    La Bella Veggie Pizza
    Amber M.

My sisters and I went here for dinner. It was my first time here. My sister and niece eat at Giuseppe's frequently. My sister and I ordered pizza. I ordered the La Bella Veggie individual pizza and my sister built her own pizza with a vegetarian flair. My other sisters ordered the Linguine Alfredo dish. I didn't take a picture but it looked pretty good. The service was excellent. The food was made to order and very fresh. The serving sizes were huge. It was enough to save for lunch the next day. The environment is very trendy with a mix of a traditional pizzeria. We sat there until they closed shop. Great place to get traditional Italian dishes. I will be back with my sisters. Yum.

Price for two slices of pizza on Saturday.

This place has the best slice of cheese pizza for sure and the size is pretty decent. My only complaint is that they don't have a price written for a slice of pizza anywhere. They charge me different prices for a slice everytime I go. I took a picture of my receipt so if anyone wants to know how much a slice is, look at my receipt. But for sure this is my goto for pizza!

We've been wanting to try Giuseppe's for a while, and we're glad we finally did! The Vienna pasta was a favorite among the four of us, the Margherita pizza was tasty, and the flatbread was okay. Service was average, not particularly friendly but the vibe inside was lively and fun for a date night.

Giuseppe's is my favorite local spot for Pizza and Wings! Ordered a 14" Pizza that had Pink Sauce base and half Pepperoni and half Sauasage. It was enough for two people and we enjoyed every bit! The service was quick and kind. Their space is welcoming and traditional american Italian!

Love this little Local Gem of a Pizzeria! We came in just after 4pm for early dinner and glad we did. It was Wing Wednesday (so tasty Buffalo wings for a great price. The wings were crispy, hot and juicy (new favorite local wings) We each ordered a couple beers - sadly Eagle Rock Brewing is closing so it was nice to enjoy the last of their Hazy on tap. We then ordered 2 medium pizzas (to be sure to take some home) and it was FIRE. My inner Ninja Turtle was more than pleased. I'm always on the lookout for places that have sun dried tomatoes. When the pizza came out our super cool server Brendan made sure to tell me the tomatoes were there and carefully under the cheese so they wouldn't burn (yum *chefs kiss*) The ambiance was chill (I'm guessing due to the Weds Afternoon which we were grateful for) and to catch the end of the Dodger game. Brendan was incredibly personable and genuine which is incredibly refreshing. I'm grateful for such a cool spot, clearly connected to other restaurant spots on Honolulu that I truly feel like a welcome local! Pizza is great Be a good human and you'll be rewarded!

A special thank you to hostess Gaya, who greeted us so warmly and made sure my birthday reservation and seating were perfect. Our waiter Alvi was fantastic - attentive, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations. If you love champagne and spritz cocktails, I highly recommend their Rosé Champagne and spritz selections -- perfectly crafted, beautifully presented, and delicious. The truffle pizza was fantastic, and every dish from the sea bass to the chicken was cooked exactly how we requested. A special shoutout to Ramon, who brought out many of our dishes with such fun energy and had a great personality that made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself has such an elegant, intimate, and relaxing atmosphere that made the celebration feel extra special. Ramon surprised me with a beautiful slice of their homemade Napoleon cake with a candle, along with complimentary pistachio ice cream that paired perfectly with their delicious pistachio coffee. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch that completed the afternoon beautifully. Such a special ending to a wonderful birthday brunch. My entire party loved the experience and were impressed. We also asked for the coffee menu, but our server never brought it. Food took about 35-40 minutes to come out. If you want an aesthetic spot, this is definitely it. But if you're looking for authentic Italian food worth the price, you might want to try somewhere else. Also, water isn't free, they charge for the bottle. (Keep it in mind) Would I come back? Maybe, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I was reading this page and saw mixed reviews, so I decided to try it with my son and make my own determination. They have no parking but thankfully we found a spot on the side street. The restaurant is located on the ground level of an apartment building. They also have outdoor seating, but we sat inside. One restroom each for men/women (and super clean). We walked in and got a pleasant greeting from Mia. She was HANDS DOWN the best part of this experience and provided stellar customer service. She is so young and has a bright future ahead of her. Mia treated us with genuine kindness and was a pleasure to talk to during our dinner. She made sure we were well taken care of and our orders were to our exact specifications. This restaurant is very lucky to have someone as good as her working there. For our appetizers, we got the Cesar Salad ($17), Parmesan on the side, and Bruschetta ($17). I also asked Mia if they bring complimentary bread to the table and she said they do, upon request. She asked if we wanted olive oil or butter and I chose butter. My son and I both enjoyed the Bruschetta and thought it tasted very good. The bread was nicely toasted and the tomatoes were seasoned well. It was also a good portion, easily shareable between 2-3 people. The salad wasn't our favorite and we've definitely had better at other restaurants. The lettuce didn't taste too fresh and the dressing wasn't really that good. The portion size was good, though. For my entrée, I got the Spicy Rigatoni ($22) but I asked for it to be light on the spice and added shrimp (+$12). It tasted fine, nothing really to write home about. I had to ask Mia to microwave it for a minute because it wasn't hot. My son ordered the Chicken Parmigiana ($23) but asked for the chicken to be grilled instead of breaded. He said he enjoyed his dish and the tomato sauce had a good amount of garlic in it. For dessert, Mia was kind enough to bring out a complimentary Key Lime Cheesecake since she found out my son is celebrating his birthday in a few days. She was seriously impeccable. Honestly, the place is just really drab and boring. There isn't much decor and it feels like a slightly elevated diner that serves beer and wine. It was a Friday night and there was no one in there/no pickup orders. We were there from about 7:30pm-10pm when they closed and only 3 other parties came in. There is no music playing, which makes the atmosphere even more drab and lifeless. Its also super cold in there and I asked Mia to adjust the AC and even after she did, it was still cold. It's not an upbeat type of place at all but the food is decent and Mia's service is the best part. She herself is 10/5 stars, but for my overall experience, I'll stick with 4 stars this time.

Tutti perfecti!…read more Butternut squash ravioli was out of this world. Probably the best I've ever had, including in Italy. The sauce was so creamy and rich with the perfect hint of sage. I could have taken a quart of it home! The ravioli itself was perfectly cooked, generously stuffed with filling, and the taste of the butternut squash really came thru cleanly. The portion & the quality felt well worth the price, which is rare these days. An utter joy. Every bite was heaven. This will be a dish that I think about often. Mushroom risotto was delicious! Super soft mushrooms, great flavor, nicely cooked. I normally don't enjoy much rooms because they can get...squeaky. These were a generous amount, silky and smooth, and imparted a lot of great mushroom flavor to the rice. Another dish I'd order again anytime! We've also had both the lasagna and the gnocchi (w panna) and enjoyed them. The gnocchi in particular were so well made, just the perfect texture, pillow soft and a generous portion. You get a choice of sauces so I'd come back and try these with another sauce in the future just to see how that is. The panna was a lovely cream sauce with a light shallot flavor. I enjoyed it more and more as I ate and the sauce thickened. It was delivered pipping hot, so you have time to let the sauce set before digging in. Arugula & raddichio salad was SO fresh, delicious light dressing, excellent cheese. They kindly split this on two plates for us to share. Ever subsequent time we have ordered a salad they automatically do us this kindness. Very thoughtful. We have also tried the spinach and pear salad special of the day, which was delightfully tender spinach, tasty pears and an aged cheese in a wonderfully fresh dressing. I love their salad specials! We also had the special of the day appetizer which was buratta, prosciutto e melone. Delightful! The melon was crunchy & sweet, the prosciutto was great, and the buratta was so creamy. Service was excellent. Everyone who works here is very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They always have amazing specials, so be sure to ask about those. We have ended up ordering some of those every time we have been here. One of my favorite Italian places in all of LA. The quality is consistent, the menu is varied, the specials are actually special, and the covered outdoor patio area is great in all seasons. We will be back many times, I am sure.

The parents should have just taken their food to go, but they just sat there and let their kids scream the whole time. My husband and I stayed calm, but my son was ready to snap lol. We would have never stayed in a restaurant while our child was screaming when he was little. Holy cow. Anyway, beyond the nerve wracking screaming we really loved everything we ordered. I ordered the sole with capers and fresh veggies. My son loved his gnocchi. I think my husband ordered the angel hair pasta.

This place holds deep personal significance for me. My parents used to come here, and we visited often with my stepfather when he was alive. I have great family memories tied to this space. Our meal started traditionally with a bread basket served with cold butter. Because I was saving my appetite for a food charity event later that night, I stuck with the antipasto salad, while my mom and sisters enjoyed the chicken parmigiano, chicken piccata, and veal parmigiana.
