The best that I tried here was probably the Naughty Pie, which I believe is a combination of Spicy Vodka and Pepperoni. The pizza came out quickly after heating it for us, and they also offer self-service red pepper flakes if you want to add some extra spice. Vegan Square has a thick, crispy Sicilian-style crust with creamy vegan cheese and their signature sweet marinara sauce... SO YUMMY! The Fancy Prince comes with a blend of fresh mozzarella, shredded mozzarella, ricotta, Pecorino Romano, and fresh garlic... this is my ABSOLUTE favorite! Got a slice of the meat lovers. When you order a slice, they will reheat it in the oven. However, by the time we went home, it was cold, so it was reheated in the oven again. So technically three times lool. It was good, but it was crispy haha. Two new favorites we discovered were the Prince Perfection and the Oakey Smokey slice. The Prince Perfection looks plain but really highlights their amazing red sauce. Service was friendly and patient, and they took time to explain things. Even the security guy was cool, which I appreciated. As for the pizza, it was just okay for me this time. For a pizza spot that sells slices along with whole pies they seemed super unorganized and unprepared. Got a meat lovers square and a classic cheese slice, the pizza was decent. The sauce is good, cheese ok , crust and dough ok, but the meat toppings were meh. As far as the slices they warm them up but that was inconsistent as one of my slices were nice and hot and one was lukewarm. The staff seemed understaffed as there weren't enough people taking orders/ manning the check out. It was not busy by any means but the dining area was dirty and everything you'd expect condiments, water cups, napkins were all out/empty so I guess these no staff keeping an eye out on the dining area. Flavor-wise, the dough on both pies was good, but the sauce felt flat--missing some acidity and seasoning. I know this spot has a loyal following, but this visit didn't land for me. It was an okay change from our usual Prime Pizza, but not nearly as good and at close to double the price. It's a hard pass next time. The location in Old Town Pasadena is convenient but parking is typical for the area. Inside, there's plenty of seating, but the vibe is very standard--functional, not particularly warm or charming like classic NYC pizza joints. The pizza is thick, but not super doughy. It lends well to its flavorful toppings, which include salty, thick pepperoni circles that crisp up around the edges, greasy (in a flavorful way) sauce, and thick cheese. These characteristics are present no matter which variation you choose to go with, but my favorites are the Naughty Pie and Spicy Spring. Note that slices aren't the cheapest, but they are quite filling-- two could keep you full. You will also have to pay for parking in a nearby public parking lot if you wanted to dine-in or pick up your order. A lesser known secret-- this location pops up on Too Good To Go. I love Prince Street Pizza as it has always been one of my favorite eats in NYC. There have been a good amount of locations opening in SoCal and I am so happy that the Pasadena location is only 20-30 min drive for me. Anytime we have errands to do in Pasadena, I have to grab a slice or two from Prince Street. This location is actually pretty big compared to its counterparts as they actually have some seating available with actual tables. There's also bathrooms available. The service is good and fast. I've ordered whole pies online and my pies have been ready within 20-30 minutes. My favorites are the spicy spring, naughty pie, four cheese, the green machine, and the original prince. The cheese they use is so good and fresh. Their in-house sauce is perfection. And their pizza dough for the Sicilian squares is amazing, it's subtly sweet kind of reminds me of Hawaiian bread if it were in thick pizza crust formation. The only downside of this location is that you do have to pay for parking as to be expected in Old Town Pasadena. There is digital metered parking on the street but it's hard to get parking there so I usually find parking in a structure nearby. read more

Prince Street Pizza is one of our favorite pizza by the slice spots. We've gone here and the Vegas location at Durango Casino. We visited the Pasadena location many times and I'm surprised I haven't taken time to write a review. This location for us is the closest to home. We love the selection that Prince Street has to offer. This location is usually very efficient and for the most part always busy with customers. The decor is cool, there are enough tables and countertop seating and the staff has always been great. We mainly come by when craving their signature Sicilian style slices. I personally love the meat lovers and the spicy spring slices. My preference is the corner slices because of the crispy edges of the crust. I love the flavor these slices have to offer and I'm always happy after having a slice of Prince Street. Side note, they have a vegan pizza by the slice as well. My wife loves Prince street because they offer the "Vegan" slice which is a version of the Margherita pizza. Whenever we're in Old Town Pasadena. I discovered Prince Street in 2019 when they did a pop up in Hollywood. I waited 2 hours in line and had a pretty sub par service experience. Since then, as they have expanded, I have visited many of their locations, including their original New York location.... Pasadena tops the cake when it comes to service... i'm not sure who's running this location and hiring the staff, but they are doing a very good job... the service at this location could be equivalent to a fine dining restaurant if you switch the setting... not in the sense of pristine and poise, but kindness and care for what they are doing... These people truly understand that the customer is the only thing that matters... without the customer, you have absolutely nothing... and Prince Street pizza Pasadena has shown me countless times (across my almost 30 visits - I live near), that they want my business... they have earned it and I will continue to support this different Prince Street location with my dollar... shout out to everyone that works there, but specifically Third, and the women who works in the evening (I forgot her name)...
