area. I was expecting NYC pizza good but the crust was too dense and not airy as I recall having in NY the last time I was there. We tried the beef pepperoni pizza and the OG plain cheese pizza. Their round pizza tastes like a Sbarro pizza I can get at the mall. They do have square pizzas that my friend enjoyed but I didn't partake. I'll have to try another time. You walk up and place your order and they'll call your number. There are street parking and parking lots in the area but you'll need to pay a couple of dollars to park. Great pizza and lots of indoor seating located in a convenient part of Old Town Pasadena. Affordable, and you can order individual slices or whole pies as well as salads or pastas. We ordered three slices of individual square pizza. We got the exclusive seasonal flavor, which had some sort of vegetables and onions, and was very tasty. We also got the two most popular flavors, spicy spring and meat lovers. They were both super tasty and had a good thick chewy crust. The service was pretty fast, you order at the counter and get the slices reheated after around 8 minutes of waiting. The server was nice and recommended some slices to us. I love Prince St and I'm sad to write this review. My husband and I went this past Friday and while it was a busy time, we were really disappointed with the service. When we walked in, there was one party ahead of us, who ordered their food. After they ordered, we were patiently waiting to be helped but to our surprise, we were ignored for minutes. Multiple staff members were right in front of us yet continued to ignore us. After several minutes, the cashier finally looked at us and said so sorry we're really busy, it'll be a few minutes before you're helped. Mind you the party behind us also started asking what the hold up was. When we were finally helped, we ordered 2 slices to go and were told it would be 10ish minutes which is fine. When they finally called our name, we picked up our box which was labelled correctly. Granted, we should have looked inside the box to ensure the order was correct but given the correct box name and labeling, we didn't. We were so sad when we got home and realized that we received the wrong order completely. I'm a vegetarian and both slices in the box had meat in them, my husband had ordered the naughty slice and I had ordered prince perfection, and to our utter disappointment, we received neither. The only reason for two stars is because my husband still liked the options we were given as he has had them before, but it definitely was not what either one of us paid for. We live at least 30 min away from this location and didn't think it was worth driving back for. Suffice this to say, not only was our service horrendous, but to top it off, our order was completely wrong. Hoping it's a one off but given the reactions of some of the people behind us in line, sounds like they've had similar experiences. The Spicy Vodka is a must-order and is a spice level 3 or 4 on a scale of 1-10. If you enjoy a good spicy vodka rigatoni, you would love this! Two new favorites we discovered were the Prince Perfection and the Oakey Smokey slice. The Prince Perfection looks plain but really highlights their amazing red sauce. As usual with PSP, this pizza is super heavy...but also extremely delicious! If it's not a late night, one slice is honestly enough. More than one would be too much for me. Staff here are great! I actually came here initially to try The Best F*cking Pizza of All Time, but they had run out for the day. They were nice enough to just gift me a free slice (which I used on the Naughty Pie). A yummy go-to in Pasadena! I've tried their Little Tokyo location as well. Prince Street Pizza has a pre-established reputation from the East Coast. I've grown up with New York slices-- while I don't find myself craving pizza in LA (it's hard to find pizza that lives up to what I grew up with), Prince Street Pizza is a great go-to when I'm hanging out with friends. The pizza is thick, but not super doughy. It lends well to its flavorful toppings, which include salty, thick pepperoni circles that crisp up around the edges, greasy (in a flavorful way) sauce, and thick cheese. These characteristics are present no matter which variation you choose to go with, but my favorites are the Naughty Pie and Spicy Spring. Note that slices aren't the cheapest, but they are quite filling-- two could keep you full. You will also have to pay for parking in a nearby public parking lot if you wanted to dine-in or pick up your order. A lesser known secret-- this location pops up on Too Good To Go. If you pay attention, you could snag discounted slices at the end of the day, but plan ahead (you'd pick it up quite late in the evening, and you'd need to book it in advance). read more

It was not busy by any means but the dining area was dirty and everything you'd expect condiments, water cups, napkins were all out/empty so I guess these no staff keeping an eye out on the dining area. Perhaps I'll need to try another visit but from what I've heard this place was disappointing for the price. read more

This place is amazing, that's why we come back any time we're in So Cal. But this time was the best! I don't know if she was the manager (if not, she should be), but she was so nice and had me cracking up. She hooked us up with some cake when she saw my BF anniversary shirt. Came here for a quick snack with my friend and we shared the lunch special meal (2 slices of pizza w/ 1 fountain drink for $12!) of the Houston Jalepeno & the Naughty Pie and BOOOY was that delicious!! I couldn't decide between which slice I liked better because each slice had its own special flavor. The Houston jalepeno had a rich tangy / yet subtle spice to it, whereas the Naughty Pie had a creamy delicious taste. The cashier was super nice and friendly.
