    Curry Chicken Pizza Twist

I have mixed emotions in this place because the pizza flavors are so unique but they're almost too unique if that makes sense. I've had their lamb pizza and their chicken curry pizza. Both a little over the top but well prepared. Flavor was spot on a bit overbearing. I probably won't be trying any wild flavors if I decide to dine here again. I've only ordered carry out or delivery so I'm not sure what they have to offer by way of dine in.

This place is a whole new twist on pizza so their name is fitting ! Seems like a fairly new business still located in a pretty large strip mall area on Meridian which is around McDonalds and Michael's craft store among many other businesses... it's a small place that seems like a family operation with a counter to take food to go, no place to sit down to eat which is okay for me as I don't always like to dine in anyways. I didn't interact much with the cashier but she was very polite. I like sweet and spicy foods so the Mango Habanero pizza was the one that stood out for me (mango habenero sauce, cheese, chicken, jalepenos, red onion and pineapple). It wasn't the greatest pizza I've ever had but it was good ! It looked appealing and the all the flavors were there !! They also included a little packet of crushed red pepper and a side of ranch without me even asking which was much appreciated. The menu is interesting and I'd like to come back and try their "spicy lamb pizza twist" which I can only imagine would be like a spicy gyro pizza and a whole new flavor adventure for my mouth ! Until next time, keep it twisted Pizza Twist !

    Pizza Deal

I ordered their meal deal where it's 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $5 which was being advertised outside. When I got my food, the '2 slices' was actually a regular slice cut in half. The worker also made me extremely uncomfortable. He kept giving me fist bumps, staring at me, and even said 'I love you' on my way out. Would not recommend coming here especially if you are a young woman alone.

This place is soooooo good. We got it for dinner tonight. I got the spicy lamb kabob pizza. It came with their signature Tandoori sauce, mozzarella cheese, lamb, red onion, jalapeño, pineapple, garlic, ginger and ciantro. I got it hand tossed. It had so much flavor. My husband got the supreme and that was very good too. Im excited to try the other pizza combinations they have.

The atmosphere is warm and lively, the location is perfect, and the entire staff made the experience feel elevated without being pretentious. We had a 5:15 dinner reservation and the restaurant was already packed, which honestly says a lot. The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about both the wine list and menu, and every recommendation felt thoughtfully curated. The food was phenomenal. We have the chef special which was a chicken skin dish and the short rib pasta with the added burrata; flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. Definitely one of those places that feels just as good for a casual night out as it does for celebrating something special. Already looking forward to coming back.

This spot is off A street and is located within the big grey building that is the post office. You'll enter where there's stairs on both sides of a grey wall/stone structure. And once you're in, take a right and and the restaurant will be straight ahead. And of course parking, downtown is mostly street parking. And you have to pay during certain hours, so look at the signs to enure you don't get a ticket because the police are pretty well known to not give any grace. Made a reservation online to celebrate a birthday. (And just FYI with the small print, if you cancel less than a day before or a no show, you are subject to a $20 fee PER person). Alright, so this spot has no air conditioning even though its pretty small in there, so I'd recommend sitting outside. Or else, the inside can become a sauna especially in the summer. Had initially requested to sit inside, totally forgetting about the no A/C and my friend who has never been here requested to sit outside. But the server became short with us and was less than pleasant but had intially agreed to take us outside. So it was a confusing situation. And I was embarrassed to bring my friend here because they were talked at and not to and was suggested to sit at a dirty table at that. Food was mid and wasn't as good as it used to be. There wasn't much flavor in either dish.

Each year, I would wait patiently to stock up on my favourtie spices from this company. It was also a chance to see the lovely couple who is so friendly and generous that sells their spices! The wife would be at one bazaar and her husband would be at another location... so cute! Their spices are dried and packed with punch! My favourites are: garlic sesame; creamy galic; wasabi - packed with lots of garlic is how I like it! It is great for making easy party dips and lovely to put on meats or sauces for baking. A very nice gift idea too for those friends who love to cook =D Interestly, while visiting Puyallup Farmers Market this past weekend, I came upon their booth! It wasn't sold by the lovely couple I know, so I am not sure if its a family business or not. The man was vague in sharing details... but their packaging is local and I know I'll see them again at the local winter bazaars. Give them a try! Currently, you can purchase their spices through ordering via facebook or email... or do like I do, and wait for the winter bazaars! www.facebook.com/pages/For-the-Love-of-Pasta

We were quickly seated for our reservation, and our server was friendly & attentive. We started off with a delectable appetizer special of burrata with heirloom tomatoes, pesto and olive tapenade. The tangy tapenade really complimented the creamy burrata. We were also served the softest french bread, which sopped up the pesto so nicely. We were lucky enough to get a bite of all 4 dinner entrees on the table. I ordered one of the daily specials, the Saltimbocca. The chicken/prosciutto combo was so flavorful in the white wine sauce. The portion was plentiful, I could have taken a doggy bag, but devoured it bite by bite. I was thankful to have made this choice - score! Hubs ordered the Diavola pizza, with crisp pepperoni and pickled serranos. Either the serranos or red pepper sauce gave it quite the kick, not overly, but deliciously. It was perfectly crispy! Family ordered Carbonara and the lamb ragu. Both great portions, very flavorful! Our dinners came with a salad, which was a perfectly lightly dressed compliment to the appetizer and mains. We drove quite awhile in 5:00 traffic to get here, but it was well worth it. We savoured every bite!

No reservations. There was 1 spot open in the small dedicated lot and then I found a spot on the street. Recommend coming in fewer vehicles if possible. No reservation at peak dinner time (5:30) on a Wednesday, the host (and manager?) found a spot for us promptly anyway and he was super kind and our server for the night. Preschooler was asleep in my arms, but we made it work. We ordered: 1 rose cider (sweet but not too sweet), 1 pulpo (grilled octopus!) starter, 1 boscaiola pasta for the preschooler (boxed leftovers), 1 spring ravioli (more Italian name), and 1 rabbit with polenta entree. Each main came with salad and meal started with bread and whipped butter. We were offered a kid menu option of pasta with alfredo, marinara, or bolognese sauce, but opted for normal menu so we could bring back leftovers. We loved the pulpo and the salads (they offered to box up the preschoolers salad since she was still sleeping). Kid enjoyed the bread. Bit of a wait for mains but nothing out of the ordinary. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Boscaiola was a hit with the kiddo since she loves pasta and sauce and mushrooms and cheese. Husband thought his main was really good. I was so full after eating all of my ravioli. Really impressed with the quality of food and the level of service. A busy place, but as mentioned, we were luckily seated right away. We're thrilled to have finally made it here after our old Italian standby in proctor shutdown and we can't wait to come back! Definitely recommend. Parking: you can find it, not plentiful but not bad either. Kid friendly: sort of! If your kid likes pizza or pasta!

Many local caterers had very high minimums, which I completely understand since spring and summer weddings are their busiest season. What frustrated me wasn't necessarily the cost--it was the lack of follow-up, dismissive conversations, and unanswered inquiries. That all changed when I contacted Mama Stortini's. Almost immediately, I received a response from Maguire, who expressed genuine interest in hosting our event. Over the next several days, he worked closely with me, answering questions and helping me bring my vision to life. Maguire is top-notch. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Most importantly, he made me feel valued as a customer, regardless of the size of my event. Once we booked, I was introduced to Brittany Blakeney. What a wonderful person! Brittany was positive, genuine, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. She assured me that everything would go smoothly and that I would have nothing to worry about on my wedding day--and she was absolutely right. She detailed our event so thoroughly that by the time we had our final planning call, I hardly had any questions left to ask. When our wedding day finally arrived, the catering team was on time, prepared, and ready to go. The setup was beautiful, the food display was impressive, and the food itself was absolutely delicious. I am disappointed that I forgot the names of the two young gentlemen who served our guests because they were amazing. Although I didn't have much time to interact with them during the event, every interaction I did have was impressive. They were professional, courteous, friendly, and attentive. Whoever hired them made an excellent choice. We received so many compliments from our guests about both the food and the service. Mama Stortini's played a huge role in making our wedding day special, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. Thank you to Maguire, Brittany, and the entire catering team for helping make our wedding day so memorable.

The kids absolutely loved watching all of the trains pass by (and they come by often) which was a huge highlight and easy distraction while waiting for food. They let us choose our own table so we chose a table next to the window where the kids could easily see all the trains. The kids got to do the DIY pizza deal again ($9.99 per kid) and they all had so much fun. We switched up our order from last year and got the South Sounder (a buffalo chicken pizza) and the Trackside Chop with all the fixings and their vinaigrette. We loved both! The salad was so light and refreshing and we loved the dressing. The pizza was the perfect counterpart with the spicy/tangy balance from the buffalo chicken, and was loaded with tons of cheese. Bless our waitress, she was so sweet. We had all three kids with us who were, for lack of a better word, terrors. We cleaned up our best after them and she was so patient with us and assured us we didn't need to do any cleanup (though we did!!)
