Carbonara
Myrna R.

It's been years since I've taken a stroll down Lincoln Road. I happen to have been there, after taking an incredible art class at Oolite. So I decided to take a nice stroll and opted for a nice lunch to match. It's small inside with plenty of outdoor seating. It was a bit warm so I chose to sit inside. The server was kind and attentive. I had a small kids Margherita Pizza as an app and went for the Carbonara. The pizza was average but the Carbonara was not good! Salty and the sauce felt a bit off. I only ate 1/4 of pasta, I simply couldn't finish it. Had to wash it down with atleast 3 glasses of water. $53 later I was filled with regret. Unfortunately Lincoln Road is nothing but a tourist trap. Nothing special and unique. It's changed so much in these last years. It's sad. Unfortunately, I will not be dining in Lincoln Road ever again. :(

Margherita pizza , the Pasta was soo good I completely forgot to take a photo of it almost forgot the pizza pic too

Really good , highly recommend the rigatoni pasta and the margherita pizza absolutely delicious and amazing vibe , wonderful music and fast attentive staff , so if you like fast service highly recommend

Their auto service charge 20% without disclosure

1 Star -- Misleading Mandatory 20% Service Charge Without Proper Disclosure I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Pizza Tua. After dining here, I was surprised to see a mandatory 20% service charge automatically added to my bill, with no clear disclosure beforehand. This charge was not clearly explained by staff, nor was it obvious on the menu at the time of ordering. Like most customers, I reasonably assumed that tipping is optional, not mandatory. Adding a significant fee after the fact, without clear advance notice, is misleading and leaves customers feeling trapped at checkout. Transparency matters -- customers deserve to know the real price before ordering, not when the bill arrives. This is not about the food or service quality -- it is about business ethics and honesty. If a restaurant chooses to impose a mandatory service charge, it should be clearly and prominently disclosed upfront, not hidden or quietly added later. I'm sharing this review to warn other customers so they can make an informed decision before dining here. I personally would not return and do not recommend this place unless you are comfortable with undisclosed mandatory fees. Attached: 1) Bill with 20% auto service charge without disclosure and consent. 2) My complaint to Miami/Florida Consumer Protection

Beware when you come here as I found a dead bug in my food! We ordered truffle fries to start, and when we went to dip the fries in ketchup we noticed something fall off the fry. It absolutely was a dead bug, and when I went to go confront one of the workers and show them the dead bug, they kept trying to convince me that it was truffle fry seasoning. On top of everything, there were many open seats and tables and they sat us at a table that was wet as it had just rained and the server was helping everyone around us and took forever to get to us. And when we tried to order the server would still try and get people walking by to sit at the restaurant in the middle of ordering!

Overpriced - they asked us for drinks and we all wanted a round of water, only to find out they charged $9 for a bottle, which hardly filled our glasses. We made a point to specify for tap next time. The pizza wasn't bad but more of a personal sized. The vibes were cool as we were outside the strip and people watched all sorts of people of Florida, shoutout to the man wearing only a trash bag singing his heart out.

We order a pizza NO Good this restaurant have to learn how to make pizzas no recommended. We order tap water, the waitress brought a open bottle look like was fill in the back from filter tap water and charge as $9.00 dollars for the open bottle of water. When I look around the others tables all have the same bottle of water Tourist Trap. They charge 20% service charge automatic to your bill no matter how many people at the table and on top when you pay with credit card look for more extra service charge . The only reason we went there because it WAS a very good restaurant at that location NO Recommend NO recommend

Pizza Tua is located right on Lincoln Road in South Beach. It's mostly outdoor seating which is perfect for people-watching especially on a cool night. I started some appetizers. The Carppacio De Polpo and Pizza Tua Pizza personal size. The polpo was very good and refreshing. The burrata and 24-month-aged prosciutto on the pizza were delicious and fresh. For the main course, I opted for Chicken Parm. I haven't had it in a while and I'm glad I ordered it because the flavor was exactly what was craving. The tomato sauce was not too sweet or salty. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the spaghetti that came on the side was al dente. To finish my meal, I ended with some fresh cannolis. OMG to die for. Also, I had some sangria to wash them all down :) So good and not too sweet. My experience was great here. I dined in solo and my server really took care of me. Even the manager stopped by my table several times to make sure I'm happy with the food. This is definitely a good spot if you get hungry while shopping on Lincoln Road.

Bolognese

Unfortunately, a very mid food experience. Ambience and service was fine- a fun location in the hustle and bustle of things on Lincoln Ave. The bolognese was comparable to a meal a college student would make. Minimal sauce and meat, lots of pasta. We ordered the cacio pepe because we wanted to see the cheese wheel table side service; they have a nice concept in theory but the execution needs work. I'm pretty sure the pasta was sitting at the bottom of the cart in a pan for some time uncovered, letting the heat escape. When it made it to the wheel, the guy's carving out cheese to mix in. By the time we ate it, the pasta was closer to room temp which was not a desired experience. Overall, could be open to stopping for a drink next time but would definitely go elsewhere for food.

Step up a few stairs, walk through the main entrance doors and beyond the sofas in the foyer is the entrance which looks more like an entrance to an office. The door gives way to slightly dim warm lighting, which creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. I sat at the bar with my husband and heard the bartender, Phillip taking repeated orders of old fashioned and espresso martini. I saw a table polishing glasses and glasses of wines and then came the surprise - their selections! Their selections were smaller than expected but thoughtfully chosen. We asked Phillip for his recommendations, along the lines of red & bold. He gladly pointed us to a wine that was not on the menu. It seems they offer a menu selection and off-menu/rotating selection from unique wine regions. We had a red blend from China (yes that's correct, it surprised me equally). But then I realized, I haven't had wines from most of the regions they offer and the curiosity sets in. Looking forward to explore the menu and off-menu selection. The atmosphere was lively, fun, and bustling. The bartenders were very friendly, and I found out one of them is the owner's son, which added a nice personal touch. I loved that the owner/chef was preparing many of the dishes right in front of guests in the center of the bar area -- such a cool experience to watch. The rosé on happy hour was excellent, and I happened to come on $1 oyster Wednesday night, which was an unexpected bonus. The oysters were small but fresh and delicious. I also had the mini ahi tacos and the mussels. The mussels were amazing, especially with the creamy sauce -- and the baguette was perfect for soaking up every last bit. The mini tacos were also a great choice, with three generous portions for happy hour. The crowd was friendly and seemed to be mostly locals, which gave it a welcoming neighborhood feel. I even met a few people while I was there, which made the night even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
