Stopped by Pizza Lovers on my lunch break and grabbed an order of their breadsticks--absolutely worth it! They were hot, perfectly seasoned, and had that soft-on-the-inside, slightly crisp outside that hits just right. Service was quick and friendly, which made it an easy, stress-free stop in the middle of a busy day. Definitely one of my new go-to spots when I need something tasty fast. Highly recommend!

Pizza Movers in Takoma Park MD has been around for years and is always a destination when I come back to DC to visit family. They have a tried and true sauce that is unequaled (IMHO) and their crust is perfection. I've left reviews about how I end my trips to DC with a pizza that I eat a slice, then wrap in tinfoil, pack into a Tupperware box and bring back to Oakland CA so I can enjoy my favorite pie in the 510. Side note: had a coworker in SF who grew up in Takoma Park and she got very excited when she found out our multiverse of Pizza Movers. Made sure to bring her back some slices and we both had a great lunch that day. 10000 stars, Pizza Movers. Keep on doing that thing that you do!

Customer service was horrible. The older gentleman was extremely rude. I hope he didn't spit on my pizza... The pizza is not worth the money. A new owner needs to take over!

This weight of the 3 stars is depending on the pizza. It's your average pizza. I had a large pepperoni. It was pricey at $16.95. The best way to describe it is it taste like Costco. The person at the register who I assumed what the owner was just rude as hell. Think of a New Yorker rushing you in and out of the carry out. It's my first time and the menu was pretty big. I was the only person in the store; he wasn't rushing me to order. My issue with him was that when it came for payment he was just mad that my card declined, and said you have no money. We just wiped the strip and did it again and it went through, anyways. Pizza good service bad ‍

Seen this place multiple times because I've lived and went to school in the area. I decided to go in today and I was met wit great service... clean kitchen and shown amazing hospitality... the food was great and it'll definitely be added to my list of pizza spots I enjoy .

Idk why the reviews are so poor. The carry out special is bomb, and the pizza is some of the best in the area IMO.

We were in town for my son's swim meet and wanted a great Italian spot where he could carb up before his races and I'm so happy we found this beautiful, family-oriented restaurant. The moment we walked in, the smell of fresh, delicious food filled the air and instantly made us feel at home. From the very beginning, the owners were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. We were greeted with genuine smiles and treated like family, which made the entire experience even more special. The customer service here is truly top-tier attentive, friendly, and full of heart. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with love. We were even treated to complimentary bread and pizza, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. And the dessert? AMAZING the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. One thing that really stood out was how the owners greeted so many guests by name. You could tell there are many loyal regulars, and seeing that kind of connection between a restaurant and its customers is rare and beautiful. It created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like part of the community. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be coming back. It's on the same block as a really nice Thai place and a nice Mediterranean spot as well. There weren't many people on a weekday night so we just walked in. Street parking is free after 7 PM. The star was the margharita pizza. And we also got a calzone, which was also really good. The texture of the crust and the little slight crunch and the sauce was really great. I wish there was more basil on the margarita pizza. There were three pieces of basil on the entire pie the pasta we got was the seafood pasta and it was a bit salty and portions are a bit small, but maybe that's the norm now? And we also got this other mushroom ravioli thing that is also pretty good but just really small. I think it was like five or six pieces of ravioli for $24. Service was fine. It was standard. The restaurant was a little bit hot during the heat wave. I wish it was a little cooler so with the four dishes altogether it was over $80 before tip for two people and we just had a little bit left over which is why I thought the value was more 3.5 than a four. That said, I'd still come back and get the margarita pizza and calzone - they're really quite good.

It's family-owned and operated, and you feel that warmth the moment you walk through the door. The staff are genuinely welcoming, happily accommodate substitutions and dietary restrictions, and often recite the nightly specials with a delightful mix of English and Italian--usually accompanied by a compliment about your outfit or your dinner companion that makes everyone smile. We had Christmas Eve dinner there this year, and it was every bit as memorable as we'd hoped. The portions are generous enough to share or take half home for lunch the next day. I especially recommend the Chicken Marsala, Chicken Piccata, and the classic mussels, all prepared beautifully. Don't overlook their neighboring pizzeria either--it's our go-to for both takeout and casual dining. Trattoria Da Lina is the kind of neighborhood restaurant every community wishes it had.

I remember getting the chicken fettuccine Alfredo but I couldn't remember too much of what I thought of the spot while my fam thought it was pretty good. It's been a minute so I've finally decided to come back to review this spot. I ordered online through DoorDash for pick up and once I got there the door was locked for some reason but luckily after I called them they unlocked the door. The inside looked a bit different from the first time I was there (last time looked more spacious) but it still looked decent. For my order I got the pappardelle bolognese $22, fettuccine Alfredo $20, and classic chicken parmigiano $21. - the pappardelle bolognese was my favorite of the 3. It had a creamy tomato flavor sauce that was paired nicely with beef to make a very good tasting dish. - The fettuccine Alfredo was okay but it's not something that I would get again. - The classic chicken parmigiano was solid but nothing crazy. I did like the chicken portion but the spaghetti pasta had to be the smallest I've ever had. - the Complimentary fresh bread and oil came with the meal and it was okay. All in all, this is a solid spot for pasta and my main recommendation would be the pappardelle bolognese which was done very well.
