Although the pizza was very good, the amount of time it took to get our pizza was to say the least way too long!

Take-out service was great. I need to try the pizza again. I recently moved to L'brg from Brooklyn, so, well, you know.

I called in an order for a Calzone. Was told it would be a 30 min wait because it was a busier time. I showed up to pick up my order after 40 mins in order to give them more time to have my order ready. After 40 mins, I showed up and my order was not ready. In fact, it was completely forgotten about. The cashier asked me to wait for about 6-8 mins longer and then the order "should" be ready. After realizing that my order had not even been placed in the oven after waiting for over 40 mins, I decided to just leave. I've had the pizza from here before and I do not think it was worth the extended wait time. They can and should do better. Wasting a customer's time is highly disrespectful, and trying to cover up the fact that the order wasn't even started when I arrived was a big put off for me. 0/10 stars from this experience. read more

The staff was really friendly and helpful. I really loved the cheesy breadsticks they hit the spot. The pizza was super Rosemary but I think that was my mistake, I should have gone with the pesto...I think that's what my stomach was telling me but I didn't listen. These folks were the only place of two that were open in this town the day after Xmas. While it wasn't our first choice the server was very pleasant. The Stromboli was delicious. She kept up with our need for napkins and refills. The pizza eaters and sandwich consumers were super happy. The fries mac and cheese was beer battered and probably the best thing there. Wow I'm blown away I'm here for the PIAA swim meet and we just stopped by when we walked in we were a little worried because nobody was in there but when we ordered it was great we started for apps with mozzarella sticks and the fired mushrooms both were excellent. Very good pizza but nasty person on the phone taking the order. Was at a local hotel and called in an order for delivery. Pizza was very good, delvery was prompt and the delivery person was very nice. But, they need to tell the snotty guy that takes the phone orders to be nicer - I almost hung up the phone and said "forget the order". We stumbled upon this local pizza joint by accident. They were the only place that would deliver in the afternoon but much to my surprise the pizza was fantastic. They make their crust homemade every day and they were accomidating to the vegan and vegetarian with us. We travel all over the US and we all agreed that it was definetly one of the best we have encountered yet. We loved it so much we ordered it again before we left town. read more

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, ordered the taco pizza (which was missing from the menu, but which my teenage son had seen on the website). When we walked in, my expectations fell--the place could use a little maintenance (cracked floor tiles, etc.). But our experience was surprisingly good: quick, thorough, and attentive service. I expected paper plates--instead we got steel cutlery and ceramic plates. The pizza was large, relatively thin crust--good texture & flavor. 3 fountain drinks, large pizza, and tax--$26 (before tip). Great food, great service, great location. Amazing Thin cut pizza, highly recommended it. The only major problem I would have would be how the restaurant looked inside, it was a little dated and needed some maintenance. But really that isn't much of a problem at all. Had a long conversation with the owner, Rick the other day. Extremely friendly and outgoing guy who ensured that I felt welcomed and enjoyed my food. Driving from Baltimore to Upstate NY we needed a good quick place to eat. Many of the restaurants near Bucknell were closed on a summer Sunday night. We stumbled upon Pizza Phi and very happy we did. The salad was fresh cut romaine with freshly cut vegetables. The garlic knots were light and garlicky and the NY style pizza really lived up to expectations. Great NY style pizza. You can buy by the slice, which is a plus (and very NY!), so great for a quick lunch. Would expect the rest off the food to be good as well. Spoke with the new owner (since Nov 2010) and he believes that good ingredients make good food, and he is so right. Pizza had great flavor!! This spot will surely be packed with the Bucknell kids...good food, good prices and he takes campus dollars. My daughter is a freshman at Bucknell, so I know where I'll be coming for my pizza the next 4 years!! read more

I've been here twice now. The cheesesteak is great. Romaine lettuce is used instead of the old standard Iceberg. Tonight I ordered the fries with the cheesesteak sub. I must say I was disappointed in the fries simply because they were over salted. I had take out, otherwise I would have sent them back and asked for more unsalted. When I say over salted I mean I literally sat and used napkins to wipe the salt off before I could eat them and even now my lips are burning and starting to peel. By all means try the fries, just ask to have them served unsalted and add salt yourself. read more

That was horrible! I ordered a chicken wrap and luckily I cut in half before eating it. The lettuce was brown and slimy. The chicken was not anything close to fresh, dry and disgusting. The ketchup on the table even tasted off. The bill was $50 for 3 people at Lunch?! Horribly disorganized and loudly making it obvious that they were stressed and there were only two dine in customers! The server kept calling us honey and sweetheart- not ok!!! Passable if you're drunk, stoned, or strapped for cash. I'm surprised the ratings are as high as they are, because Pizza Phi is truly your run of the mill college town restaurant with greasy, low quality options. The people that work there are very nice but a little out there. I recommend the wrap selection and not ordering a pizza, as the pizza is really quite worse than what you can get down the street at Vennaris. The fact that the french fries are even subpar (soggy as all hell) tells you something. Still, the wraps are pretty good, and the owners are nice people. This was the worse place for food and service. We were looking forward to going and were sadly disappointed. First off, the wait staff do not write the orders down. Our waiter had to come back 4 times because he forgot what was ordered. Even after coming back to our table literally 4 times to ask about what we had ordered, he still forgot my daughter's fries. It then took almost 45 minutes until we got our food. All we ordered was a pizza and two subs. It SHOULD NOT have taken that long. The pizza was bland. I got a garden cheese steak and it had mayonnaise on one end, instead of throughout the entire length of the bun. And let me mention how small it was for the price I paid. It was literally a little bit longer than the length of a hot dog bun. I was still hungry after we left! Overall, terrible service and terrible food for the prices.
