It's good enough that my graphic designer coworker actually put together a logo to celebrate the days we order it for lunch. And it has the perfect name to inspire hours of puns and jokes. ("I got a large Chub on my birthday!" "Eat your fair share of the Chub - don't get stiffed!") For those of you who haven't had this amazing pizza yet, let me tell you about it. It's basically a beef sandwich, complete the hot peppers and cheese, baked inside a crust. It's served with a big side of au jus for dipping or just pouring over your 'za. It's also incredibly filling - as much as I love it, I can't put away more than a slice and a half. A large feeds our whole five-person department. My coworkers and I all agree that the Chub is pizza perfection. The days we order it are dubbed Chub Days and we literally count down the time until Pizza Mia is open so that we can order it. It seems like we can't have a family gathering or order out without getting Pizza Mia. We have been ordering here ever since they opened their New Lenox location and the quality of the food never waivers. It is always the first suggestion we have when deciding what to have for dinner. It is consistently the best fried chicken I have ever had. Everything I have had on the menu, the thin crust pizza, garlic bread, potato wedges, chicken parmesan sandwich (which is HUGE by the way) are all very good and I would recommend them to anyone. I also like that their hours start early so we can have lunch if we feel like it. I like not having to wait until 4 or 5pm to have pizza. I would like to start trying more of the apps and pastas, I am sure they are just as delicious. read more

Ordered The Chub online for pick up. Arrived to pick up order, only 3 people allowed inside. Long line outside was not moving. If your pizza isn't ready, please step outside to wait so others can pick up their orders. Clerk was not apologetic. Blamed me for not ordering as curbside pick up. Order was lukewarm when we finally got it home. Reheated Chub in oven, it was ok. Ordered red sauce and au jus, red sauce missing. Trying to support local businesses during this time. The family and I have been ordering pizzas from Pizza Mia for a while now. We just ordered a 16" cheese and sausage and a 16" cheese and pepperoni last night. The pizzas are very good, not greasy at all. They have good solid crusts and plenty of ingredients. The service is friendly and with coupons the prices are reasonable. We have also tried their catering service for some family parties and we all think they offer some of the best Italian Beef out there. Their other food offerings are also good too. read more

I was looking for a different catering option and on the recommendation of many people i decided to give Pizza Mia a try. I was not disappointed. The first time (in January) I ordered the chicken and pasta combo, chicken tetrazzini, and The Chub. The food was delivered hot, fresh, and plentiful!! Total hit with all our guests. This time I added the sausage with potatoes and peppers. My sister-in-law was happy because she was hoping I ordered from the same place. Not a very good Pizza. I like to switch it up with who we order pizza from. So the other day we tried Pizza Mia New Lenox. Lousy. Bland flavors. I asked if they could make a Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Well the failed miserably. Not even close. No Buffalo sauce, no blue cheese. Wtf. One of the easiest pizzas to make, especially when they advertise create your own pizza. It should not take an Hour and 15 minutes to get a pizza delivered. Especially when I live within 5-10 minutes of this location. Ordered gluten free pizza, easy sauce, well done. Received regular pizza dough, too much sauce and regular doneness and it was COLD. I order the same thing each time and each time they screw it up and it always takes more than an hour. Friday night is pizza night at our house, most of the time we buy from the same places, but we decided to try something different, each week we buy from a different place, this week it was Pizza Mia, Buy a medium pizza and get a small cheese pizza free, good deal, the pizza was fantastic, about $17.00 for a 14 inch double crust with sausage, and they are not skimpy with the sausage, almost too much, they also do catering, a great place to go for decent food. read more

New Lenox has themselves a good deep dish joint! They don't deliver west of rt52, which means I've only experienced their pick up service. The rotating crew of 12 year old cashiers have only messed up one order in the 3 years I've frequented this place, which speaks volumes about the surrounding Lincoln way school district. I'm not trying to mess with the thin crust at this place, and neither should you. Go deep dish, and/or go home. Grab some of their breaded shrooms, and you won't be disappointed. They usually get smashed on the car ride home or are gone before the pizza even gets plated. All in all, a good spot. Delicious! Ordered a pepperoni pizza and an Italian beef and giardiniera pizza. The giardiniera was not the usual blend but very closely resembled what Pops uses and I looooooooved it. I also ordered breadsticks and they were so perfectly soft and fresh. They also are super generous with rewards points when you order online so you get a lot of opportunities for free sandwiches/breadsticks. Pretty cool. read more

Pizza Mia is a go-to for tasty quick dinners in our household. They have good pizza (stuffed is delish) and their broasted chicken is fantastic!!!! Their chicken dinner wipes the floor with that "other" chicken place. We order there often, and have gotten catering from them as well on several occasions. I spent over fifty dollars in pizza and could not get a drink of water for my child, unbelievable. First time this has ever happened to me, I went to pick up my order and my son was thirsty I asked the girl at the register if I could have a little water? She said you want to buy a bottle and I said no just a little cup please and she said we do not have any cups. Terrible customer service in my book. Absolutely any where I have bought pizza, if I asked for a little water they were more than happy to give some water to the kids. I give them two stars for service the pizza was okay but a little water would have gone a long way for me especially spending so much money. Pizza Mia has been an all time favorite of mine! I've been eating it since the early 90's when they opened in Homer! The recipe is still the same...DELICIOUS! I love the thin crust but I recently tried "the chub" and it was awesome. Everything is good. Best Chicken around. I catered from there last week. Horrible customer service!!! I ordered a heart shaped pizza for my children as a special surprise on Valentine's Day. I ordered it at 4:40 and was told it would be delivered at 5:30, at 6:10 I decided to call and find out why my pizza was so late. At first I was told by the young girl that answered the phone that my pizza was out for delivery then when I asked what time the delivery person left I was then told my pizza was actually still being cooked. I asked to speak to a manager and when he got on the phone he cut me off with a weak apology and told me my pizza was initially made wrong and had to be remade. This still didn't add up to why my pizza was now 45 minutes late being delivered so I asked again why the delay and was then told my pizza was made incorrectly the first time and then my order got lost in the shuffle. I HATE being lied to. I told him to scrap the pizza order. I know I'm only one customer and loosing my business won't matter to them but keep up that kind of customer service and they'll be losing a lot more customers. There are many choices for pizza here in New Lenox so I will be gladly taking my business elsewhere. read more
