My good friend and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for brunch the other week and this place blew us away. I hadn't savored on French food in a minute, and it was nice to have a refresher here at the SoBe location. There really isn't much parking available except for street but there is a valet for a fee. Our server for the day was Sabrina and she was so darn personable and great at her job. We were so thrilled to have someone competent and warm take care of us for the lunch. We ordered the Foie Gras Torchon and it was so nicely plated and delicious. The jams served as accompaniments were fantastic as well. The restaurant also served us rolls and we sat at a beautiful spot in the outside garden. It was a gorgeous day, and the food runners were also very polite and had great manners when it came to dropping and picking up plates. The cocktails were well connotated and garnished for the Gods. The best was the La Vie en Rose which actually featured flower bulbs on top. The restroom as well had the most flattering wallpaper and was immaculate. Music played from a speaker in the bushes to our left, and overall the whole thing felt very magical. Our waiter was very helpful and recommended several items off the menu, as neither of us were too familiar with French cuisine. We both tried the Lobster Croque and thought it was okay, but I think it was just not our cup of tea. We then tried the Lemon Meringue Croissant as a dessert, and wow oh wow, that was amazing. La Grande Boucherie Miami is a French brasserie from The Group Hospitality that opened in January 2025 in the South of Fifth neighborhood. It is an extension of the renowned Boucherie brand from New York. The inspiration for the Miami location came from the opulent Oasis Parties thrown on Friday's in the garden of designer Paul Poiret and his wife Denise Boulet in 1920's Paris. The restaurant is located in a historic 1938 Art Deco building for a blend of Paris elegance meets high energy Miami. We sat outside at a table in their beautiful garden terrace and started with a few libations to get the celebration rolling. What a beautiful evening in Miami Beach celebrating a friend's birthday! We try to do something different every year, and this was truly a special experience. We stumbled into this spot after trying to walk into Carbone and honestly ended up so pleasantly surprised. At first we had no idea what it was, but the reviews were great so we gave it a shot -- and it totally delivered. The inside has such a cool vibe, very old-school Miami with a classy French feel. The outdoor seating looked really cute too, but it was just a little too hot for that this time of year in Miami. We ordered the escargot, grilled octopus, yellowfin tuna carpaccio, mac & cheese, and the risotto. The standout dishes were definitely the mac & cheese and the yellowfin tuna carpaccio -- both were incredible. The escargot and octopus were also really good. My only note is I would've loved some bread with the escargot, but maybe that's just me. The risotto was solid, just not my personal favorite dish of the night. They have a lovely outdoor garden area; however, it was August and raining, so we went inside to the bar. The interior will take you right back to Paris in the age of Art Deco! Stunning! We ordered off of the "green hour" menu. We had the cheese board, which was just kind of meh, to be honest. Our group also had the L'aire Boheme, the Charbon Vert, several Old Fashions, an Aperol Spritz and the Absinthe frappe. The standouts were the L'aire Boheme and the Absinthe frappe! (note - there were 6 of us; this wasn't a frat party!) The drinks were all made meticulously by an appropriately French bartender! I am a fan of LGB. The garden setting can only be eclipsed in Miami Beach by Casa Tua. BUT...tonight was an off night. We waited for a table for an abnormally long time. Finally we sat upstairs in the plush red dining room. After waiting another half hour, without cocktails, our waiter made himself known, telling us that the kitchen is woefully behind and we will have another 45 minute wait for food. On that note, we folded our napkins and beat a fast retreat to another restaurant. Our evening turned out to be pleasant after all. I know that the team at LGB will right the ship. Absolutely outstanding! The ambiance, service, and the food were all amazing during my family's visit. We always sample each other's food and there was not a complaint to be had. You start with some crusty bread with a side of whipped butter and sea salt. You are then served appetizers, which we had the escargot and tartare to share. Both were outstanding and served with some more crusty bread. For entrees we had the filet mignon, duck confit, and the beef bourguignon. The meats were cooked to perfection, with all 3 being fork tender and juicy. The sides paired well with meats and overall the flavors were on point. We finished off with two desserts even though we were already quite full. LOL The cheesecake was to die for while the house creme brûlée was interesting. I did like the flavor as I'm into all things Asian, but I would imagine it's an acquired taste. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for a date night, special event, or just a weeknight meal! We visited this place twice last week--first for drinks before dinner in Stubborn seed and then again for a full dinner. On both occasions, the bar service was noticeably slow, with each round of drinks taking around 15 minutes. During early afternoon, they offer a very attractive happy hour that is popular with locals, so the bar was consistently full. That said, it would be worth considering ways to improve speed and efficiency at the bar during this time. Despite the wait, the drink menu is excellent. The cocktails are creative, well-balanced, and very tasty. The quality of the drinks definitely stands out. The dinner service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, polished, and very detail-oriented, providing an upscale and refined experience. The food was also exceptional. Bar snacks like the lobster rolls and sliders were mouthwatering, and the  main dishes at the restaurant, the duck and lamb were cooked perfectly. Presentation for drinks and food was beautifull. The place inside  is elegant, and the terrace is particularly beautiful, making it a great option for a date night regardless of where you sit. The wine list offers a solid selection, especially French wines, with a good range of pricing. Overall, prices are reasonable--not inexpensive, but fair for Miami and aligned with the quality of both the food and service. What a beautiful french garden getaway! The stunning pink flowers, greenery, and white lights made for such a beautiful evening. Every person from the hostess, to the server, to the manager were extremely happy and friendly. We started with the bread service that came with fresh bread, french butter (if you know you know, best butter in the game) and sea salt. Our amazing server, Ivan, recommended his favorite options on the menu. We started with the french onion soup-- the broth was dark and hearty and there was a copious amount of fresh gooey cheese melted on top. It was a big bowl and filling. For mains we had the filet de boeuf with seasonal veggies. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection and served with a delicious gravy-like sauce. We also had the filet minon, which was pepper crusted, and also covered in a gravy but also peppercorns. The mashed potatoes were the best i ever had--so soft and smooth and buttery. We opted for a side of shoestring fries that came hot. I am not a dessert person, but this dessert was exceptional and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. We had a creme brûlée that was very tasty, but do not miss the profiteroles! They are an absolute must! Their pastry chef makes the croissant/eclair like sweet dough, and there is vanilla ice cream in the middle and topped with warm dark chocolate. So decadent and perfect. Such a beautiful restaurant inside and out! We made reservations for a Sunday night but were surprised to find out that was not necessary. We were one of a handful of tables those few hours we were there but could make sense since it is still new to the area. For appetizers, we shared two french onion soups, les escargots, and la salade nicoise. We were big fans of the soup but were kind of mixed on the snails. Nicoise was also good but we've had better at a restaurant nearby. Entrees were shared family style. Personally, my favorite dishes were the poulet roti and wagyu burger for their juiciness and umami flavors! The boeuf bourguignon was too salty and could have benefited for more mashed potato to absorb the excess salt, however it was incredibly tender. Saumon roti was also cooked well but not anything immense. Lobster linguine was a little to acidic with the tomato sauce. Not a huge fan of steak, I thought the filet de boeuf was not my favorite. Overall, our waiter was wonderful and truly went out of his way to help us take group photos at the end of the night. Le Grande Boucherie totally lived up to the hype. We came to celebrate our anniversary and were wowed! From the moment we were welcomed and sat at our table, everything felt elevated. We got to the restaurant a little early, so we sat at the bar for a few minutes and enjoyed two drinks. The drinks were really great. For dinner, we started with the steak tartare and escargot, both classic, both executed really well. The tartare was super fresh and well-seasoned, and the escargot came in the most indulgent garlic butter. For mains, we had the steak frites and the ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The frites were crispy and addictive (honestly, I could've eaten a whole bowl of just those). And then came dessert. We couldn't decide, so we got both the crème brûlée and the Basque cheesecake, and good thing we did. The crème brûlée had that perfect caramelized top and silky custard underneath. Even better than New York location! I had great food in Manhattan location, but this one in Miami is definitely beyond that. They have a gorgeous yard, tons of different plants, it's really nice to dine in such beautiful garden. We were there on a Thursday night, it's full but service was fast. All waitresses are friendly and super polite. We ordered the food, within 5-10mins they were served. Tuna salad is very fresh, cheese in French onion soup is gooey and creamy:) My husband really enjoyed the filet mignon, super soft. I do prefer the duck leg that I ordered, it's sweet and savory. My favorite part part is the crème brûlée!! lol. I finished the whole bowl of it, yes it's a huge portion. I was tell my husband that I feel it's even better than the one I had in Paris... I could definitely come back here even just for their crème brûlée! You feel like you get thrown right back into the golden age of Paris just that you're in the middle of lush Miami vegetation. We sat outside for an early Sunday dinner. The outside space is gorgeous as well as very serene with lots of palm trees. Our service was amazing! Our waitress Anneli was so sweet and on point. We eat Jamaican escovitch all the time so it was cool to try the French version. Dessert was amazing! We were full but couldn't stop eating. For our entrées, I had the prime steak frites(10 oz Prime grass-fed NY strip steak, herb butter, pommes frites), and my mom chose the côtelettes d'agneau (Roasted lamb rack, potato gratin, garlic rapini, tomato/rosemary jus). Both dishes were phenomenal! The meats were cooked to perfection. Tender, juicy, and flavorful. The presentation was beautiful, and the portions were more than satisfying. I especially loved the gratin potatoes from my mom's dish. Even though we were already quite full, we couldn't resist trying dessert. Lovely new place in Miami Beach. The outdoor seating is very nice, and indoor bar is cozy. Started off with Octopus & escargot for apps - octopus was nice and tender, not chewy and good flavor. Escargot had a good texture and the sauce was not bad. Main course selections were the Boeuf Bourguignon, which was very tender, and the Prime steak frites. The prime steak didn't even need the sauce, as the steak itself was very good. For dessert we ordered the Pistachio cheesecake and Mousse au chocolat. I honestly expected both to be better. Would try something else next time. Finished the night with the PJ Breeze non-alcoholic cocktail, which was nice and sweet but not too sweet. The service was very good, very attentive. read more

Where do I begin? Wow, what an experience. The place is absolutely beautiful. There is garden seating, indoor seating on the first floor and even a fancy vintage upstairs seating area that is intimate and beautiful. There is also a bar on both levels of the restaurant. The service from the moment you Valet, to the welcoming hostesses, and everyone you come across gives stellar customer service. The real star was my server, Mirjana. She gave great recommendations and was super attentive (along with other people who would check in) frequently. The Manager even stopped by to ask how our experience was. The menu had delicious options for both food, wine and craft cocktails. Our favorites were the French onion soup, literally the best I've ever had and the Gruyère cheese in it was amazing; the steak frites very flavorful and did not need anything, and the milk chocolate caramel tart, so creamy and delicious. It was also our first time trying escargot, and needless to say we're fans now. They had a good garlicky, butter and salt taste. I also had the black sesame crème brûlée, which different but if you are a fan of black sesame like I am, you'll enjoy it! This place was definitely a treat, if you're ever in the area and are wanting to have delicious French cuisine, I would absolutely recommend this place. This restaurant is good for a special occasion, intimate date, or even an all girl's bday dinner or a just a sexy spot to grab drinks after work. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was packed, so I recommend making reservations in advance. Not the most kid friendly place, but we went on a Sunday evening when it wasn't busy and the waiters really went above and beyond to make them feel good. Service was excellent. Everything ordered was received extremely prompt. The food wasn't terrible but I believe there are better French restaurants in Miami. The atmosphere felt very cozy and you felt like you were at a French boutique in Paris. The drinks were very good. My wife wasn't a fan of the drinks... Dinner at La Grande Boucherie was such a lovely experience. The ambience is beautiful, romantic, cozy, and full of charm. It really sets the tone for a special night out. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. They were attentive without being overbearing and just really made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. I started with the onion soup, which was rich, cheesy, and comforting in all the right ways. Then I had the steak frites, which was super flavorful and cooked just right, with crispy fries on the side that I couldn't stop eating. For dessert, we shared the profiterole and the cheesecake, and wow.... both were incredible. Lunch at La Grande Boucherie felt like such a beautiful escape! From the moment I walked in, the entire staff made me feel welcome--everyone was friendly and greeted me with genuine warmth. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Sinclaire. She was absolutely the best! Her bubbly, friendly personality and helpful attitude truly made our lunch date extra special and fun. It felt like hanging out at home with friends, but with top-notch service and incredible food. I also noticed how attentive the support staff was--every detail was handled seamlessly. You can tell this place has a lot of regulars; it was so cool to see guests walk in and have their orders almost ready without asking--those VIP touches really stand out. The food was fantastic, with perfectly portioned plates (something I really appreciate--I'm not a fan of excess food). I just had an amazing evening at here! My partner and I sat outside, and the setting was absolutely beautiful - the greenery and flowers created such a great atmosphere. Our waitress, Elena, was fantastic and had the best recommendations. We started with an Old Fashioned and a La Vie en Rose cocktail; the Old Fashioned was hands down one of the best I've had - not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. For appetizers, we had the oysters and foie gras. I've never seen such a generous portion of foie gras before - definitely a dream, though a lot to start with! My partner ordered the entrecôte grille, and I had the filet au poivre. Based on what we ordered, the ribeye (med rare) was a little overcooked, but my filet was absolutely perfect (rare). We also shared a bottle of wine, which was delicious, and ended the night with a lemon tart and black sesame crème brûlée - both unique and so good.
