Honestly, would not recommend coming. We came with five kids and two adults. Every time we came to the buffet there was hardly any food. Some of the pizza that we did pick up was cold. They did end up refunding our dining experience because I had expressed concerns while we were there and how unhappy we were with the service. The card machine was a joke and we had issues, but apparently they do not have cameras and the dining room or up by the front counter so they were unable to assist with those issues with the cards We spent a lot of money, but they really just didn't seem to care about the issues or fixing it. A friend of ours had let us know about Pizza Ranch and recommended it to us. They have two little ones who love it so we wanted to check it out with our toddler. Super friendly and attentive staff. We were helped immediately and there was open seating. Tuesdays, kids eat free! The menu is PIZZA, but they have a small salad bar, fried chicken, dressing, and maybe a few others but I can't recall. The pizza is basic, but not bad. But the fried chicken is GREAT. The salad bar options are limited, seemed like a generic lettuce and cabbage blend. They did have a watermelon, lime mix which was interesting. The dining are is decently sized, and connected to it is a small arcade. They have private rooms for birthdays here as well. I had never eaten at a Pizza Ranch and even before COVID, buffets were not my favorite dining format. Unbelievably at 5 o'clock there was no line, so the cashier did a quick overview of the menu and I used tap and pay. He then showed me the different parts of the buffet and then seated me at a table close to the buffet and drinks. I heard the fried chicken was better than the pizza, and I agreed with that evaluation. The food was OK, however PR caters to small groups and kid's birthday parties that doesn't cost a fortune. Thankfully there were no parties in progress, but the restrooms are adjacent to the games area. For me it was an average meal, but if I was their ideal customer, I'd rate it higher because it was clean and fairly well organized. read more

You basically have three buffet options here: around 10 pizzas varieties plus bread sticks, fried chicken and comfort foods (mashed potatoes, sweet corn, green beans, pasta, and a few other things), and a salad bar that includes a lot of add-ons. When we were there I noticed that there were more adults there for the buffet and not many children so the grandson was happy it was crowded in the arcade. The pizza was good, tasty crust with a very flavorful sauce and various toppings available.. Hubby and I went here for dinner tonight to try something different. We tried just about ever pizza they had on the buffet. My favourites were the Alfredo, and The buffalo chicken pizza. All of the Pizzas were delicious. If there is a different type of pizza you want, you can request it to be made. They have a salad bar, fried chicken and pasta. The chicken was fresh and very juicy. They have desert pizzas and ice cream as well. The staff were very kind and worked really hard to ensure guest were seated and had every thing they needed. The seating is plentiful, but it's a self serve establishment. I didn't like that we were seated so far in the back and had to walk such a long way to get our food. The buffet is small and it seemed like everyone was crowed together to get their food.There is one way in and one way out, and the register is located at the door, so it made it even more crowded getting in. I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars because it's a level above the rest when it comes to pizza family buffets. The staff was very kind, consistently restocking the buffet with freshly prepared food and constantly cleaning the buffet stations and clearing tables. The restaurant is fairly big, clean and easy to get around. There are a couple pizza stations, a salad bar station, a dessert station, a soft serve ice cream machine and a fried chicken station with side entrees to accompany the fried chicken. There are plenty of pizza selections to choose from and the fried chicken brings a nice element to their buffet options. Pizza ranch is a devine experience. I loved every second of it from the delicious savory cinnamon rolls, to dizzy chicken in the arcade. That's one thing that the mellow mushroom can't compete with. Look out Mellow Mushroom, a pizza buffet just opened up in your back yard. Sure, they don't have a bar and they don't serve alcohol, but they do have a game room. Maybe some of the kids birthday party business will move across the the parking lot and the patio at Mellow Mushroom will be a bit more chill? Mellow Mushroom has better pizza, but Pizza Ranch isn't bad and you will get more pizza for your money. This fills the pizza buffet hole on Mid Rivers Mall Drive that Pizza Street left when they closed. This is another price point, but the quality is better to go along with the higher price. They just opened, so be patient with the service. I'm not sure how much service you can realistically expect at a buffet anyway. You serve yourself and about all the staff is going to do after taking your money is keep the buffet topped off and empty the used plates from your table. That was all done in a friendly manner with a smile. Didn't see any empty spots at the buffet, it was all being refilled immediately, even the special requests (if you don't see your favorite you can ask for it and they'll put one out). Brand new location in Cottleville. Right now they have limited hours due to staffing. What the have is a big variety of pizza including traditional pepperoni or sausage. They also have taco pizza, a sweet chili pizza and pretty much whatever you want. If it's not on the buffet, they can make it for you. The other attraction is fantastic fried chicken. Dined in with my family and the food was amazing, it was hot, fresh and extremely succulent. one thing I couldn't help but notice though was while the kitchen crew were busting their tails off, the employees up front were in a crowd laughing and making jokes. First off, it's expensive for the quality. The only reason I gave it two stars is that the chicken was pretty decent. The pizza though was pretty lousy. The only one I could even stand to eat was the BLT Pizza. It's about the same quality and some place like CiCi's which is pretty terrible Pizza wise. Also be aware that we came at 7:30, and they shut down at only 8:00, so while we were eating they were pulling stuff away. Overall expensive and mediocre. I don't recommend unless it's to take the kids there to play arcade games. And even then I would just eat the chicken if I had to go there again and skip their nasty pizza. Happy Joe's isn't as big or fancy of a place as this is, but it would probably be a better place to take the kids as it's cheaper, and the food isn't awful. I had always heard glowing reviews of the one in Wentzville, either their food is a lot better, or there is a lot of people who like crummy pizza made with the lowest of low quality ingredients. read more
