We had very quick delivery to our hotel. Their specialty pizza was excellent and one of the best crusts that I've had in a long time.

At at neighboring business and wanted to order some pizza to-go. Easy to order from the front. they took the order and payment and when it was ready we walked back in and got it. Took home and it was delicious. I had not had a crust like that in a long time and really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly. Restaurant is spacious but we didnt eat inside. This restaurant was selected as the restaurant of the month in Kearney for July... I sure don't know why. I ordered their supreme (or whatever they called it) and it was truly awful. It was burnt, dry and missing most of the toppings. Worst pizza I ever bought. If I had just opened the box before I left. read more

This place was recommended in a Northland group for good fried chicken, which I found interesting. Came two weeks ago and thought it was great! This time, not as much. No chicken breasts at all, seemed to be all dark meat. It was also EXTREMELY overcooked and dried out. Salad bar looked like it'd been sitting there for several hours, also. Of course we came at 3:30 which isn't ideal. Nothing much looked very appetizing, unfortunately. My kids liked their pizza, though! Dessert pizzas are nice when they have it out. If you're driving down 35, and want something other than drive through fast food the Pizza Shoppe is a decent choice and still relatively quick. My partner and I stopped by dying a long drive and enjoyed one of their cracker crust pizzas. Not sure where the name comes from as it seems like normal crispy thin crust, but it was enjoyable. Really nice little place with comfortable booths. Ordered Chicken Alfredo and a small Sausage, pepperoni and mushroom pizza with an $11 5 bucket of cold domestic beers. This was a stopped in and order takeout experience. Let me start by saying the gentleman working the cash register/taking orders was very nice and professional. There was also a girl cleaning tables and putting chairs up as it was nearing closing time who was also very nice. I placed my order and was told 20 minutes and it was just about 20 minutes on the dot. 20 minutes to cook 2 pizzas but they forgot to make the 3 side salads I ordered and handed me the pizza so I had to wait like another 5-7 minutes while the salads were made. I was the only one there at that time and there were 3 people in the kitchen and not one of them thought to make the salads while the pizzas were in? Took the pizza home to my wife and hee BFF from Chicago and they were super excited I brought their childhood favorite. The 27 minute salads were great with the pink sauce and the roundtable no onions or green peppers was awesome. We got a prince pepperoni free for ordering a king and it was pretty good too. All three pizzas that we ordered for our granddaughter's 10th birthday party were severely burnt. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Immediately contacted the staff and store manager to report the issue and they stated that is how their pizzas are served. The pizzas were eventually replaced, but only after having to deal with their unprofessional staff and sharing photos of the burnt pizzas over the web. When we showed up to pickup the replacement pizzas. They tried to charge us 50% for the replacement pizzas along with 100% for the originals. read more

I seriously relish a trip to Pizza Shoppe. Although it's just a bit "spendier" than normal for my budget, I love their thin crust pepperoni pizza and the salad with "the pink stuff" is always to die for. Best Pizza I have ever had! I went on a Monday with The parents and my sis Excellent specials! I had the combination pizza and a salad with the Pink stuff. I may be a bit of a pizza snob but it is because I grew up eating such excellent pizzas being from Chicago. Pizza Shoope is a decent place to get your pizza cravings satisfied. I thought the pizza sauce was a little bland but wow, the very tasty toppings made up for the okay sauce and uneven cheese spread. I love the restaurant's sit down area, it is everything a pizza restaurant should be. Comfortable, attentive wait staff, and live local sports, which a pizza restaurant should always have in the background and not live games from other places. If they work on the pizza sauce a little and work on how the cheese is spread on their pizzas, this could become my favorite local pizza place in Kansas City. read more

My family of 6 went the to eat on Thursday after a fun day at the Pumpkin Parch there in Kearney. We leave in Lees Summit so thought we'd grab some dinner before heading home. We walked in a sat down. Waited for over 20 minutes and no one came over the entire time to take a drink order or say be right back. It's almost 7pm & my 4 kids are starving by this time. We got up and left, while walking out the door the waitress cane over to say she was the only one serving tables. After hearing that I don't blame her at all. The restaurant was very busy. Either there should have been more waitresses working or a manager should have been out helping. No way one person can handle over 15 tables. I blame the manager on duty for the horrible service. We won't go back and ended up eating in Liberty which was enjoyable. Please pass on my comments. Hopefully it helps out future customers. read more

If you haven't visited the restaurant Pizza Shoppe, then you are missing out. Immediately when you walk in you hear the sounds of kids laughing and adults chatting. There are a lot of people there, but its laid out well enough to where you have plenty of space. Wherever you sit, there are TV's to enjoy a sporting game. The walls are covered in history of the restaurant, such as old menus and how the restaurant first opened. To top all of that off, there is a small area for gamers. There is Pac Man and Car Racing games as well. Something for everyone. Pizza Shoppe is a very family friendly place. The waiters are all smiles and make sure you have everything you need at all times. We only had to wait a maximun of about 25 minutes and we already had our food. Even less for our salads and breadsticks. Finally, I will talk about the foods that I had. I started with a delicious, and traditional salad with ranch; also topped off with bacon bits. Nex were the hot breadsticks. They came with a warm Alfredo Sauce that would almost melt in your mouth. After those two appetizers, i ordered a small personal cheese pizza. It was covered in gooey, thick cheese. It was so delicious i ate it very quickly. I will say, Pizza Shoppe had a very large variety of pizza choices: cheese, pepperoni, sausage, vegetable, fruits, etc. The last part of my experienc was the peppermint patty. As i went up to pay by the front door, i was given a mint peppermint patty to top off my whole meal. It cooled my mouth and left a good taste in my mouth to finish my amazing meal. Best thin crust pizza in town. Have eaten at the store in Platte Woods for years until they open this shoppe in N. Oak. Butcher Block and the Roundtable are fantastic. Frozen beer mugs make a great addition for a frosty beer and pizza read more
