"Solid pizza, fun atmosphere, and the Krewe steals the show!" I've been to Rotolo's a few times now, and it's definitely one of those places that just gets the job done. The pizza is solid--crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and quick service--but I really have to talk about The Krewe. We tried the Krewe calzone and the Krewe cheesesticks, and honestly, they're the highlight of the menu. The calzone is stuffed with pepperoni, bacon, and cheeses that melt into a delicious mess, and the cheesesticks have that perfect balance of savory goodness. You have to get them if you go. The ambiance is fun--casual, with a good vibe for hanging out with friends or family. The service was friendly, but it took a little longer than I expected for our food to come out. My fiancée and I are in Baton Rouge for the weekend visiting her brother and this was the first restaurant we tried when we got to our AirBnB. We got our food from DoorDash and the delivery was fast and easy. My fiancée got the garlic parmesan bites with marinara sauce and I got the chicken Alfredo pizza; since that is my favorite pizza tied with an Hawaiian pizza. This was my wife and I's first visit to this Rotolo's and we loved it. It's our tradition to always go for my birthday pizza on my birthday and today was no different. As soon as we sat down, our server, Katelyn, was there to take our drink orders. We started out with the original breadsticks and boy were they good. I love the sauce at Rotolo's. It's on the sweet side and pairs well with the breadsticks. For our pizza, we branched out and tried something different than our normal pepperoni pizza. We got the Meat Feast Pizza and it was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was hot. Katelyn did such a great job of making us feel welcome and to my surprise, started singing Happy Birthday to me. Okay, maybe she didn't sing, but she did make our experience very pleasant. We'd dropped in for the calzone deal. The last time we were here it was $5.99 now it's $6.99. It still saves you a few bucks, so it gets my vote. When we arrived we were advised to seat ourselves and of course avoid tables marked for social distancing. So, that was a plus! We ordered the wings, an all meat calzone, kid's macaroni and cheese and a ceaser salad. The calzone was honestly more bread than cheese and meat. We will definitely just stick to the pizza next time. The kid's macaroni was made up of penne noodles and melted cheese. My son enjoyed them. Anything with cheese piled on gets his vote. The ceaser dressing was yummy. I would honestly love to have some in my home fridge! The wings arrived cold. The waitress mentioned they are cooked early and reheated. Never fails always have the worst service imaginable here. They really need to get their staffing situation fixed. Beer on tap is hot, server didn't bother asking to see if I wanted a different beer. I'm assuming she's new because of how awkward this whole experience is up to this point. I ordered a calzone and the dough was still raw same with the pizza my girlfriend ordered. i normally have good experience at this rotolos but today me and my sister walked in and weren't greeted, then we sat down for 10 mins waiting for our menus and we never got them and wasn't spoken to,, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they were busy but other people that came in after me got their menus and their drinks and everybody was just standing around while me and my sister were waiting on our menus, but we ended up leaving after 10 minutes and we're taking our money elsewhere. read more

I had a non-traditional pizza (the Popeye with shrimp added and minus the red peppers) on whole wheat crust, which was tasty. The walnut cranberry salad was also good. Terrible overpriced pizza. I Ordered a shrimp pizza and several of the shrimp had the shells on them. Our bill was over $30 and I didn't even get to eat supper. I came here years ago and wanted to come back but I will never come here again. I don't really care for country music and the country music was blaring. If you want a LOUD atmosphere, kids running around like they are in Chucky Cheese and mediocre food/service...this is right up your alley. We went last week (Fri) and it was not pleasant. Don't order beer in a bottle either, had to send 2 back due to being skunked (cold,hot and cold again). They really need to keep on top of freshness. Our waitress took forever to come around. The Chalmette cheese sticks are my favorite, they have hot sauce and four or five cheeses! Sooo good! Their salads are always fresh and their pizza crust is nice and chewy but lacking in flavor. This location has the coziest, most comfortable environment of any of the surrounding Rotolos. However, the service at this location is terrible. They are friendly but they don't pay much attention to you.The last two times I went here with my family the waiter failed to bring refills or the check! We have had to chase him down to ask for the check twice. Good place to feed your family but don't expect too much from the staff! read more

When the waitress arrived she took our order and returned with our food. She spilled a large glass of water on me. This is the best Rotolos location by far! We go a few times a week. Every single Wednesday, $6 calzones & domestic pitchers are $5 craft beer pitchers are $7-$9. They have the best beer selection of any restaurant in Livingston Parish by far! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Chad is an amazing manager who truly cares about his customers!
