Hadn't been here in a few years until recently. You order slices at the counter, and they are ready fairly quickly while they warm them up. I got their pepperoni slice, and we also tried their ham and pineapple slice. The pizzas are good, but I think there are better local pizza shops. I tried their cinnamon roll pizza, which was delicious! That took a bit longer to be ready, but it still tastes delicious reheated. There is plenty of parking and seating available. The staff were all friendly and service was quick.

Free Pizza? On a Monday night after the Thanksgiving weekend, my local my handed me a free slice suggesting that it was too small to charge. After tipping generously (of course!), I chewed down what must have been my 1-thousanth slice. Now I'm not so naive to claim Pizza my Heart is equal or better than most NY pizza.., or am I? It's consistently the best pizza in my backyard and I'm a NYC transplant with Ray's Pizza roots. In fact, my wife and I met for lunch dates on the regular at Ray's midtown and she agrees - Pizza my Heart is a taste of home and our Big Apple based LVE to this day.

Huge parking lot If it's packed it's worth waiting ! One of the best pizza places I've been to. Foods authentic They have shareable snack, chicken wings 12 chicken wings 24 chicken wings breadsticks Kook ie. cinna-bomb Signature pizzas with me the vegetarian favorite vegan pie Handcraft slices the prices are great anywhere from 5.99 to 6.99 They have California farm salads Everything is fresh. They have a soda machine and it has the real amazing best root beer. !! Don't get the turd if you see that it's packed with people sitting down and there's nowhere to sit people get up and go and you should be able to get seating. It is super packed every time I drove by during my stay down here. Staff seems happy to be working here and they're quick and efficient They have beer on tap and a few tvs with the game not huge but you can see the game.

Aptos is really lacking in the pizza department, so I'm glad we have PMH now! I got the chicken bacon one and manresa today. Yum! both were a perfect mix of flavors and textures, elevated far above other chain pizza spots. The staff is always so sweet too. Their slices remind me of summers growing up here in SC. I definitely recommend, if not for the memories, for the awesome eats at a good price. P.S. you have to try dipping in ranch and their other sauces!

This piece of my heart is a solid four stars. Friendly service, good selection shirts, and they heat up the pizza slices to perfection. Also has a nice local beer selection and large seating area.

My son was eating a slice and thought a hair was in his food.. Turns out it was a RUBBER BAND. I understand these things happen however this was a 5 year old child that could've easily chocked, please make sure your staff is more aware as this is a huge health concern!

Pizza was good except it was a bit oily and the crust was soggy from all of the oil as well. Flavor was good and toppings generous.

To go box and T shirt

Food is Very good. They sell pizza by the slice with cool t shirts. Very friendly staff. great atmosphere.

For Sante Adairius the beer that Steve and I had and I can report liked was their IPA known as Spots and Dots. This IPA was a bit more refreshing and fun compared to some IPA'S where it just seems like a blur from one brewery to the next and you wonder if you actually went to a different brewery from the previous one if you have IPA'S back to back. So in this regard I am happy to say that it was distinctive and had it's own signature. Flavor highlights with this IPA are hoppy, juicy and bitter. The beer is also aromatic and smooth. I found out later this brewery makes very good saisons so should the opportunity arise again to get a hold of one I certainly will as I love a good saison!

Very unsuspecting strip mall next to the cineplex. Upon walking in there's pizza slices behind glass. Not sure if it was the lighting or my hunger but these pie's looked astonishing and each one could have been ordered without some self control. Every slice passed the eye test. Vibes were pretty low inside I won't lie. There was no music, TV playing the NBA playoff game was on mute. But the girl at the counter was friendly and patient with us as we figured out what to order. My fiance went with the Caesar salad. She was expecting a small, discreet one as it was part of their specials along with pizza and drink. But no this salad was enough for two! I went with the sweet heat. Hot honey on a Detroit style slice along with sausage and pepperoni. I was in heaven. Had it not been a day with more eating ahead I would've ordered another. My son got the classic triangle pepperoni slices and said it was the best pizza he's ever eaten. High marks from a pizza connoisseur. Also like to mention the restaurant tables were very tidy and well kept. Bathrooms super clean as well.

I'm always sus about detroit style (allot of places precook the bread and therefore you are eating pizza toast). And for 28 bucks for a roni, I'd be a bit pissed. BUT. I actually dont know if they are doing that and franky don't care because I could not detect it (and I can usually tell being that I'm a bread baker). That being said, the bread is bomb as hell quite enjoyable. Even cold. So. It's worth the price. They do brew their own beers but not at this location. This is a very casual space with a few tables out on their side and a very airy space inside. It shares the space with modern pizza business 'Bookie's'. I think the pics and reviews cross each other's Yelp pages, but I'm sure each business is ran by it's own people. But you do order anything through one central register/POS system, whether food or beer. I only had a short beer sampling here as I just couldn't pass up another opportunity of just driving past. Had plans for dinner later in the day so I didn't get to try Bookie's pizza, but there will be plans to return. The pizzas to be had here are not your conventional pizzas Americans associate with. They amusingly describe their pizzas as "unauthentic Detroit style". Lol. I saw a few go out and they are pricey ($30ish) for what seems like a size that 2 could split with zero leftovers. But they also elevate their ingredients like a mushroom and nettle version and another with Nduja, pineapple and anchovy, not for rigid unadventurous palates. But Sante Adairius brews some interesting brews. They do many in Belgium fashion but with Cali sensibilities. Saisons and sours many are aged in wooden barrels. I didn't try any of those...yet. They also do well made Cali-style heavily hopped brews. I did try a West Coast IPA and a Rustic Pils and was very satisfied. They were both very clean and true to style. I also loved how they offer a smaller glass as to make sampling more conducive. Think $9 for a full glass and $5 for the smaller glass which seemed bigger than most other places 'sampler' size. I just found out on their website that they have a tap room (different name) in Oakland, so I do have a closer outlet for me to try more of their brews. But this one in Santa Cruz is so chill and unique that next time I'm in town, I wouldn't hesitate in stopping by again.
