Anyway fast forward to the next morning both my husband and my stomach hurt soooo bad ALL DAY and their pizza was the only meal that we had together all day. There's something about pizza on a cold fall afternoon. With my pizza craving in full effect I decided to come here and I'm certainly happy I did. When I walked in, I was greeted by the staff at the register, warm smiles and cheerful people made for a nice welcoming. Very neat and clean location. The line wasn't long so I was able to order quickly. I love that I can customize my pizza and add all the toppings that I loooovveee! From veggies to meats they have you covered! Today's experience left a very disappointing impression. We didn't even get past the sauces on the pizza before issues began. When we mentioned we had a birthday coupon but wanted to upgrade to a thick crust, we were told there would be an upcharge -- which we agreed to. However, when we asked about the crust, we were told both were thin. After clarifying that we wanted one thin and one thick, the staff member sighed heavily and slowly went to get the thick crust. I ordered garlic butter and pesto sauces, which she allowed. But when it came to my husband's pizza, he asked for butter and garlic butter -- the way he has always ordered it -- and was told only one sauce was allowed. When he asked if this was a new policy, the employee insisted it had always been that way. After requesting a manager, we received the same response: "We have always only allowed one sauce." We've been loyal customers of Pieology since it first opened and have visited the Chino location many times, always enjoying the ability to create pizzas exactly how we like them. I've been going here for a long time and often. It is probably the best store out of all the other Pieology's. The manager or owner was always very kind and willing to help me make my pizza perfect for my family. I went to pieology with my girlfriend and as someone who savors pizza very often, I was looking forward to some nice hot pizza. Upon entry, I was warmly greeted by a few workers and I asked for a custom, build-your-own pizza. One of the worker named Joshua, gave me generous toppings of cheese, veggies, and meats and by the time I was done adding everything I wanted, my pizza was loaded. My girlfriend also got a similar pizza as I did and she also got a very generous amount of toppings. After baking it, Joshua put in the perfect amount of BBQ and Ranch dressing that I wanted and the slices he cut were so neat and organized. And the crusts weren't burnt either which is quite rare. I  give the service and food a 5/5, but unfortunately, the bathrooms were locked when I needed to urgently relieve myself after such a hearty meal, making my review a 4.5/5. I was craving pizza so came here for dinner and sadly, this place went downhill since my last visit. As soon as I walked in the restaurant, I felt so stuffy like there was no air circulation. Then I ordered a custom salad, the girl who prepared the salad seems doesn't care about what she's doing. She was wearing gloves while making the salad and when she's done, instead of taking off her gloves (like in most places do), and cover my salad and put it to the side, she did not take off her gloves! So all over my salad container is just dirty and oily from all the toppings that she put in it. Can someone please teach her how to serve food properly??? Then the guy asked what kind of dressing I want and I asked what are my choices and he doesn't have any clue what options do they offer ... for salad dressing. I think that's pretty basic question. Then I ate my pizza and salad. I kid you not, it tastes horrible. My salad doesn't taste fresh and the mushroom is old, as in pics. The pizza itself, lack of flavor. The marinara sauce is just blah and the toppings are mediocre. On top of that, they charged me for ranch dressing for $1. I have always driven by hear and finally decided to give this pizzeria a shot. The staff were very friendly and knew how to make a decent quality pizza. If you want the best experience with Pieology I would recommend getting their option of customizing your own pizza. 100% worth the price. When it comes to the ambiance of the establishment the restaurant itself is clean and well lit. From what I have seen I had no issues with the tables or the seating. They were clean and thats all that mattered. Out of stars I would have to give them 4 out of 5 stars. Keep up the great service. read more

I have been visiting this store ever since they first open, quite a while back maybe around 2012 or 2014 ish? No more indoor dining, but the outdoor area is kept clean and shaded. Still the worse after 5 years of writing this review. I gave this restaurant so many chances. The online ordering is a waste of time because even if you place the online order and get to the restaurant, your order isn't even ready at the estimated time. I put in an order online at 12:47pm on 7/23/25, it said estimated time for it to be ready is 1:06pm to 1:16pm. I get to the restaurant at 1:06pm and the girl Hannah said my order isn't ready yet and it would be a minute. I stood there waiting and still no order. I notice the lady who was paying when I got there got her pizza before me. That's when I was already frustrated and asked Alan how many more minutes for my order and when he went to check..Alan, Hannah, and another guy who I didn't get the name were looking at a receipt and going back forth to the oven as if my order wasn't made. At this point I was already waiting more than 10 mins and said to them if my order wasn't made then I need a refund. Then they said no it's cooking it took long because of the rush and the other guy said we need to take care of the customers who come in first. And then Hannah kept giving me a dirty look the whole entire time and started to make me feel uncomfortable. At this point I was upset and tired of the excuses. What's the point of having online ordering if they're going to be taking care of the customers who come in when an online orders has been put in and come in to pick up my order and not have it ready by the estimated time..just like that lady who was paying and waiting for her pizza to be made when I got there and she got her pizza before me. Shouldn't they have someone doing online orders and then another person do in restaurant orders so there isn't a mess. I've seen it before where they made me wait and not order yet when I went into the restaurant because they were taking care of an online order first. They also said oh it depends on the topping as well, which to me doesn't make any sense. When I finally got my pizzas, as I always check because this restaurant has messed up on my order before..the pizzas were all wrong and not even done right. I was so annoyed and upset I left and the time I left the store was around 1:20pm. Also, I told Alan that I don't appreciate Hannah giving me these dirty looks and he said he was going to talk to her. As I was checking my pizza, I didn't even see Alan pull Hannah to the side to tell her anything as if her behavior was ok. This place needs to do better with their online orders and customer service. My partner and I visited this location after having a terrible experience with the location on Rio Rancho Rd. The staff was so much more friendlier and the manager as well. We made sure to tip them generously and thank them for their kindness and great service. If you live in the Pomona area, please visit this location. I love Pieology! This particular location is much smaller than some of the others I have patronized, but they did get the job done regardless. Our visit was during the Covid mess, and the line was long. The wait, however, was worth it. Pieology has a host of toppings (both vegetables and meats) to choose from. I think it's the buttered well done thin crust that makes it special. If you prefer a more solid crust, you should order well done or extra well done. As indicated above, Pieology was packed. The staff stayed cool during the rush and were friendly and professional. Before I knew it, my hot piping pizza was ready.
