2nd time eating here, but there will be more! I got the pepperoni pizza, cheese bread, gluten free pizza, and an apple dessert pizza and it was all amazing! The pepperoni pizza tasted hearty and wholesome. The sauce and pepperoni had a little kick, but I wouldn't call it spicy. The crust looks made from scratch/in house and has just enough sweetness in it to eat the crust. The gluten free pizza was really good (per my wife). The crust was thick (as thick as my regular pizza) and was just as soft. I tasted a piece and it tasted really good. The cheese sticks were top notch! Super crispy crust and cheese (in a good way). Lastly, the dessert pizza was obviously amazing. I got apple. Only wish there were a little more apples, but still good. Service was good, as they greeted me right away. Mixed review time! Today was my first time trying Pizza Ranch. We ordered take out on a whim after going to Meijer which is basically in the same parking lot. We ordered a deal which consisted of a large pizza, cheesy bread sticks, cactus bread, and I also got 5 chicken strips. It all came out to about $40 which is what I would gladly pay at Jets or somewhere local maybe. The pizza: So I didn't try it. My family said it was 0/10, a $5 Hot and Ready would have been better. They were not pleased. The cheese sticks were pretty good. Jet's cheese sticks are still better. I give those a 5/10. The chicken strips were pretty delicious. 8/10. I'm giving the cactus bread a 15/10. Remember back in the old days when Papa John's had dessert pizza? This is better than that. This is worth breaking my weight watchers. This is the reason I will not meet my fitness goals in 2022. Okay okay jk. Maybe I'll start Orange Theory so I can eat Cactus bread every week. Who knows. It's an AYCE pizza buffet for the budget crowd. Sure, you'll find gourmet pies elsewhere that you'll like better, but Pizza Ranch does a solid job of filling you up with a meal that won't leave you sorry you visited. Where PR really scores is their service. I've been to this location at least ten times. Each time the staffer assigned to our table refilled drinks, brought made to order pizzas over (more on that in a second), and cleared the dirty dishes. If you don't like any of the pizzas sitting on the buffet, you can request they make one special for you. Sky's the limit on topping combos. You want macaroni and pineapple on your pizza? I don't, but they can accommodate. If you'll eat it, they'll make it. Pro tip 1: Try their pretzel crust. It's actually salted on the rim like, you know, a pretzel. We had them make a traditional meat lovers on that pretzel crust. I'd eat it again. I also enjoy three or four of the cheesy breadsticks, complete with marinara sauce for dipping. In addition to the pizza there's also a modest traditional buffet containing sides like corn, mashed potatoes, and green beans. But the star here is PR's fried chicken. Maybe I'm too easy to please, but I respectfully disagree with the reviewers below who dinged the fried chicken. It hands down beats any other buffet chicken I've had. I prefer thighs, and PR's are juicy, fall off the bone, tender with a light and crispy skin. It's absolutely no worse than your local fast food chicken joint. What's wrong with liking both? Again, remember your setting. It's a buffet. You're not paying an arm (wing?) and a leg. I think we can cut some slack. Pro tip 2: Check online or your weekly mailers for coupons. But beware, sometimes these coupons require a weekday visit. read more

Achh. Hard review to post because people obviously liked the food. We ordered ahead and upon entering saw most tables were not bussed, and those that were basically just had a wet rag run over them. Patrons, including me, were cleaning their own tables. Pic 2 shows tables next to us as they were when we entered. 20 minutes later, a girl cleared the dishes away, ran a wet rag over half the table and left it there. She had not returned by the time we left 25 minutes later. Pic 4 Management needs to step up in a big way. There are enough employees, but they aren't trained/overseen in their prospective roles well enough. None knew the address here, even though the address is at the top of every receipt. Continuing this review after several days of thinking about how to write it, I believe this is an owner problem. Either he/she isn't knowledgeable about restaurant management, or he/she is absent, trusting a manager who isn't doing the job. The windows, floors, tables all needed cleaning, but employees were standing around talking at the kitchen without direction as to what needed to be done. We paid $47.67 for our dinner tonight and it was nasty. no one ever came together up any of our plates. there was barely any pizza up at the buffet. Wonderful buffet! My boyfriend took me here and I was not disappointed on my experience! Very clean and organized. I was however expecting a much bigger buffet table but the fried chicken made up for it! I heard wonderful things about the chicken and how unique the pizza is. My wife and I visited the Pizza Ranch today and it was a full house. You would expect staff to be stressed, but all of them had smiles and looked like they loved their jobs. First time eating here tonight... I ordered out for delivery. I seen online that they closed at 7pm. I placed my order at 5:50pm. A little over an HOUR later still no food. So I gave them a call & was very rudely told that he was surprised my order even went through because they closed their delivery down online. My family and I went here tonight for the first time. It was amazing. It wasn't just pizza but they had a salad bar, fried chicken, and all the fixings. Dessert was fantastic. Prices weren't bad at all either. For 3 of us we spent $30 and that included drinks and dessert. Some of the best chicken I have ever had. Weird that it came from a pizza place. Everthing I tried was amazing.

The chicken is amazing and the mashed potatoes and gravy are so good. Maybe not home cookin' good, but as far as restaurant quality goes right at the top of the list! The salad bar was nice, they have a salad with feta, dried cranberries and candied pecans that was incredible! We had some broccoli cheese soup (needed salt, that may be personal preference though) but otherwise was good-at least you could see actually pieces of broccoli, so I enjoyed it! Really, though, with a name like Pizza Ranch, the pizza has to be the star, and it was! For the type of pizza it is it definitely holds it's own! I love that if there is a pizza you would like not on the buffet, you can order it and when it is finished they bring it to your table for the first slices! So neat, and no worry about not getting what you want! Dessert pizza was great, the "cactus bread" don't look like much but taste wonderful...do not judge that book by it's cover! The price is very fair considering everything is included in the price, including the drinks! It was just around $30 for a group of 3, but we left so full we did not eat again all day! Finally had an opportunity to visit. Party of five , we all did the buffet. Pizza was OK, I think the cheese sticks were better than the pizza. Salad bar was just OK, nothing exceptional. Fried chicken, corn, green beans, stuffing and potatoes/gravy were all good. Most lacking were the dessert selections, all fruity pizza (apple, strawberry, mixed berry) and soft serve vanilla ice cream, PASS. For $10.99 you might as well go to the new Golden Corral. Might try pizza ranch again for the takeout, doubt if I will return for the buffet. read more

This review is only for a carry out order that I had today. The good news is the young man that served me was very friendly and a very good representative for the Pizza Ranch. It's his customer service that is probably what is keeping me from wanting to round this down to a 2 star review. I ordered a barbeque chicken pizza and as far as flavor goes it was OK. The worst part was it was a medium thickness crust as I ordered but it was very dry and had no flavor of the crust goes. Overall a bit of a letdown. I've had better barbeque pizzas that were frozen and came from the freezer section of the grocery store. Based on the fact that my nephews really talk this place up as being one of the best they've ever been to I'm sure I'll be back to see if today was just a fluke or not. At this point I don't see myself becoming a regular customer if todays experience is typical. read more
