Yes, yes, yes, I have been slacking with reviews lately but I promise I'm going to do better lol. I haven't been to this place in a very long time and I use to get it back when I was living in Providence like 8 years a go. On to the review! I placed a pick up order while stuck in this great traffic we have now because the great bridge. I walked in and was met by the friendly owner. I asked about the order and he politely said 10 minutes please. They had some nice music playing and the place was very clean inside also. The place is small with only 4 tables but I'm sure being a pizza place the majority of what they do is pick up and yes they do deliver. The first pie I tasted was the my classic go to Pizza Francesca. It was piping hot and had a nice crisp, the mushrooms and prosciutto seemed very fresh and the sauce had a very nice flavor profile to it. Yummy!!! The second pie was their Shrimp pizza, again hot and fresh and it has a very pleasant white sauce and the shrimp also tasted fresh. Yummy!! The third pie which is one of my favorites, the Cajun Chicken. This pie has so much great flavors between the spicy (not too spicy) bits of banana peppers and salty green olives and the awesome bbq sauce and the fresh chicken. Yummy!!!!! I think this pizza place is underrated and is a hidden gem on the east side of Providence. I did get to talk to the new owner as the place was sold to him 6 years ago and I gave him a compliment that the place hasn't changed at all because I have ordered from here maybe a year ago and everything was the same which is a great thing!!! If you want a consistent great pizza with a bunch of different fresh options to put on it then you have to order from here!!! Great job to the new owner! I will be back soon.

    Spinach Pie (half of one)

Ordered the spinach pie with cheese. There was so much spinach to this pie! I had to cut it in half, it was such a wealth of spinach. Can't find the cheese though, that was a small disappointment. The cost was bearable and the manager was friendly enough if a little harried, Friday night 7:30pm, delivery orders were going out as I picked up in the restaurant. The spinach was lightly seasoned and came with a small container of marinara. I will definitely go again. I'm back to say, I found the cheese, it was in my lactose intolerant partners box! Miss labeling the contents is a big oops for me. He couldn't eat his so I had to manage two full calzones in a short time, not favorable!

I had Pizza Pie-er located on Wickenden Street for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. Pizza Pie-er menu has appetizers, salads, calzones, wraps, speciality pizzas, lite-er pizzas that low in fat and high in protein, vegan and gluten free pizza, the option to create your own pizza, and dessert pies. There are 3 different pizza sizes-personal, medium, and large. Also, there are eleven different sauces to choose from and four types of crust. At 7:56pm, I used the website to put an order for pick-up. I was able to find street parking easily and walked in. On a Friday night, the staff were very busy. There were a few tables inside and they were occupied. The delivery man was running around. I went to the cashier to let him know I was here for pick-up, but he asked me politely to wait while he picked up the phone call. At 8:20pm, just waiting in the restaurant for a few minutes, I got my pizza box and the pizza smelled so good. I ordered a medium Pizza al Noci. This pizza has a whole wheat crust with walnut sauce, signature cheese blend, mushrooms and spinach. Walnut sauce is ground walnuts, olive oil, garlic and parmesan and we like all those so we thought we would try it. We did not regret our decision at all. This pizza was delicious. I am looking forward to trying their other speciality pizzas.

Pizza Pie-er is my favorite pizza spot on Wickenden. They're consistently good and everything they make is really great quality. Their dough and sauce are super flavorful as well. I also love that they're vegan friendly!

The crust had that perfect wood-fired char -- crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with just the right amount of crunch around the edges. The clam chowder side was such a Rhode Island/New England experience. Creamy, savory, loaded with seafood flavor, and topped with fresh herbs and potatoes that gave true chowder vibes in pizza form. Honestly, you can't come to Providence and not try chowder in every form possible! The meat lovers side was bold, hearty, and stacked with toppings. Pepperoni curled perfectly at the edges, sausage was flavorful, and every bite had the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and smoky meat flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed, modern, and perfect for casual dining with friends or family. Great food, great vibe, and definitely a spot worth revisiting while in Providence.

There was street parking and at the time, it was free. There were about 4 parties inside when we walked in, which gave us some time to think about which slices we wanted. We eventually went with the arugula, cranberry, balsamic drizzle, and I think feta along with the spicy sun dried tomato. The slices are pretty big and they do put them in the oven before handing them over. Each slice is about $4-$6, but you can also order whole pies. There was seating inside, but the air conditioning was too strong, so we found a table outside. Before stepping out, we poured ourselves cups of complimentary water. The crust is crispy and thin so you really get to taste all the toppings. The arugula one was really good. I enjoyed the different flavors: sweet, salty, creamy, acidic, and surprisingly, the arugula was not overly bitter. The sun-dried tomato one was also good. I am typically not a fan but this one was good since the tomato wasn't tough, or overly acidic. I would highly recommend Fellini's for great food at a good price. I would consider this location to be better for quick trips, or take out to eat the food at the Pedestrian bridge, but they do have another location in Cranston which is prettier and bigger for sit down, family style, and large groups.

The bartender barely made eye contact, and when I ordered a spicy tequila soda, I was served with Tajín sprinkled on top--not exactly what I'd expect for a spicy drink. The food was equally underwhelming. The pepperoni pizza came out with the pepperoni completely burnt. When we mentioned it, we were told that's simply how they prepare it, so keep that in mind if you order pizza here. The wings were decent and had a good amount of meat on them, but that was about the only highlight. The nachos arrived swimming in grease, making them difficult to enjoy, and the toppings were just average. The French fries were another issue--they appeared to have been cooked in the same fryer as seafood. This wasn't disclosed, and the fries came out tasting noticeably fishy. Thankfully, I don't have a seafood allergy, but that could be a serious concern for someone who does. The ambiance was fine, but overall the food and service left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

The guanciale paired with pecorino romano is bound to be on the saltier side, but I think the pasta could have been unsalted to balance it out a bit more. That said, the guanciale and pasta were delicious, perfectly cooked. You can tell they use quality, simple ingredients!
