yikes.... we were really excited for this experience cause we're local - but it really missed the mark, on multiple fronts. First, they had one employee working the floor, who clearly didn't have prior experience. there was a group of maybe four families - plus maybe two other tables - total of 6 occupied tables - in their 'bar area' and it was too much for her to handle. We entered the restaurant and waited to be seated at the front, the waitress apologized for being busy and said she would be back to seat us - but didn't come back. The owner's family member came and told us we could sit wherever we want - so we sat in the front room, which was empty except for one couple. The front door was left open and the owner of the establishment was smoking outside with some girl sitting on the curb of the parking lot - i literally got up and closed the door. no one came to take our order, until the older woman / family member came and said 'i'm sorry for the service, i normally don't do this job' and took our pizza order. pizza was NOT good. the 'mexican' one was so sad with the worst salsa on top... it was literally soggy. will not be back. sucks. read more

Went on a weekend for lunch. There were two other groups at noon. Staff greeting friendly and said it was open seating. We opted to sit in the bar area to catch the games on TV. Found out from staff that the menu was limited as they just opened a month or so prior. Nothing impressive to note. Pizza was alright, but VERY greasy. I was okay with taste of the crust, however it is worth sharing that thickness of crust was paper thin in the middle of the pie which made all toppings fall off. Salad bar was disappointed with food not giving "fresh" vibes. The salad was warm. Will I return? Perhaps if invited for a special occasion where I didn't select venue. Recommend? Wow wow wow! Santinos is back!! New name and owners but the pizza is the same recipe! I was so happy when the waitress said it tastes the same!! The sauce is just as I remembered. The crust is a little thinner than I remembered but so good! Is it greasy? Yes but it's pizza! The salad bar was so fresh and tasty! I really wanted to rate this restaurant 5 stars. I will give them a second try in the future. Here is what went wrong. 1. Service. We waiting at the hostess station for a long time. Several employees made eye contact with us. No one approached for 5 minutes minimum. No exaggeration. 5 minutes minimum. Finally, the lady said we could sit where we wanted. She said the back room was packed. Then she went back to work. We chose a table not far from the salad bar. We waited a long long time. No menus. No silverware on the table. Nothing. We sat. We were in great moods and yet we knew this place was grossly understaffed. More eye contact from the employees. No words. We watched a female employee arrive at 6:35 PM. We were there since 6:08 PM. At 6:45, a male employee approached us and asked if we had been waited on yet. We said no. He got us menus. Then the female employee that arrived at 6:35, came over and said she would be helping us. He said ok & left. We put in our orders. We got our sodas quickly. After a 5 minute wait, I stood up and asked a male employee if I could go directly to the salad bar. He said yes. I only saw the large bowls there. My spaghetti dinner came with a small salad for an upcharge. When I returned to the table, there wasn't any silverware still so I got up again and asked for some from another male employee. Our meals arrived 15 minutes from the time we ordered. Not too bad.. after so much waiting. 2. The food. I ordered spaghetti & meatballs. I ordered the salad bar. The salad bar was fresh and the selection was good. My only recommendation is to add different lettuces Their lettuce mix is iceberg, some romaine, & it was topped with raducchio. The spaghetti & meatballs were meh. The meatballs were kind of dry and the sauce was nothing to write home about. The noodles & sauce seemed like they came from the grocery store. I did like the garlic bread. Hubby ordered the Italian Sub. He said it didn't have enough meat & cheese. It was a skimpy sandwich He ordered the fries for an additional $2. The fries were fabulous! Yummy. 3. The menu. I am a teacher and I noticed 7 spelling errors. Fries not frys. Calzone. & a few others. I will happily fix those mistakes for your restaurant for free before you reprint your menus. We will come back for the pizza. Hopefully, the staffing will be proportionate to the large amount of customers. We wish you well, Pizza Station. We want you to thrive. read more

I got a chance to try their spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce and I was quite pleased! It is comparable in quality as one of my favorites over in Santa Barbara (Giovanni's on upper State St) I also ordered a small Pepperoni Pizza. Good portion of cheese ... was a tad on the salty side. It appears they toss their own dough. I skipped their salad bar: Still no croutons. For a business that opened only recently, they still have some glitches to address, but seem to be doing their best.There was a large group over in the banquet room to service, so I get it. Love that we have our favorite Sub shop back, didn't disappoint. Salad bar is well stocked, hopefully they'll add a cottage cheese or Mac salad to the mix in the future. Subs are huge, so expect to take home leftovers. We went when they opened , people started coming in and there was only one server, but the owner came out to assist. First time at this restaurant since it was Santinos. Our experience was very disappointing. Our party of 7 stood around for several minutes while the waitress did something behind a counter. She finally told us we could sit where we wanted. While the waitress was friendly, the service remained very slow and the restaurant wasn't even busy. There were other staff, but they did not assist at all. She mixed up our order (gave us a discount) and never returned to offer more drinks. The spicy roast beef was decent and the pizza was okay, which is why I gave them a couple stars. We will not return, the experience does not deserve a second chance. read more

Remembering Santino's pepperoni pizza from when I was a kid in the 80's, my husband and I went to Pizza Station hoping to have another bite of that unique recipe with the oozing whole milk mozzarella, plentiful pepperoni, tasty sauce and chewy, slightly sweet hand tossed crust . Jessica, our server, greeted us with a warm smile and tuned two of the big screen TVs to the Dodger game for us and promptly took our order. When I told her I used to wait tables there in the 80's, she told me that Rueben, the cook might remember me, as he once again works there! I knew then we were going to get the real thing, and we were not disappointed! It was exactly the same yummy, cheesy extravaganza that I love. Jessica was awesome, attentive and accommodating even as she waited on a much larger table next to us. The decor is perfect. Service was wonderful! As far as the food, I give it a 2. They use the same pizza sauce for the pasta! It was not edible. Watching the staff making the pizza was interesting. No one person back there had gloves on! Everything was done with bare hands. Even when I seen one of the cooks scoop out ice cream using his hands! OMG! The kitchen looked neat, but the staff was not following any health codes. Rubbing hands on the back of your pants then your apron is not sanitary! The manager was just standing there staring off into space drinking a soda leaning against pizza station window! In a word: EXCEPTIONAL. Everything has a hearty, homemade taste!! Just picked up a large Hawaiian pizza, meat ravioli, and lasagna. Pizza was positively perfect. Savory flavor, perfectly browned crust, and an overall texture & taste that is noticeably better than any of the pizza chain stores. The ravioli was magnificent. And the lasagna was straight up heavenly: reminds me of how my Italian godmother from NY used to make it. I really appreciate it when independent pizza places offer Italian entrees (spaghetti and meatballs, manicotti, pastas, etc.) -- and Pizza Station's are really impressive. I just had lunch at the Pizza Station at first it seems like it has some of the same recipes as Santinos but after I had the Italian sandwich and it only had three thin slices of meat and I paid $19, I have decided its nothing like Santinos. Pizza was pretty good but VERY greasy. We ordered a pepperoni pizza. Pizza was very thin on the 18". Salad bar is very mediocre. The ranch is not good at all. I was hoping that this would be a great place but I'm not sure if I'll return. I feel bad for saying this but I have to speak the truth. We had a party of nine and were able to be seated right away at 5 pm on Sunday. Service staff was very friendly and helpful. We placed our drink order and then our dinner orders. After we ordered, the place got very busy with multiple groups, families and sports groups. Food was delicious, salad bar items were very fresh. We plan on going again.
