One of the most popular and viral counter service restaurants in Epic Universe is Pizza Moon. The interior looks like an old fashioned silent films from the 1920s. Here they specialize in coal fires pizzas. We ordered our kids their usual cheese and my wife ordered their harvest moon pizza. Harvest pizza was excellent topped with grilled artichokes, tomato, roasted peppers, Castelvetrano olives and arugula. I decided to be unique and order their viral and famous Pizza Lunare (purple pizza). The pizza lunare consist of roasted garlic béchamel, fromage de lune, ricotta, pancetta, garlic confit, purple celestial ube crust. It was good but I still preferred the harvest moon. We made room for dessert and ordered their brownie eclipse which consist of gooey brownie, Nutella, toasted marshmallows and crushed Oreos. It was a good dessert warm and gooey but I wished it had more Nutella. I think Pizza Moon is one of the best theme park pizzas in town! read more

Shockingly good pizza for a theme park! Reasonably priced too. There was a bit of confusion with the gluten free pasta order but we just had to go to the register to straighten it out. Food randomly arrived very spaced out. Some were almost finished before other dishes arrived. I would still highly recommend. We ended up here on one of the very cold days when many of the other restaurants were unable to open. Glad we got to try it. Beautiful inside. read more

Do yourself a favor and get the ube pizza! It feels like you're sitting in a pizza dream. It's cold that you can see the staff making the pizza. There is a long line but sitting inside is worth it especially with Florida weather but also to admire the decor. A must eat at epic! read more

Let me start by saying this is NOT your regular pizza spot in a theme park. All of their pizzas are made to order so you may wait a little longer for your pizza, but it's so worth it! I got the pizza lunare, mainly because of the ube crust. Let me repeat that. Ube crust! I've never seen that anywhere so I had to try it out. The pizza took about 10-15 mins to come to our table, which gave us a nice break from the heat outside. The interior was amazing. Universal always does such a good job with their theming. Did the pizza match the interior though? I'd answer with a resounding yes! The pizza was cooked to perfection and the undercarriage was crispy. Universal have really leveled up the game in terms of theme park dining experience. I'll be definitely coming back to try out the other pizzas. Pizza Moon- Universal Epic Universe Really cool atmosphere and fun theming. Definitely one of the more unique quick-service spots in the park. I had heard great things, so maybe my expectations were a little high. The process is pretty efficient: you pre-order on the app, wait in line for a table, then scan a QR code with your table number and they prepare your food. The line moves fast, which we appreciated. The crust was actually very good (especially for Florida pizza), but the sauce tasted like frozen pizza sauce, which was disappointing. The staff was not particularly welcoming or warm which I found prevalent throughout all three Universal parks that I visited. Overall, it was decent. Perfectly fine for theme park food. Just not as amazing as the hype made it sound. Good, not great. read more

This place was very mediocre. Walked in and three employees standing at the front were too busy gossiping to notice my party and I, and once they did, the young man just pointed to the line and said to go over there and returned to his gossiping. We got a table and ordered by QR code like most places at the park, and received our food quickly. The one pizza was good, though I only had a slim slice. I ordered the rigatoni meteor melt, and split it with a friend. The meat ball and cheese were good,, but the noodle and sauce were just okay. Not Olive Garden bad, but not much better. Service is alright (they deliver the pizza to you at your table when you order on the app). The food is honestly overrated. I thought it would be amazing but it's just like a regular pizza. I wish I could give Pizza Moon a 3.5 instead of a 3. I'll start by saying how absolutely amazing the food is. Our party enjoyed a salad, two pizzas and a pasta dish. We had someone with a gluten allergy with us and the chef was fantastic in helping us to make sure he was taken care of properly. The decor is so stunning, we all loved it so much. The main reason for the lower rating is the staff. We had to ask for things we shouldn't have, for example more than 1 silverware setting for a party of 5. Their was also an extremely loud table next to us that seemed to be getting "special attention" from the wait staff when we needed help and when we asked for help the staff seemed annoyed. I think some more training is needed but the food is for sure the star for the show here. read more

I had heard really good reviews of this place before visiting Epic, so I was excited to try it! Overall, it lived up to my expectations. The pizza was cooked perfectly and a nice size. The "famous" pizza lunare with the ube crust really was SO good. I could eat it once a week. The pepperoni and mushroom/garlic ones were good too. The theming and aesthetic is seriously so cute!! So fun. The restaurant is large too so shouldn't ever be difficult to find seating. Universal is pushing hard on the order-on-the-app then served-at-table scheme which I truly hate but it wasn't specific to this restaurant. We wanted to take it to go and despite having FIVE people standing at the counter with registers where in theory you should be able to order, they still made me sit at a table and order, have the order delivered to me, and then ask the person to immediately return with boxes so I could transfer to a box myself. It was very silly and annoying. But food itself if great. read more

The staff brought out 2 of the pizzas and never brought out our third. I went to the manager 3 times he said it would be coming out next. Never came finally I went up and he said there was confusion and that I wasn't at my table when the order was ready. Impossible I was there the whole time. He eventually gave me the pizza and then called me a liar which ruined the whole fun day that my family and I had. The food was great for theme park food. The mushroom pizza is more than enough for 2 people to split. We got the lemon cake for dessert and it was delicious as well. Service is amazing at pizza moon! I accidentally ordered two too many pizzas I was having a very stressful day, week, month. Looking back I may have been sleep deprived lol. When they brought too many pizzas I told them I didnt need that many. They said it was OK to go ask for refund. The lady at the register was so sweet as by the time I made it to the register I was in full waterfall state from my eyes over pizza haha. I want to thank her for being so kind to me. This was my first visit to Epic Universe, so my wife and I chose to come here to Pizza Moon for lunch. The food was delicious and came out fairly fast, within 25 minutes of placing the order from our phones. The restaurant is beautiful as well, but that's where the positives end. Starting with issue number one, was the cleanliness of the chefs and servers/food runners. We were seated towards the front of the restaurant, so we were very close to the rocket ship kitchen area where we saw them prepare some pizzas, salads, and desserts. We had asked for a to-go box at the end of our meal, so I caught the name of the chef Felix. He touched his phone, food, and parts of his upper arms and would touch other food items. Not only is this cross contamination, but also unsanitary. Being so close to the front, we also caught our server named Adrian, doing the same, never washing his hands, and as an added negative thing, trying to trip an employee who looked like he was struggling to find tables when bringing out food. Absolutely abhorrent behavior from that guy. Overall, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is nice, but the service and preparation of food is not up to par, at least from these two individuals that we witnessed firsthand. read more

For theme park pizza it's pretty good, but if you're a pizza connoisseur you will think it's a decent, not great pie. It's just important to remember that this is in a theme park so the options are above average, the pies are creative, and the atmosphere is great. I think for families this is a good spot. I went before the lunch rush and was seated immediately. Service was very slow. I had my mobile order ready before I arrived at the restaurant and only needed to enter my table number to start the order. It took over 15 minutes for my Coke freestyle cup to arrive and about the 40 minutes for the Pizza. Since time is important at EU with the long ride wait times, I don't recommend coming here unless you want a long mid-day break. If you're looking for something quick in the park, I'd go elsewhere. So overall, decent pizza with theme park inflated pricing, nice atmosphere; horribly slow service. read more

The only complaint is it is very expensive. $51.00 for a pizza and salad (6slices) and 2 drinks but that's the one problem with epic adventure park everything is very expensive. read more
