I'm a huge fan of Pizza Pirates! I placed an order on Friday for a Monday delivery, and they arrived right on time. The pizza was fresh and absolutely delicious. The crust is so good, thick and airy with a great texture. They also always put plenty of ingredients on the pizza, which makes every slice really satisfying. This is my go-to spot whenever I want to treat my employees to pizza. Everyone always enjoys it, especially the Bucko and the Hawaiian, both are so good! If I could give them ZERO stars, I would!!!! We order from here frequently. Sometimes it's a hit or miss. Today, we ordered over the phone and soon after, we got a call from them. We would answer and the line would hang up. It repeatedly did that. So we called and the guy we spoke to over the phone brushed it off and hung up on my husband. So my husband called back and while we're on hold, they were calling on the other line. A guy by the name of John told my husband no one was calling him and we told him it could be their system and if they could check. John said no big deal. And when he went to hang up the phone, he said "what an effin idiot" (towards my husband). I'm literally beside myself. Sometimes these ppl can be downright rude but I disregard it. The pizza was good but I order extra cheese and pepperoni and they ended up putting it on my wife's pizza instead so that bummed me out . The cheese bread and the strawberry sticks were ok . I had no idea what to order since it was my first time. I wanted something spicy and with alot of meat. I ordered a Medium Quarterdeck and a Greek side salad with Ranch. This pizza exceeded my expectations! I dont think I could ever again eat any other brand of pizza but Pizza Pirates !! Even the salad was amazing Tasted so fresh and they even added a bunch of mushrooms i didn't even know Greek salads had mushrooms in it!! It was delicious . I am so upset right now. I have always ordered from this location, usually for delivery because I have little ones. I am currently on a business trip and I went to order my babies pizza for dinner. Due to traveling and being a bit tired I typed in the wrong address and unfortunately I put my dads phone number rather than my mom who is with my kids. I take ownership for the confusion. But what upset me is that when I called to rectify the situation I was met on the other end by an employee whose tone was extremely aggressive and agitated (again I take ownership and I apologized) . I requested if I could replace the order and they stated no the card now needs to be present ( which I was not and could not be). I need to check that I was refunded for the original order and I most certainly will not be ordering from this location ever again (I don't know if I even want to ever eat at a Pirates again). I can only hope that after they read this review that they can be a bit more empathetic, no one is frauding for pizza. read more

Pizza pirates has never met me Down. One time they gave out order to someone else and they immediately redid our order and they couldn't stop apologizing. The food has always been delicious. I wasn't sure where to get pizza, but when you're craving it, you just have to have it. I found a local spot only about 1.5 miles from where I live and decided to have it delivered. They were a bit pricey, but once I took the first bite, the pizza spoke for itself. The price didn't even matter at that point -- when something tastes that good, price doesn't exist! Customer service was excellent, too. The staff was very attentive and made sure I felt taken care of right away. I highly recommend this place -- it's worth every buck. read more

Even though I got home and scarfed my pizza, I had to call Pizza Pirates off of Mountain in Philadelphia and tell them what a phenomenal job they did on the pizza that I ordered for the first time. I've ordered from them many times before and their crust is incomparable and amazing. It is crispy and fluffy, but I decided to order a different pizza from my norm tonight . I am literally blown away! All these years, I've been talking about this pizza place in Whittier that had this homemade Alfredo sauce and how much it elevated the pizzas that it came on. Y'all let me tell you.... This Pizza Pirates location is in walking distance from me and I will never , and I mean never order anywhere else as long as I am near Pizza Pirates. Tonight I went on their website and they advertised this Jacobs ladder pizza. I've been eyeballing it the last few times I've ordered from them but tonight I was like I'm gonna treat myself. I customized it though because I have acid reflux problems so instead of the marinara sauce, they use on their pizzas. I opted for their house made Alfredo sauce on my Jacob's ladder and had the crust brushed with their garlic butter. Let me put it this way... You know when you walk into most pizza places and it's got that classic and amazing smell of fresh dough and spices and all the fixings and that's the smell that you want to be tasting but often times you're left disappointed because your food did not taste as good as the restaurant smelled? I can promise you if you order this pizza the same way I ordered it, you will be in heaven from the delicious aromas and when you take that first bite, you will literally feel like you're in heaven. Damn, I just wasted $40 on this pizza and bread sticks. I always order from here too so this is a total bummer. I place my order at 2:30pm. It says my order would be ready between 3:09-3:17. I get there at 3:15 and the place is dead. Like there's no customers, it's not busy at all which is a surprise. So I knew right away that my food was made right away and had been sitting there for that entire 35-40 minutes. Sure enough. I get home and the food isn't even hot. It's room temperature. First time trying them out . We ordered a small pepperoni with 10 mild wings for pick up. Order was done at a timely manner, when I got home it was still very hot. The pizza was perfectly baked and the bread taste really good. Size wasn't too bad for the price ether. For the wings I had to subtract a star as they were the greasiest wings I have ever ate. As you can see in the picture there's no sauce on my mild wings and it's sitting in a pool of grease. I wonder if the sauce is cooked with the wings and that's where the grease comes from or if they put oil to cook the wings ? Not sure but I think if you want mild wings you should ask for the sauce on the side or the flavor of your wings will just be grease. The wings themselves after cleaning them were good and their ranch cups were a good portion . I don't think I'll order from them again as I usually like to order wings with my pizza. read more

I have visited both locations, East and West, however I keep coming back to the east location, as it is less crowded and usually faster delivery with the same quality as the west. Ordered Pirates Pizza for the third time this month and as usually, this location is fast and they are very generous with the toppings. My favorite part is that they ASK You if you want cheese and pepper, unlike other location who don't offer any at all or don't provide it unless you ask. This location will continue to receive my business as my experienced have been very pleasant. Pizza quality is great and pricing is even better. Our pizza had 12 toppings for only $25 and it was an XL pizza. You can't beat that anywhere else. Recommend! read more
