We had a really great meal yesterday for lunch. I was craving pasta, so I thought we'd finally give Pizza Sauce a try. It's a cute place, decorated well, comfortable with great service. We had one of those meals where we covered the table in food, and all of it was delicious. I had the Chef's Trio (Marinara, Lasagna, Stuffed Shells, Ravioli and Baked Cheese) with a gorgeous and huge side salad (roasted red peppers!!), with honey mustard dressing, and very lovely garlic bread. It was so satisfying. And there was so much in the container (they served it in a metal to-go bowl, which makes a lot of sense because there's so much sauce and cheese) I don't think I ever got around to eating any of the ravioli. Not to worry. I love that there's pasta in my fridge, for later when I need that warm, gooey hug. My mom surprised me by not getting pasta. She was disappointed that there weren't any eggplant dishes on the extensive menu, and couldn't get her brain to accept any of the other Italian offerings. She got C.B.R. (Chicken Bacon Ranch: Provolone, Marinated Chicken, Bacon and Ranch) with fries AND a "small" Cobb salad (Mozzarella, Marinated Chicken, Bacon, Romaine Lettuce, whole boiled egg, Tomato and Cucumbers) with balsamic vinaigrette (because they were out of the raspberry vinaigrette). That salad was GARGANTUAN for a small. Jeremy got a Pizza Steak (Mozzarella, Marinara and Steak), after someone he respects recommended that he try one, when she found out we were going to Philly for his birthday, and his deep love of cheesesteaks. He seemed to like it, but he didn't finish the whole thing. That could be because he also got a Philly Burger (Grilled sweet & banana peppers, mushrooms, fried onions, crispy bacon, fried egg with yellow american cheese. Served with fries) and he didn't even care that there were mushrooms. He REALLY enjoyed that. Look at the photo. Who wouldn't? But he said that the star of the show were the garlic parmesan wings, because they weren't just dusted in the seasoning. It was a sauce. Passed by this place many times but did not go in. That is until a friend bragged know how much she loved their pizza. We had to give it a try. We went in on a weekday afternoon and after looking at the menu and watching a few customers gobble up their pizza, we ordered. My husband ordered the Italian cold cut sub, it was huge and fresh, he thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, a medium. The crust totally surprised me, it was moist and soft from the center to the edge of the crust. It was really good, plenty of pepperoni, and the sauce has a slight sweetness to it. All in all, it worked. It's just delicious. I would have tried the thin crust pizza, but did not see that on the menu. It was probably an oversight on my part. The young lady said they do make them, so next time, I'll be ready to order that. Our cashier/server, Nancy, could not have been more pleasant and informative . What amazed me was that while we were eating lunch, they had an order for 52 pizzas. They do a huge carryout business. We will be back, plenty of free parking. read more

Ordered a pizza and a flounder dinner for delivery, time was a little long but I get it's busy sometimes. My issue was the flounder dinner, the price for the portion was embarrassing, other shops give 2X the fish and $3 less. Your fish was like rubber and the fries with it were saturated and soggy. The salad and dressing was put in with the hot food so it was very undesirable, nobody likes warm salad. At least the money for the flounder dinner was refunded. I've only ordered carry out. Been a customer for about 6 years. Their soft crust pizza is the best! Salads are fresh and generous. Specialty salads excellent! Especially with Salmon! I really like the rice bowls as well. I've had their breakfast food a few times. Very good as well. Subs are tasty. We work on Saturdays and breakfast is imperative. We all got together on a group order and called it in. Once our guy got there he paid for the order and left the store. Once he arrived back with the food to much jubilation, which subsequently ended after we discerned that the order was incorrect. The lady on the other end argued him up and down saying that he did not order what I heard him order first hand. So instead of masking it right , she is instead dismissive and callous. We are making one order that he was reading from a list and I definitely heard him say what he said he said , and she takes multiple orders so it's understandable if she confuses one every once in a while. But in business, you have to own up to your mistakes. She was just like "oh well , eat sh!+" Ruined everyone's breakfast and pretty much lost my business. So I've loved this place since about 2016 or 2017 when they first opened. Their wings, pizza and everything else, especially their carrot cake have always been too notch! The only thing I don't much care for that I think is a huge detractor from any restaurant is Door Dash... I guess they've become a necessary evil but they don't put your orders where they belong, they rarely text or call you to let you know that your food has arrived and they've actually even taken my food. So I called them to let them know and they told me it doesn't come with home fries, although, it's literally on there menu. Soggy, under-cooked, moist, mealy. I know fries don't travel well, but they didn't have to travel THAT far. I know how to make fries crispy -- you cook them over high heat. And if they're going out for delivery, it's probably better to overcook them than to under-cook them; at least that way they'll remain crispy when they arrive to the customer. Last month we got pasta shells and a Reuben that were delicious and delivered by the company and the driver were wonderful. Tonight we got pasta shells again and a regular normal burger. They read the notes!!! Food was fantastic. The Uber driver that delivered our food to another house was another story completely. Every menu item I've tried is great. Normally when you get a 5 page menu, it's not a good thing. But here, it's awesome. They don't half ass anything. I love it. Having had the cheesesteak sub, the "ribeye steak fries" was overkill. If you are hungry and like steak subs, the steak fries are pretty good. So we have recently started to order pizza from Pizza Sauce in Rosedale, on Pulaski Hgwy. We actually love the pizza, but 2 of 4 orders have been done wrong! The 2 that we have ordered onsite were fine, 2 ordered over the phone wrong. One time picked up pizza and got half way home and they called asking if I would mind coming back as they gave me the wrong pizza. Yesterday we ordered an extra large pepperoni and cheese.
