LET ME EXPLAIN!!!!! Pizza Rio is about the experience of pizza being served LIKE a Brazilian Steak House. Pros: 1.The pizza to me is served fresh, hot and that CHEESE PULL your kids are going to love that!!!! The adults definitely did 2. The staff excellent, friendly, professional, the BEST. You never get up, which is nice, especially with kids 3. Children 3 and under eat free 4. Coke products yes and about 5 minutes from the Compass Margaritaville Resort perfect. 5. You can make reservations so try to so you don't have to wait. If you do have to wait they have corn hole outside and a few benches. 6. Parking is plentiful and very close to entrance of the restaurant 7. Clean restrooms/ and restaurant 8. You will get full and the appetizers/desserts were not skimpy at all this place will fill you. Matter of fact my family really enjoyed the apps and desserts surprisingly. Cons 1 only one con - the pizza has normal flavor combinations. I did not experience a wow flavored pizza at Pizza Rio but I was not disappointed about coming either. This place is not something my family would visit repeatedly because the price to me doesn't match the experience. Please however experience it once because all the things you wished Cicis pizza offered to make the day feel grand out with your family this place definitely gives you without fail!!!!

Pizza Rio is a must when visiting Pigeon Forge! Staff is amazing and so friendly! We felt very much welcomed and invited in their space! Decor is beautiful with focal points being the wine vault and fireplace! The inside is beautiful with vaulted ceilings and such detail in the decor. The food is DELICIOUS!!! We loved trying literally everything! There was not one pizza we didn't like with our favorites being Broccoli Bacon, Crispy Bacon, Mushroom, and Portuguesa! The Nacho pizza I also super yummy! The sweet pizzas were just as great with our favorites being Strawberry Nutella, Banoffee, Dulce de Leche with Coconut, and Chocolate with Sprinkles! In addition to the pizzas literally every appetizer is amazing! The Caesar and House Salads are dressed well! Loved the arugula in the House Salad; it added such great peppery notes with the tomatoes and slightly sweet house dressing! The chicken wings were crispy and sauced well! We really enjoyed the Garlic Parm, BBQ, and Teriyaki! The meatballs are yummy as well; topped with a delicious marinara sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan! The Strawberry Lemonade is fresh and so flavorful! Overall, I have nothing but amazing things to say about Pizza Rio! Loved our time there eating and chatting with the staff! We are so excited to come back! Sidenote: there is plenty of parking and it was super easy to make a reservation through Yelp! We were running a little late for our reservation. We called and let them know and they were super accommodating!

A Must-Try Brazilian Pizza Experience in Pigeon Forge! Advice from a local PizzaRio isn't your average pizza joint--it's a Brazilian-style, all-you-can-eat pizza experience that will absolutely blow your mind. For just $28.50 per adult (yes, seriously!), you get a full meal that includes appetizers, a rotating variety of savory pizzas, and the most mouthwatering dessert pizzas you'll ever taste. Kids pricing is available too, which makes it a great spot for families. Let's talk about the Nacho Pizza--hands down the best thing I've ever had on a crust. Think crispy edges, perfectly seasoned meat, melty cheese, and all your favorite nacho toppings layered like a dream. It's bold, savory, and totally addictive. Every time it came around, we said "yes" without hesitation. But it doesn't stop there. The servers bring around a huge variety of pizzas straight to your table Rodízio style, just like Brazilian steakhouses--only this time, it's pizza heaven. Every slice is fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. Then comes dessert... and wow. The Bananas Foster Pizza deserves its own moment. Warm caramelized bananas, cinnamon, sweet glaze, and a soft, chewy crust--it tastes like a hug and a celebration all in one bite. They offer other dessert pizzas too (like Nutella and Dolce Coconut!), but that Bananas Foster one is next-level unforgettable. From start to finish, the experience is fun, filling, and totally unique. Whether you're a pizza purist or an adventurous eater, PizzaRio is a win. Great value, incredible food, and something for everyone. Do yourself a favor--skip the usual and give PizzaRio a try. You won't leave hungry, and you definitely won't forget it.

first, i want to give a ton of credit to our wonderful waiter - he was SUPER friendly and so kind! he made our entire meal so much better by bringing me an entire saucer full of lemon wedges when i asked. he was able to explain the concept of the restaurant to us very easily and was quick with the appetizers and drinks we ordered. i really did enjoy the salad. that lemon honey vinaigrette with sun dried tomatoes was absolutely delicious. and the crostini? that was perfectly crispy and had the perfect amount of flavor, in my opinion. the savory pizza, i would say, was maybe subpar. it wasn't bad, it just wasn't what i was expecting. out of the ones i did try, the quatro queijos was the best with all the cheeses. the dessert pizza was the star as the banoffee was probably my favorite! that and the beijinho, i just love anything with coconut and this reminded me of the inside of a mounds bar without the chocolate coating. the outside was beautiful, and the inside was very open plan and didn't feel too crowded either, which i appreciated. i likely won't return as AYCE places make it hard for me to feel like i'm eating my money's worth but this was a really nice experience for what it was.

Reserved a table here for a friend's rehearsal dinner and they were SO accommodating. The service was absolutely incredible. The food was such a unique dining style. We absolutely loved the dishes. There were countless unique styles of pizza and dessert pizzas. For the price it is well worth it! The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous with an incredible view of the sunset and pigeon forge. Wonderful experience and would love to come back should we visit the area again!

Honestly we were a little worried due to some negative recent reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! Yes, $32.50 seems like a like but for our party of seven, it was perfect! You get focaccia and crostini, meatballs, 2 salads, and wings of various flavors! We shared it all and ask for more! The pizzas were perfectly cooked. Lots of toppings and crispy crust! And get ready for some amazing dessert selections! The bananas foster...chefs kiss! The servers were super accommodating and we had no problems with the service! Thank for a great Brazilian Pizza Experience!!

Wonderful ambiance, soft Brazilian music in background. Fireplace, bar seating as well. Excellent service, AYCE price too. Recommend if you're looking to try something different, filling.

I am finding it hard to really get a gauge this restaurant. I did like the vibe and style. The bar options were very tasty and surprising. The appetizers were a surprise hit. The bread selection and the Caesar salad were excellent. The wings were good flavors but could have been a little crispier. The pizzas were hit or miss. Most were a little soft and could have been crispier. Most of the pizzas were basic and nothing remarkable. A few of the Brazilian based flavors were much better. I really wanted to like it better than I did in the end.

Fantastic experience and food, Johnny was amazing !!

We recently visited the pigeon forge area, it was our first time, I had heard a lot of great things and wanted to try it for myself. Pizza Rio you did NOT disappoint!! The ambience and atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, Everyone was kind and explained the process in detail, they were all patient with us as we had a group of 7 with 4 being kids. Johnny, our server was above and beyond fantastic, interacted with the entire table even the kids! He's great! We highly recommend the restaurant and ask for Johnny for your server!!

Knowing we were going up to the arts district, I looked for a place to meet them before the circle and saw there was a Celtic Pub. Only that was the spot where the drum circle was. And, to my surprise, it is the same owner as the Fox & Parrot Tavern in Gatlinburg, one of my favorite English pubs (and currently closed do to a feud with the US government - hope that gets fixed). The place is definitely British country feeling. Very nice tap list, including both local brews and standard UK brews. Heavy wood feeling with a very nice deck outside, which includes some spots under cover (which was important as it rained on the circle and people had to duck in). There is nothing elegant about the place or the food. But that is its charm. The fish & chips were on point, esp. with the malt vinegar. Shepherd's Pie a bit salty for my tastes, but not to the salt lick level. Also came with chips. As for the drum circle, if you are reading this in June 2026, that is every Monday at 6-8 PM through the end of the month. I got some great drone footage of the circle, which I added to this review.

I would never come here if I was in a hurry, but if you have 2+ hours to eat and want good food in a storied place with staff who will treat you like friends, you're going to love the Rampant Lion. NOTES: -In rural TN, it should not surprise you, but be aware that they have Trump displays in the restaurant. -The restrooms are single stall and accessed from outdoor. They're indoor restrooms - just the door to access them is on the outside. (No porta potties) They're solidly clean - just make sure to pack clothing that works for the temperature outside because you might be dipping outside a few times. -Parking lot is small and gravel. Relatively easy to get in and out of though. -Amazing gin selection with staff that *clearly* knows their gins. -Adorable photos of the owners on slideshow of their trip to Europe on the wall. It's adorably and clearly a couple who was on a good vacation. We've had a good chunk of their menu at this point. Pretzels: Delicious beer chese AND delicious pretzels. Quite a bit of food with this too. Bread, Oil, & Vinegar: Wasn't super fond of this one. A ton of oil in a bowl made it hard to get the right oil-to-vinegar ratio. Chicken Pie: Deliciously breaded with super-tasty french fries too. Served piping hot, so it took a bit to be able to eat it without burning myself but a wait well-made. Reuben: Partner absolutely loved it and said the bread was the absolute perfect consistency. SO much meat in there too (though he said it could use a bit of extra dressing). Bubbles and Squeak: Delicious. Just delicious. Zero notes, you should eat it. Beanie Weenies: Home-made right in the restaurant! My favorite thing on the menu. Super savory, semi-healthy (beans...at least?), and served super warm. Comfort food at its finest. Menu in-restaurant was different than online one on a few things.

We ordered typical appetizers - Chicken Satay and Spring Rolls. Spring Rolls were too oily, seemed deep re-fried. Chicken Satay came after entrees were served, and beyond surprise, they got us bite size pan seared chicken, which lacked flavors and seasonings. Worst satay we have ever had. All these years, all the thai places serve chicken satay on skewers and with tasty peanut sauce. To our dismay, this chicken satay was pan seared with no taste whatsoever. Our entrees were their specialty basil fried rice and red, green curry. They were ok. But chicken was like boiled chicken just thrown in precooked curries. Lacked the flavors again! Overall I would rate rating of 2 for food. Sharing pictures for reference, they don't do justice with the tasteless food. My 2cents, they should work on their food quality and then price the dishes appropriately.
