We were searching for a quick bite in between parades. The location was about the only thing I found to be good. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon, seemed promising that locals approve. We ordered quickly as we were on a time limit. 2 slices of cheese pizza for me, a slice for my granddaughter and hubs got an Italian sub. It took over 45 min to get our food. Ok, they were busy so can forgive the delay, but the pizza was flavorless. Like zero. Would have been better off with frozen. 2 stars cuz hubs did enjoy his sub but fries he got came out cold and soggy. Pizza Amore in wf is much better choice! read more

We have yet to have anything bad from here! Typically we just call in our order for dinner and go pick it up. The actual restaurant is always packed, so that tells you something right there! It is definitely a go to for locals, but don't be shy if you're passing through or searching for something new to try out this way. A must order is the chicken alfredo; it does not disappoint...in taste or portion size!! Not a dish for those looking to watch their waistbands. If you're a little more conscious of that, there is always the antipasto salad. It's got roasted red peppers, olives, and carrots in addition to the meat spread you typically see...mmmmmm!! I was forced to return here last evening for a family get together, and with the same results. Soggy/greasy pizza mia special and heartburn/indigestion all night. No more do-overs for me in this place, I think the next time I'm told "We're getting together with... ... at Pizza Mia" I'll just tell my bride I'm skipping it and I'll deal with the family fallout later. Beer selection was sparse at best, all the watery (but for some reason popular) standards are on the menu - so I ordered a Heineken - "Sorry, we don't carry that any more." Nice people.....that's about it. Apparently salt doesn't exist in the kitchen. Food has no flavor. Philly cheesesteak tasted like a lettuce wrap. (Also, don't put lettuce and tomato on a cheesesteak.) I've had the pizza before too....also not great. Everything here is flavorless. Being in a small town, the staff knows everyone. So don't expect fast service. Boyfriends and friends are more important than a customer standing at the door apparently. One girl hardly left her boyfriend (I'm assuming) the whole time I was there. If you are looking for some kickass food prepared and served by friendly, good humored people, you can't go wrong with this little tucked away gem of a restaurant. Decided to try this place between parades in Creedmore & Butner and thought since it was packed that it'd be a good place to try. So in a small town like Creedmoor, people are eager for the opportunity to enjoy a new restaurant. Unfortunately, Pizza Mia's name wasn't the only thing that lacked originality. Pizza Mia's decor, immediately is able to be identified as a Andy's fast food crossbreed, but if only it tasted as good. After the first time I visited Pizza Mia I said I wasn't impressed and decided not to go back, but once my wife was close to her due date and knowing Pizza Mia had Jalapeno Poppers on the menu, we decided to give them a second try. I must say both times the fried jalapenos were great, but not 6 bucks great. My sweet tea glass stayed empty for close to 15 minutes during the main course which made it impossible to eat my calzone that was served hot, the temperature of hell hot. My wife ate a few bites of her eggplant something another, got a box for it, and it wasted away in the freezer. My wife doesn't let restaurant left overs go bad... ever. read more

Great food, great service.. and honesty. Our vehicle was damaged by one of the umbrellas placed in a table outside the store. We were inside eating and one of the employees came up to us and asked if that was our vehicle and that he thought he did something stupid. Turns out he had placed an umbrella in a patio table and when he walked away the wind caught it, lifted it up into the air and slammed it through the windshield of our car parked in the nearest parking space. Not only did they come right to us and tell us about it, they offered up insurance, contact information and paid for every single penny of the repairs voluntarily. Such honesty and ability to stand for what is right / do the right thing.. is so rare nowadays. Our vehicle was fixed and we continue to be customers of this restaurant as not only is the food and service great.. but the staff have proven themselves to be absolutely outstanding as well. Stopped by Pizza Mia in Creedmoor, NC for lunch. On the menu is salads, sandwiches, calzones, strombolis, pasta dishes and of course pizza. Lots of indoor seating available. On this visit I ordered the veggie sub which has eggplant, onions, mushrooms, olives, broccoli, lettuce, tomato and provolone cheese on Italian bread for $5.95. I also had the small Cesar salad. The salad was decent, but the sub is not worth ordering again. But I will be back to try the pizza in the future. There's something about NY pizza, hard to explain. Maybe it's not for everyone, but it is for me. Pizza Mia captures that same taste and feeling in their restaurant. And it should - that's where the owner is from! For fun, order a large calzone and everyone at the table will laugh when it comes. The size is really funny. We go here frequently, and always order the same thing. I get buffalo wings and he gets a Stromboli. We recently decided to switch it up and order a ravioli plate, we thought that we'd be able to share with the baby. When I brought the plate home, there were five little ravioli swimming in a puddle of cheese sauce. I went back to the restaurant and asked if there had been a mistake, since the plate cost $12. The woman behind the counter told me there was no mistake. I asked her if the ravioli were really $2 per. She told me once I start eating it it's worth it. I asked if I could speak to a manager and she said said I could not. She told me it's very filling and next time maybe I should order two kids meals (which would have been less pasta for more money). Very disappointed in the food order, but especially disappointed in the attitude this woman gave. read more

Ordered lunch from here to go while in the area. I ordered a caesar salad with banana peppers and kalamata olives. WOW, they put so much of the peppers and olives I was digging through trying to find the lettuce. It also had way way too much dressing on it. All in all not a very good salad. I also ordered the fried jalapenos which were pretty much what you would expect, very greasy but they were good. The only thing that has ever been good was the pizza but now a days i got a 50/50 chance of that being any good. Surprisingly good pizza for creedmoor. I've had their pizza pies and individual slices. All very good. Cheese is good and they don't skimp. Crust is slightly soggy just the way I like it. I'm sure you can order it more crispy, but I love it exactly the way it comes out! Very much the way traditional NY pizza is made. I also really enjoy their salads. I've had the antipasti salad and Caesar Salad, both were good. I usually order here about 1-2/month. I've had their subs only the chicken & eggplant Parms......wouldn't order either again. Eggplant was not fresh and sub was mushy. Chicken parm was a bit too salty and sub was mushy. Too. I'm always greeted nicely when I go and interior is always clean. But I usually take out. Haven't tried anything other than items described, but I am a repeat customer for their salads & pizza. read more

Probably some of the best calzones I've had. Great simple restaurant, but a nice variety of subs, sandwiches, and Italian eats. They have a couple different cold bottles in the cooler if you're into that. And no matter your feelings of triteness, they give a 10% discount on Sundays with your church bulletin. There's a small bar to sit and enjoy a slice and a beer, and the tables are roomy in the well lit and well windowed dining room. The open kitchen lets you see the fantastic staff working their magic. The dough in the pizzas and strombolis is fresh, the sauce is bright and not overly sweet or spiced, the mozzarella is heaped on and the toppings are amazing. The black olives on the Pizza Mia special taste like kalamatas, and are a decadent, briny addition that I highly recommend. The salads are crisp, and the fresh mozzarella and tomato side is to die for. Couldn't ask for a better family pizza restaurant like you grew up going to before PizzaHutDominosJohns took over the market. Warm inviting atmosphere with a friendly staff and well above average food! My personal favorite is the baked spaghetti (it's not on the menu, but they will hook you up)! The only reason it's not rated higher is that often there is very few wait staff there and you can wait for a long time to get served. So as long as you're not in a hurry, Pizza Mia is a great place to grab a slice!!! read more
