Had been meaning to try them for a while, but I don't like going to the city that much due to parking and other assorted headaches. But, I was at Freeplay a couple blocks away, as I made the trek over. A decent pizza, probably overpriced for what you get. Light on the sauce, but I'm still going to give them a positive review overall.

    Chicken pesto

It met our needs, we were touring JWU and looking for a quick lunch. I had the eggplant Parmesan sandwich and my daughter had the chicken pesto sandwich. They were large sandwiches, so we both left full! It's a casual atmosphere and you clean off your table before you leave. Staff were friendly.

Their food is tasty and the order is always accurate. They have outdoor seating and space in the restaurant. The service is quiet and friendly staff!

The bad, bad Margherita Personal pizza that was delivered cold
    Ellie B.

The Margherita pizza I ordered was some bizarre salty concoction of what this pizza is supposed to be. See photo attached. It was also delivered cold and the business has done nothing to rectify the situation.

Very good gluten free pizza crust! It's cauliflower based and I got the chicken bacon ranch pizza. It was so good I forgot to take a photo until after I ate half of it

The food is absolutely amazing. The ambiance is great, service was amazing. The employees were kind, friendly, helpful, and loved on our pup outside. They even got our dog a bowl for water for her to drink outside while we ate at the outside patio. We enjoyed our time here everything we got tasted amazing. The chicken alfredo was delicious. The grilled chicken salad was awesome, the pizza outstanding. if you're in Providence, Rhode Island, you have to check out Down City Pizza and sandwiches it is worth it

Fantastic subs and great vibes! Perfect late night dinner after a show at the performing arts center down the street.

The service was fast and friendly here, I left with a very positive impression from that perspective. Our pizza was hot and right out of the over, certainly a good start. I just wish we liked the pizza more. One of our three ingredients was barely evident on the pizza, there were only a few mushrooms, and they were barely cooked. We also found the pizza to be doughy and chewy, which didn't appeal to us. And our pizza was supposed to be half mushroom and half meat, and that wasn't done correctly. The result wasn't good, nor was it terrible. So we thought this visit merited 3 a three-star rating.

Four Cheese Pizza...sorry, we dug in before we got the before picture! It was soooooo good!

Pizza, cheese bread and desserts were so good, we went three days in a row! The pizza crust and sauce were fantastic. Staff was super friendly!

I ordered for lunch on DoorDash for pickup. The restaurant had seating available and the cashier was nice. The Ceasar salad was so so good. The gyro was just ok - the chicken was lacking flavor and was a bit dry. The fries were really good though. Overall, should have probably tried something different as sandwiches and pizzas are their specialty. I would return and recommend.

    XL pepperoni pizza
    Andrew S.

Ordered from Ubereats. XL pepperoni and a spinach and cheese calzone. I was exhausted from work and just wanted a pizza. Did not expect it to be this good. Best pizza I've had since I was in Brooklyn a few months ago. If you like crispy NY pies, this is it. I like a crispy undercarriage but it was a tad burnt tbh, but overall so good I didn't care. Just a legit pie, well made with quality parts. Only other complaint was the XL looked like a large. I supposed they listed the inches but I didn't have my tape measure handy. The calzone was great, simple and well done. Haven't written a review in years but had to drop a 5 on this place bc it's criminally underrated on this app.

The crust had that perfect wood-fired char -- crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with just the right amount of crunch around the edges. The clam chowder side was such a Rhode Island/New England experience. Creamy, savory, loaded with seafood flavor, and topped with fresh herbs and potatoes that gave true chowder vibes in pizza form. Honestly, you can't come to Providence and not try chowder in every form possible! The meat lovers side was bold, hearty, and stacked with toppings. Pepperoni curled perfectly at the edges, sausage was flavorful, and every bite had the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and smoky meat flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed, modern, and perfect for casual dining with friends or family. Great food, great vibe, and definitely a spot worth revisiting while in Providence.

Their pizza is NY style thin crust (YUM) and though you can order a typical Margherita pizza, I highly suggest looking through the specialty pizza options. We got the G.O.A.T. Pizza which comes with mozzarella cheese, goat cheese, caramelized onions, herbs, and hot honey drizzle. It's even better than it sounds. This was the perfect combo of garlicky savory cheese and sweet honey with the tiniest kick. I could have eaten the entire large pizza on my own. I'm in RI for one more week and trust that I will order this again. I also got the 10 piece order of wings with BBQ sauce and was so pleasantly surprised to see it came on top of caramelized onions! It was there in the description, but I missed it. They were so good I was picking them out by hand and enjoying them. The wings were thick and full of meat. They had an option to get them extra well done, but I love exactly how they came regularly. I would definitely order these again. Overall, super impressed. Highly recommended!

There was street parking and at the time, it was free. There were about 4 parties inside when we walked in, which gave us some time to think about which slices we wanted. We eventually went with the arugula, cranberry, balsamic drizzle, and I think feta along with the spicy sun dried tomato. The slices are pretty big and they do put them in the oven before handing them over. Each slice is about $4-$6, but you can also order whole pies. There was seating inside, but the air conditioning was too strong, so we found a table outside. Before stepping out, we poured ourselves cups of complimentary water. The crust is crispy and thin so you really get to taste all the toppings. The arugula one was really good. I enjoyed the different flavors: sweet, salty, creamy, acidic, and surprisingly, the arugula was not overly bitter. The sun-dried tomato one was also good. I am typically not a fan but this one was good since the tomato wasn't tough, or overly acidic. I would highly recommend Fellini's for great food at a good price. I would consider this location to be better for quick trips, or take out to eat the food at the Pedestrian bridge, but they do have another location in Cranston which is prettier and bigger for sit down, family style, and large groups.

The bartender barely made eye contact, and when I ordered a spicy tequila soda, I was served with Tajín sprinkled on top--not exactly what I'd expect for a spicy drink. The food was equally underwhelming. The pepperoni pizza came out with the pepperoni completely burnt. When we mentioned it, we were told that's simply how they prepare it, so keep that in mind if you order pizza here. The wings were decent and had a good amount of meat on them, but that was about the only highlight. The nachos arrived swimming in grease, making them difficult to enjoy, and the toppings were just average. The French fries were another issue--they appeared to have been cooked in the same fryer as seafood. This wasn't disclosed, and the fries came out tasting noticeably fishy. Thankfully, I don't have a seafood allergy, but that could be a serious concern for someone who does. The ambiance was fine, but overall the food and service left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

You walk into the space & the first thing you see is a gauntlet with swinging "axes" that you need to run through without getting hit! I kinda wish everyone had to do it to gain access but it is one of the many fun games/adventures from Level99. The special menu was $25 for a pizza & 2 beverages. Upon recommendation of our delightful server Kobe, we opted for the Hot Mess: ezzo cupping pepperoni, piri-piri sauce, fresnos, queso fresco. Pizza is Detroit style & the edges were perfection, I could have used a bit more sauce but the piri-piri drizzle was fire. We both had a glass of wine. We were in the mood for a nightcap. I selected a coffee stout, Jolly Woodsman by Banded Brewing. Our server asked if I wanted a taste before ordering a glass, I was happy that I took him up on the offer - it wasn't my favorite. I was laughing with him that hubby & I are beer weirdos - we like the lightest & the darkest beers. He offered to bring me a taste of the Night Shift Brewing's Imperial stout, Dynasty. And along with that, he also brought the two lightest Night Shift Brewing beers. We loved all three of them! I would definitely go back for the pizza & the beer but the games are calling my name!
