The strawberry daiquiri was my favorite but I decided to get all of the flavors mixed. The lime pina colada was also really good. In between attending the LSU baseball game and the Gymnastics meet. We stopped at Fat Boys Pizza for a bite to eat on campus. We had looked online at the menu so we could make our order quickly but the menu online and the menu in the actual place is not the same. So we had to spend time deciding what we wanted again. This place is COOL. This location is right across from the LSU Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. You walk in & see nothing but cool, interesting sports related decor. I can easily see this being the go to place to eat and hang out during sports season. Chad assisted my boyfriend and I when it came to what to order. The best lunch special around! I got half a slice of cheese pizza, a full Caesar salad and drink for just about $10! It was such a steal and delicious. Fat Boys is located right near my work, so I thought why not stop in for lunch. I had no idea they had a frat lunch specials, so I decided to get that! I was excited to try this place, but it's awful. I ordered their 2x anniversary special and a side of fat yays. The pizza was absolutely abysmal, genuinely the worst I've ever had anywhere. When I opened the boxes, the pizza in both was all squished up like it was haphazardly thrown in. The crust is overly thin and hard, the cheese seemed to want to get divorced from it (it barely stayed on), and there was some leafy green topping I didn't order that was inside some of the slices. I was hoping the fat yays would be good, and they were admittedly until I had a second one. Raw dough in the middle. I really hope I don't get sick from that. Visited here over the weekend. The slices were huge, it's basically a slice shop. I had a slice of cheese and and slice of pepperoni. Both were good, but I preferred the cheese. Overall quality is above average. Each slice is reheated in the oven when ordered. I was not impressed with the garlic parmesean wings, flavor wasn't there and to boot they were served in a pool of oil. Not to my liking. The establishment was clean and personnel friendly. My pizza was slightly dried out when I ate it, but that could be from me getting takeout and driving home before eating it (Even though it was a short drive). It does seem like the pizza is made from quality materials. Price: It is pricey. My family got three pieces of pizza (cheese, barbecue, and trinity) and ranch and ended up paying $25. So. Julie heard about Joey Chestnut eating a two foot slice of pizza at Fat Boys in 40 seconds and we had to try this location. There was a Mardi Gras parade that we didn't know about in the way so it took some doing to get here. It's clean, nice location if you are going to LSU. Good sized menu. There we're family's there, kids just having fun. A lady was in with five or six boys around 10, birthday party, they all stood around a 30 inch pizza for a picture. There's several TVs showing sports but they only had two channels going. The staff was on the spot explained everything to Julie, who asks a lot of questions. The pizza is very good, down side is the toppings are sparse, and at this price point they should be very heavy indeed. The knots were better than average and their pizza sauce is really good. I found both the pizza and meatballs to be too salty. The pizza was huge, just as advertised but... meh in flavor. I also wish the pizza had more bacon and that the bacon more evenly spread out. The wings and sauce were great. I prefer when the wings are tossed in the sauce instead of giving you sauce for dipping. The sauce was delicious and unique though. We're a pizza-loving family, and my boys couldn't resist the lure of a pizza place named "Fat Boys." We went for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn't super crowded, and it was a nice day, so we took advantage of outdoor seating. My husband and boys ordered slices, and I got a stromboli. Service was pretty quick, and portions were generous. My stromboli was just the right size - I could eat it all without feeling overly stuffed. My husband and younger son each ate one slice and said it was plenty. My older son (who's 18) ate two slices and said he wasn't going to want dinner. FROSE DAIQUIRI: the frose daiquiri was super yummy, but a daiquiri is hard to mess up, especially in louisiana! my friends and i really liked this daiquiri and the 32 oz was perfect for us to split between 3 people. the thing is though, you can get a good daiquiri from other places too, like new orleans daiquiris, and it would probably be cheaper than the one we got from fat boy's :/ i'm not sure that i would want to visit fat boy's again, unless there aren't other options available - like if torchy's is packed again LOL read more

Husband and I enjoyed the 16" Fat Boy Supreme pizza ($24.99) and an order of wings in Fat Boy Sauce (6 for $8.25). The wings were baked, not fried so the skin did not have the texture I prefer and the Fat Boy sauce tasted very similar to Buffalo sauce. I am wondering if it was Buffalo sauce and perhaps there was a miscommunication somewhere? That being said, they tasted really good. I enjoyed them. Pizza was also delicious with plentiful topping coverage. When debating on how many stars to give, what pushed this review from a three star rating to a four was the service. The gentleman that delivered our pizza and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed gave such welcoming guest interaction that went above and beyond the casual atmosphere of the restaurant. They also have a full service bar and a selection variety on the menu that includes sandwiches, salads, meatballs, pretzels etc. if you are looking for something different.
