While in town for the night we decided to try Pizza Time thanks to fellow yelpers! Went with a 14" Combo Supreme since it sounded delicious and right up my alley ;) The staff was so friendly and acted like they actually cared, I received 2 calls when the delivery driver was confused finding our motel room, one from the driver and another from the restaurant after the pizza was already delivered. It looked so amazing when I opened the box, I decided to snap a picture before we devoured it. Great idea because we had half of the deliciousness gone in no time! I hadn't had any Pizza Time in at least 10 years but my parents picked some up last weekend and I was impressed. They used to be not quite bottom of the barrel, but what you would get when you were hanging out with your broke friends who only had $5 each to pitch in for pizza. First off, this review is dependent largely on the fact that pizza is one of most largely available restaurant items today. There are a lot options out there, and a lot of place to buy tasty and affordable pizza. Taking that in mind, I look at three things when i order a pizza: price, quality of ingredients, and ability to apply the correct order. Price: The pizzas are generally affordable. I got a large one topping for $5. That puts the pizza at about the price of Little Caesars, a little less than Domino's, and a couple bucks less than Pizza Hut. Price is a factor, but the difference in pricing is not enough to be the deciding factor for me. Ingredients: The ingredients are a little better than Little Caesars, a little less than Domino's. Nothing to write home about, but the crust wasn't too bad. Ability to apply the correct order: This is where the place struck out. I ordered an extra cheese pizza, and confirmed multiple times that I would be able to receive that, both on the phone and when i picked the pizza up. The pizza barely had any cheese, which really took away from the pizza. I would have been more than willing to pay extra to receive what i ordered. Either the store should have said it was not available when i ordered the pizza, or have told me upfront that there would be an additional charge. Simply skimping on the one item i requested was in bad taste. There are a lot of affordable places to go to in the area, I would skip this place if you care about toppings. If you are fine with any slab of cheap pie, this is your place. read more

Edit: September 8th 2016 - I still love this place. It's always good pizza, the people who work here are nice, and once even brought the pizza out to my car while I was waiting! Super awesome of him. Anyway, I just tried their chicken and I actually really liked it. The pieces are smaller but not one time did I get a weird chewy piece (happens with Dominos chicken all the time). So I still give PT a 5 star review and will obviously be getting my pizza here often. :) Original Review: This review is simply based off of the two times I've gotten the $5.00 one topping pizza. Both times with pepperoni. I love the spice of the pepperoni, the cheese is delicious and always a good amount. The crust is crunchy yet soft. The tomato sauce is different from most places. It's less sweet and tastes more like real tomato sauce. The pizza was done in ten minutes and hot. Overall, fast, cheap, delicious. I will come back and order something different soon. read more

This pizza place is right next to my office so i decided to give this place a try. The flavors are great and prices are reasonable. Great pizza gluten free is a plus although I believe there is a cross contamination risk I did feel a little sick after eating it. Ordered my pizza online, and received a call, only to have the caller on the other end not address themselves. All I got was, "your pizza is ready." Went in to pick it up, there was only one individual in the place, which I didn't find to be safe, and this individual went from making a pizza to handling money, without changing his gloves. This is the only place I get pizza because they have the best pizza and the cheapest prices!!! Their cheese is amazing, their crust is a so fluffy and their gluten free crust is really good too. Not to mention the pizzas here aren't greasy like a lot of other pizza places. I always get the white sauce just because I don't personally like marinara but the white sauce is really good. The same people have been working there for many many years and they have known me since I was really young and would get pizza with my grandma. Just finished eating the best pizza I've found so far. Delicious! Not a frequent pizza eater, so first and foremost: an 18" is waaaaay to big for 2 adults and a child (my bad!). Next time will go with a 10 or 12". (we didn't even make it half-way through). Almost always order extra cheese but this time I forgot and I'm glad I did. Lots of cheese, melted to perfection. The only down-side, and it's minor to me, was my thin crust was not as crispy as I like it. Could be as a result of the sauce (a little too much for my liking, but it was soooo good!). Not a big fan of marinara but Pizza Time's was amazing. Like with pasta, I don't like the flavor of the sauce to overwhelm everything else. It should complement, and this marinara does. This place is close to our apartment so we order fairly often (2, maybe 3 times a month). Pizza is always hot and fresh, and the crust is a perfect mix of crispy and chewy. actually, no stars at all. me and my boyfriend ordered over the phone for a pizza delivery. almost at the end of the conversation, the guy asked for the number and since he was talking with my boyfriend, my boyfriend said hold on and looking for my phone number and eventually found it in phone contact. this pizza guy said "never mind" after an hour. i called to ask what happened. this person who answered said he is the manager when i asked for one when he rudely said to me that there is no one in there whn the pizza arrved. we are in the process of our last load in moving to the address and if the guy had got my number he could've called me and i dealt with it as i already calculated the time, i will or my boyfriend is gonna be there from our last load is less than 30 minutes. if he get my number and not disregard it and called me the outcome wouldve been better. and i can just say leave it there at the door bec maybe we are just near or he was too early or even late from the time estomated. pizza was paid anyway payment was already processed over the phone twice through card but my main dissappointment was actually the fucking terrible customer service and horibble uneducated attitude of the pizza guy over the phone. So I recently moved to the area and have only had Pizza Time twice, both times were pick-ups, so my review will be certainly missing some aspects to it that others here clearly love. First up, location. Now while I love that it is so close to my new house, the actual location for pick-up is not that convenient. I won't place much of my rating on this aspect, but it is definitely worth noting. The sign above the shop is big enough, but the blackout tint on the windows makes the place look closed. Plus getting out if you're trying to go up the hill adjacent to it is just a pain. Now when I walked in it was quiet, only one guy working it seemed. He promptly acknowledged me and let me know there was a smaller menu on the counter in front of me. He answered all of my questions, mostly about menu price changes that haven't been updated in their pamphlet. He told me it would take 8 minutes for him to make my pizza upon request, and so I timed it and he was right on the money. I got a 12" pizza for just under 11 bucks. So price-wise this place is about the same as Little Caesars or Dominos. Taste-wise I wasn't super impressed but I wasn't disappointed either. The first time I had this pizza someone else picked it up, but I had a pepperoni with green peppers and that one was fantastic. The BBQ Chicken I got this time around was kind of....flat. That isn't to say it was bad, but just that there weren't any standout flavors. It kinda tasted like some generic bbq sauce. For comparison, I used to get Papa John's BBQ Chicken and that was immensely more flavorful. Again, it wasn't bad, so I can't really rate it too harshly. Overall, this is a great place if you want to support a local business and you want better taste than the cheap franchises (Dominos/LC) but at the same cost. I'm going to give another one of their specialty's a shot, but for now I will just recommend that you stick to the common toppings for a great time. I'll definitely be ordering from here again, and may update my review based on their delivery service. read more

I have drove past this restaurant for years and have never bothered to try it. It looks really shady from the outside and I don't really have a reason ever to go in that shopping center. So one day me and my sister were feeling adventurous. We were tired of dominoes and romios, and wanted something different. So we mosey on into this joint. The restaurant is really bare bones. I was pleasantly surprised by the options and prices. There are really good pizza prices (better than other pizza places in the area imo) and large pizza size options. They have the ability to make those monster large pizzas, which are always fun for parties. We get some pizzas and wait for them to make it. As we are waiting, lots of people are coming in and out getting their pickup orders. I had no idea this place was so popular. The pizza took an average expected amount of time to make. I get home to eat it and it's BOMB. The pizza was very delicious, and I'm glad I finally decided to try this place. Another plus is that they are open really late. The staff is always friendly when I make carry out orders and I usually make them super late at night. The pizzas are amazing and the crust is to die for. I usually don't like pizza but they have great dough and sauce here. I order the wings a lot and I absolutely love them. They've got a different flavor to them but they're delicious still. The last time I had a takeout order, I ordered ten minutes before they closed and the gentleman who took my order was very nice about it and waited at the door for me cause I was a couple minutes late. Pizza time is the best pizza I have ever had . I moved to the area (a few blocks away) about 2 years ago and I have ordered from them many times . I usually get a chicken, bacon and onion with white sauce for the meat eaters in the house and I change up my veggies for my veggies pizzas . They have a good variety of toppings ! Cheese bread is also really good and I've ordered there salads a few times and they are huge and fresh . There delivery time is insane, like they are so fast ! I know I live so close but still I think I've ordered and gotten my pizza in less then 15 minutes . But seriously there pizzas are so delicious, my boyfriend has very high standards when it comes to food and it's so annoying when he complains about food we order but whenever I ask what he wants for dinner he says pizza time ! And i forgot to mention, they have gluten free pizza as well and it taste just like there regular . The staff is also very sweet and friendly and I have even ask then to pick me up something from the convenience store next door and they said yes without a problem ! What great customer service .
