Well pizza is a personal thing and what one guy loves another will hate so you need to know what you are getting before you even pick a pizza place. If you want the bendable greasy New York style pizza, don't go here. This isn't that type of pizza. It is probably best described as somewhere between a California cracker crust and a Chicago style crust. They don't drown the pizza in tomato sauce so if you wanted the Chicago style with lots of sauce this will miss the mark. It is probably best described as a thicker California cracker crust pizza. The sauces are varied as you can pick anything from alfredo, marinara, bbq or pizza sauce. classic pizza sauce is fairly mild so if you were hoping for some red pepper bite you'll need to spice it up after you get it. Now the big let down is the garlic bread with cheese. While the menu might say french bread the reality is it is just sliced bread, I was expecting something like what you can get at Yorkside Pizza and Restaurant where they take a loaf of french breed, cut it down the middle and turn it into garlic cheese bread... I admit this place uses about the same amount of cheese but when you put it on white bread it just doesn't work. So avoid the garlic bread as it is an epic fail. Normally that would already have me at a 3 star rating but the reality is you don't go here for anything but the pizza. Service is generally good though they have had better service in the past, they apparently replaced all the previous staff due to them graduating or something (staffed primarily by high school kids). Place is relatively clean, but the decor is a throwback to the 70's. If I didn't like the pizza I probably wouldn't eat there and only do because my kids had a school function that forced us to go there... otherwise I would have probably walked in, looked around and left just because it is kind of ugly inside.... but hey. This is about the food not the decor. read more

Service shmervice. ....This is a place out of time. The pizza is cheesy and crazy good. I only rate Andollini's higher. The crust is unlike any other in town. A buttery crunch. Not too thin. Lots of tasty topping on the roundhouse ....their version of supreme. The 3 cheese bacon and roma was good too. Will hold the green peppers on the Hawaiian next time. Do those belong on that? The service was alright and friendly. The homade ranch and pink stuff (just try it) was surprising. They even bottled and sell the pink stuff. I had been driving by this place for a couple of years and never really thought of stopping. A coworker recommended it and after reading the good reviews it was worth giving this place a shot. It is a chain out of Missouri/Kansas and people there apparently love it. I ordered the butcher block pizza and it was great. Five of us couldn't even finish it. Very dense with cheese and meat toppings that were really flavorful. One of the best pizzas I have had since living in Tulsa. The pizzas are not cheap, but you get what you pay for at this place. Once you've eaten Pizza Shoppes Pizza and the salad with the Pink dressing, all other corporately owned pizza(s) taste bland (like cardboard). My favorite artisan created / specialty pizza is hamburger and sausage with dill pickles and extra cheese. I also like their Canadian Bacon and Pineapple with extra cheese. Dan (owner) is an "hands up - over the top kind of guy", that has a good reputation and runs a solid business in our community. Good pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. I always do carryout - so I'm never subject to the (allegedly) bad service.

I came in to try a new pizza place. I'm from New York and tied every pizza parlor that will taste similar to New York style pizza. I ordered the cheesy breadsticks it was cheap no flavor. They used mozzarella cheese slices and sandwich bread. Then I had a buffalo pizza that was the awfullest pizza I have ever tasted! The chicken was canned. Not good quality pizza. all I could taste is blue cheese it was all over inside of the pizza. I ate one slice and asked for a to go box because I didn't want to hurt their feelings so I put the box in the trash at home. My stomach started turning after 15 minutes I Will not be coming back. read more
