    Bulgogi with gold crust

I was in walking distance of this pizza shop looking for a place to eat. The first place I stopped by had a longer wait than expected and in my group someone suggested this pizza shop was an alternative. She heard about it through the grapevine from a colleague at work. I'm not from the area, I was just looking to try whatever new food I could while I was visiting so I was pretty excited for anything. Coming here had the vibe of other Korean restaurants I've been to. Seats styled modern, K-pop playing in the background, but the food seemed a bit more unique. They essentially make specialty pizzas with a bit of a korean twist to it. I ordered a bulgogi pizza which was really good with its meats and veggies. I found it a little strange that there was pizza sauce but i couldn't taste it unless it was closer to the crust. I paid a little extra for the crust to have a sweet potato stuffing which kinda reminded me of Korean corn dog shops and the kind of fillings they have. I am not sure if they just used less sauce so you can focus on the toppings and the stuffed crust or maybe that's just how it cooks when everything is together. When I think pizza I think there should be a layer of sauce in the whole slice which I did not get. But it still tasted really good. I got the smallest size of 10 inches and was too full to finish the whole thing so i took leftovers home. A little secret at this location is that, if you write a review on yelp or google reviews you can get 2 canned drinks for free. Well not really a secret. When you scan their menu QR code in the restaurant, they mention it. Who knows how long they will run that promotion, but as a yelp reviewer myself I was happy to take advantage of such a deal. I think its a small chain with a few locations around, but I would be happy to go back and try more of their options. I am glad I stumbled on this shop

This is a Korean pizza and chicken restaurant. Their pizza dough is infused with green tea. They prepare the pizza and put it on a roller that rolls the pizza through an oven. It takes 4-5 mins from one end to the other. They soft-opened 2023-09-20. During the soft opening period, they only offer a limited selection of pizza. But on the soft-opening day, the 4 available 13" pizzas are at 30% off. I ordered the Holy Honey Sweet Potato 13" Pizza ($22.90 - 30% special). It was very delicious! The customer service was very good. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Came here with a friend for their AYCE on a Monday at around 2pm. As we were both students, it only cost us each $16 to choose from 10 AYCE items. The pizza is made fresh, so there is a bit of the wait, but it came out all at once. We ended up trying all of the pizzas available for lunch, with our favourite being the Korean Bulgogi. The French fries are more wedges, and we enjoyed the crispy fried chicken wings. The pizza itself is pretty standard, and it's definitely worth trying since there are different toppings you wouldn't typically find at other pizza chains, like potato and corn. However, we did find that some slices had a lot of cheese. Our server was very sweet and came to check on us regularly. The place was decently packed when we came in, with a mix of people also doing the AYCE special and others just dining in normally. For students, this is a bang for your buck if you can eat a lot of pizza (unfortunately we tapped out after just 1 round).

Easy location closee to TTC College station. Chill environment with always the best cheesy chicago pizza in town. Excellent service.

Love this place. It's just down the street from me. I had the garlic and bulgogi "pizza". It was delicious, inexpensive and a perfect portion size for me. Recommend it highly.

Amazing service and multiple food options. Small place so we did have to wait a bit but not a deal breaker if you plan your visit. Standouts were the spaghetti and the seasoned boneless chicken! Will definitely visit again.

I got the Seafood Bay pizza to go, and it was great! Even my dad who is a picky eater really like it. The pizza was sweet and spicy, and had a unique combination of toppings.

I tried the Holy Honey Sweet Potato pizza as this seems to be one of their signature items. Will definitely be back to try some of the other pizzas. Pros: + Overall, pizza is great. Not too greasy, seasoned well, and fresh. I really like the crust here. It's thin and crispy and infused with green tea! + Service is great. + The "daily" pizzas are priced well at $10.90 for a 10". + You get a side of banchan. + They also serve Korean Fried Chicken and other Korean food. + Vibey kpop playing in the background. + They have a 10% cash discount. Cons: - Some of the specialty pizzas can be a bit pricey. Also some of them seem very gimmicky (there is a pizza with 1kg of cheese on it for example).

    Ayce pizza

The pizza looks good and has plenty of options. It came out pretty quick. The lighting is nice for photos

Just a heads up though, if you order "mild" it is still definitely spicy, but in a good way. That said, the service was a big downside. When I went with friends, the place was not even busy, but it still took about 20 minutes for our food to come out (yes I counted because we were in a rush). We only ordered two tenders with no drink. For something that feels like fast food, that is pretty unreasonable. I also went specifically to try the mozzarella sticks, but we were told they had not even started making them and it would take another 40 minutes, which is kind of wild. Even when our food was ready, things moved really slowly. The cashier took SEVERAL minutes just labeling and staring at each box, even though we all ordered the same thing, and then another minute just to put everything into a paper bag. Maybe it was his first day? Another frustrating part was that the washrooms were locked, so we could not even use them while we were there, which was a mild inconvenience, but I think bathroom access in a spicy chicken shop is a bit crucial. On top of that, it is pretty expensive for what you get. Overall, the food is the only thing really saving this place. It tastes incredible, but because of the slow service, locked washrooms, and high prices, I probably would not go back.

Overall, my experience was alright. Nothing screamed out "Oh I have to go again!" or "let me tell…read moresomeone about this!". The piece of chicken on my sandwich was a rather peculiar piece in terms of its shape. It did not provide an enjoyable eating experience. When I took my first bite, after figuring out which would be an easy bite, a piece of chicken fell out which made me realize it was two separate pieces of chicken inbetween two buns. It got rather messy after having to pick up the fallen pieces. Other than that, it was flavorful but wasn't the best I've had. I prefer Dave's Hot Chicken over this. My fries were pretty salty. If given the option, I would have requested lightly salted or no salt at all. Space was small but understandable as it seemed to be a carry-out spot. Customer service wasn't quite all that. The girl took our order and that was it. Not much of a greeting nor farewell/thanks for coming. We didn't receive a follow-up during our meal to see if we may needed anything. I would have benefited from extra napkins. My friend enjoyed his meal. He stated it was a good meal but he wouldn't go out of his way to get this. He would have preferred to uber-eats it if he lived here. What made me want to go was the name. My last name is the same as the restaurant name so I figured give it a go! Also saw positive reviews on TikTok.

The Szechuan taste is a brilliant partner for this southern classic. You can eat in at the counter, or in the summer the patio is a nice place to enjoy your sandwich in peace and soak in the busy Queen West energy just up the street. Love this place, the staff give off a good vibe.

Very easy and efficient way to place your order. I got my usual, Signature Tonkotsu ($16) with a flavoured egg (+$3). It did not disappoint. Very good and flavourful broth without being too salty. This location is newer but retains the same seating format inside as its predecessors. First thing I noticed sitting down was how inflation absolutely drove these prices through the roof since the last time I had a bowl. Got myself a tonkotsu broth (totally missed the gyokai option ... only realized once I started eating and casually glanced back over at my sheet). Added premium toppings and held off on the gyozas this time around. Some things to note. They removed some condiments from the table. The pickled ginger, bamboo, mustard greens and garlic all used to be available ON the table for me to grab as a customer. Now the waitress just asks you if you want them when she's grabbing your order sheet. I think they should revert to having those items back on the table. I'm still able to grind my own sesame seeds into my ramen at the table which is great. Taste-wise, the bowl was delicious and reconfirmed to me why Ikkousha belongs in my top 5 list for toronto ramen. Value though? That's another story... My bowl of ramen with premium toppings and a serving of extra noodles was ~ $30 after tax and tip which is wild tbh. I don't think any other ramen place is charging that or more except Hokkaido Ramen Santouka (which I would argue has debatable value as a diner because of their super small portions). Yes, as a resto owner you account for inflation but I can't help feeling that the current pricing has gone past the inflation curve. 5 star ramen, 2 star pricing/value. The quality was excellent hence the 5 stars, but mentally I HAVE to drop a star because the price is just too high to ignore.
