Also the location of the place of course being right near downtown and it being such a beautiful area! My son actually thought there was no sauce til we saw it hiding under one nugget (let's face it, boneless wings are just nuggets and don't deserve to be called wings). The wings looked good and he ate them but luckily we bbq sauce we could add to them. Kind of ironic too because they open up all the pizza and dessert boxes for you at pickup to show you your order is right but they didn't with the wings. So just letting you guys know to check your wings before you walk out! All in all I will order from them again, for sure. The sauce is good and I am not even a marinara fan but they do it right here, pepperoni which I hate to love is perfect, the cheese is heavy and gooey. I just think it needs to be tossed on a large to get the best quality. Even the wings we will order again. In a panic, I called Frankie's Pizza, worried they were about to close. I felt terrible explaining my situation to the staff, a last-minute, large order with no notice. I was ready for a frustrated sigh, but instead, I was met with immediate, kind understanding. I paid over the phone and raced over. They had my entire order ready to go the moment I walked through the door. Phenomenal service, as always. But the moment that TRULY melted my heart happened when I pulled up to the house and checked the pizzas. Tucked into one of the boxes, right next to the pizza saver, was a handwritten note: "You're a great mom, even if no one acknowledges it. :)" I was in tears. Seriously, tears. That small, kind, human gesture cost them absolutely nothing but instantly made my entire stressful work week worth it. It made my heart absolutely smile. One pizza was half and half, but toppings were spread over both halves of the pizza. Both pizzas needed more time in the oven. The crust was not raw, but close. Looking at the bottom of the pizza it was barely a tan color. The veggies were pretty much raw, or very al dente. A little more time in the oven and we would have been OK. It is not supposed to be "chewy." There was not crunch to it at all. We had to eat it with a fork, not being able to pick it up.
