3 stars for having PacMan. Ambiance is kind of cool. It's like an old high school hang out type place. It's called Pizza Place, we ordered a large pizza and wings.Pretty normal, but red flag when they have empty parm jars and toss you store bought packets. Pizza was just ok. Crust was like a bland saltine cracker. The wings..ugh the wings. Raw. Floppy raw skin. Ordered extra cooked, crispy. Delivered to the table and I looked at them and immediately asked for an extra cook. They brought the same ones back in five minutes with no extra cook. Gross. I will not be back, nor recommending this place. It's basic stuff. It's called the pizza place. Their pizza is boring and their basic wings are a disaster. They could improve 1000% overnight if they gave a sh*t, but clearly they don't. Maybe ring a bell for service since everyone that works there disappears when customers arrive. read more

Second time here, 1st time was maybe 6yrs ago.. hole in the wall places are the best lol.. My husband got the roast beef poboy because well I'd they have it that's all he will order I went with the muffuletta and even at $16.00 for it I knew it would take me days to finish it. Naturally I ate 1 of the cut quarters and was stuffed. It was huge and just as any place I've had them at in NOLA!! My husbands poboy was outstanding and tender, his only complaint was they could have added more meat. He just wanted more. I love the inside as it reminds me of a "little Italy" type place and they also have a small game room with a few eating tables in there so you could watch your kids play games. read more

We opted for a local pizza joint rather than the big box brands, and the Pizza Place did not disappoint. We called in for a couple of pizza and was ready after a short 5-minute wait. The staff were nice and the pizza was good. Hubby forgot that their BLT pizza was good, so we missed out on ordering it, but we enjoyed the pepperoni. read more

The first time I tried this place it was ok. Nothing remarkable but not bad either. Today I decided to give them another try. I ordered a Medium Watson Supreme. The aroma in my car while driving home had my mouth watering! They were generous with the toppings (I wish it had more green olives but I'm a green olive freak so there's that) I will definitely go back! read more

We love Pizza Place. The employees have always been very nice, & the food arrives timely & delicious! (I've never eaten inside, have only had it delivered.) My husband loves their muffalata & we are both obsessed with their bacon cheeseburger pizza. It is divine! I love that they have more to offer, than just pizza! You can have burgers or poboys delivered, without the added waitr fees. Highly recommend this place! read more

Came here because I was working on the Espresso Geaux mobile truck! We were there this morning at the Beignet Brunch featuring Espresso Geaux. A wonderful customer brought us hot fresh beignets! They were fresh, hot, covered in powdered sugar oh my! We couldn't stop eating them!!! We stayed there for lunch after we were done working. We had pepperoni pizza, chicken bacon ranch pizza, catfish, fries and Mac n cheese. The pizza as well as catfish was bomb!! I found my new little pizza spot! It's an adorable small mom n pop shop with super nice people. You order at the counter and fix your own drinks. They have a variety of choices on the menu. They even have cauliflower crust ! Update: I've tried a few other items. The muffuletta and the seafood muffuletta are so delicious. Roast beef poboys are also on point. The chef salad is huge and I enjoy the honey mustard dressing. Still also has great pizza read more

Another disappointing night. Last time it was the wrong pizza and we let it slide. This time we placed an order, even had short convo about what comes on one particular pizza, was told it would be ready in 25 mins. Get there and there's no order in system and basically told sorry about that. They still had about 40 mins before they closed and didn't even offer to go ahead and make it. Boooo read more

The price of the food that we received today was Insane. The two shrimp poboys together had a total of 14 shrimp. Two tomatoes per sandwich. The onion rings was soggy. For a total of almost 33.00. I wanted to try this place since moving to watson 5 year ago and kept hearing not so great things about it. But since our favorite Poboy express was closed today we gave it a try. Very good pizza. Very tasty sauce and if you're in the mood for a sub, they have those too. I recommend the shrimp poboy. Delicious.

It is decent pizza at a decent price. I really like the cheese, it has a very distinct taste to it...unlike anything I've ever tasted. The sauce has a good hearty tomato flavor that goes along with the taste of the cheese. The crust is probably the worst part of the pizzas, it does not have the texture that you would expect of a pizza crust (no chewiness or flavor) and it kind of tastes like a large piece of flatbread. Used to go to this place all the time and it was great, must have changed something with the crust over the years. read more

Ordered food at 6:40. Got there at 7:00 to pick up. Didn't even up leaving until 7:25. They tried to overcharge me, then when I corrected them they said it was only a $0.50 difference. The total went from $34 something to only $28.35. So more like a $6.00 difference but acted like it wasn't a big deal. Then when I asked what was taking so long they had forgotten to cook a whole meal that Was on my order. NEVER apologized. NEVER offered me anything. But they did offer another guy that was in there before me a free drink for taking so long! Sure would've been nice. I will NOT be going back! Also, got home & my pizzas are cold & my salad looks disgusting. read more

One of my favorite pizza shops. Me and my wife never order from dominoes or papa johns by the house, it is always pizza place. After I got through today running some errands I stopped in for lunch. I normally order delivery but went into there store today and had a roast beef poboy. It was at that moment when I took my first bite I realized not only did they have good pizza but also an amazing roast beef sandwich. Love that I support a local small business when I go here , and also the fact that it is so delicious. If you have never tried it, give it shot. This is a great little hole in the wall restaurant and the name "pizza place" is deceiving because they serve some delicious burgers and chicken fingers! People are always friendly and food is always fresh, I got the chicken fingers this time and they were delicious and served with their version of canes sauce which was great! read more

I used to go here all the time. Loved the food. Until recently I ordered something when the delivered it it was so bad I couldn't eat it. I called them back to let them know and to see if the manager would let me get something else. They never called back. When I called they said the manager wasn't there. So I let my mom call back and she asked for the manager and they put her on. She was very rude and said yes she got the message(and couldn't bother to even call me back) and no I couldn't get something else and if the food came out bad it wasn't her fault. The pizza has been the same consistently, but I ordered a shrimp poboy about a month ago and it was great, on par with Story's, but our recent order was awful. The shrimp were the weird Chinese shrimp, and our chicken was completely pink and rubbery. The shrimp in our shrimp salad were baby shrimp and were soaked in salt and not edible. I don't think we will be ordering anything other than the pizza again. read more
