My family has been coming to Sorci's for years and we love dining here, especially during the summer months when their patio seating is open. Happy hour here is also excellent. This trip, we went for cocktails and the bruschetta flight. Their summer Hugo Spritz special was super refreshing. The flight came with three accompaniments which we all enjoyed. We were also given an extra serving of bread to finish off all the sides. Their chicken pesto caesar salad is one of my favorites. The chicken breast is always cooked to perfection, and the pesto adds a great depth to a typical caesar. I will always come back for it! Service here is very laid back, and the staff are always friendly. We never feel rushed during our time dining here.

Located in downtown Sumner. Parking: free street parking Small, cozy type of café, but they have private dining area. We ordered: Classic tomato bruchetta Italian cheese bread Butternut squash ravioli Gnocchi Everything tastes pretty good. Might come back again

This lasagna was amazing! Great service and vibe. They accommodated our lack or reservation on a busy Friday night. Nice choice of Nee and Old World wines.

    Chicken Alfredo

Came here on a sunny day and sat outside. Our server was busy working the whole back patio, taking orders, running orders, and making drinks. He did a good job trying to balance it all. Ordered the chicken Alfredo but it was so bland. Tasted like cream and water lol the Tabasco and red pepper flakes saved it. My sister ordered the ravioli and enjoyed the marinara sauce. Ordered dessert and the affogato could serve a whole party. Overall good ambiance and service but food was mid.

You don't expect much from a tiny restaurant on a side street, but I am impressed every time I come to this restaurant. You walk in and it feels Italian. The wait staff is nice and relatable and are quick to offer their favorites. I love that it's not an Olive Garden wrapped with a different name - this is a place uniquely its own. I can make pasta and tiramisu at my house, but somehow they make it extra special where I don't want to make it at my house, I want to come here again and again and again. Gelato next time. Andiamo!

    Seafood Fettucine

What an experience! The staff was super attentive. The spacing between appetizers and entrees was spot on. The blood orange margarita was amazing! The artichoke dip, not your traditional dip that tastes the same where ever you go, it had so much flavor! The seafood fettuccini, stellar! And the crème brûlée for dessert, well worth the extra calories! The lighting was perfect, the decor quaint, and I cannot wait to go back and experience the patio for the next dinner there.

    Meatballs

Was outstanding! Best culinary surprise in Sumner. Really enjoyed the meatballs, sauces, lasagna was amazing, salad was refreshing and beautiful. Service was outstanding.

I can't believe I've been sleeping on this place. Our friends invited us to join them for happy hour and the food and drinks were delish! Stuffed avacados are a must have, and their gnocchi was cooked to perfection! Service was great, and the place filled up pretty quickly! Make sure to make reservations before heading over here.

    The affogato!

The Patio is always such a good place to be, our Rome away from Rome!! We love the tortellini as well.

Love the staff, love the pizza. Pizza sauce is NOT tomato sauce out of a jar! I can tell

I order chicken parmesan , the chicken breast was very small. Inside the restaurant was very hot. I don't recommend it.

The food is really good. The service is good just always seems to be a wait... which is good for them, not necessarily good for you.

It was our first visit last night. I'm all for constructive…read morecriticism so that's why I'm here. Pros: Food was great. My wife said the chicken parmigiana was one of the best examples she's ever had. She usually isn't into red sauce that much but she loved it. Most of us had the salmon, which I think was cooked just right and was well presented. It's kind of a weird location but it works that it has a lot of parking. The inside's nice and clean, the people we engaged with there were pleasant/service was good. Cons: Main issue last night was how long it took to get our meal: I think it took over an hour. I don't fault a place for a single slow experience, and the waitress was apologetic about the delay, but for the level of establishment it is, it would've been nice for the table to have been given some free bread or something to munch on as an apology for the wait. The inside was pretty smoky when we got there, light beams cast. Not sure if smoke derived from cooking or the inside fireplace (insert?) but my wife's sensitive to the smoke, so her eyes were bothering her for a bit. She was talking about possibly needing to go outside when I think the AC kicked in and the air quality improved. Otherwise, I'd say the main con is it's on the pricey side. Like after tax the salmon is almost $50, no salad/side included, and it's not a large portion. It was, however, delicious.

Catering Review : We were planning an intimate wedding with…read moreonly 36 guests, and honestly, finding a caterer was one of the more discouraging parts of the planning process. Many local caterers had very high minimums, which I completely understand since spring and summer weddings are their busiest season. What frustrated me wasn't necessarily the cost--it was the lack of follow-up, dismissive conversations, and unanswered inquiries. That all changed when I contacted Mama Stortini's. Almost immediately, I received a response from Maguire, who expressed genuine interest in hosting our event. Over the next several days, he worked closely with me, answering questions and helping me bring my vision to life. Maguire is top-notch. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Most importantly, he made me feel valued as a customer, regardless of the size of my event. Once we booked, I was introduced to Brittany Blakeney. What a wonderful person! Brittany was positive, genuine, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. She assured me that everything would go smoothly and that I would have nothing to worry about on my wedding day--and she was absolutely right. She detailed our event so thoroughly that by the time we had our final planning call, I hardly had any questions left to ask. When our wedding day finally arrived, the catering team was on time, prepared, and ready to go. The setup was beautiful, the food display was impressive, and the food itself was absolutely delicious. I am disappointed that I forgot the names of the two young gentlemen who served our guests because they were amazing. Although I didn't have much time to interact with them during the event, every interaction I did have was impressive. They were professional, courteous, friendly, and attentive. Whoever hired them made an excellent choice. We received so many compliments from our guests about both the food and the service. Mama Stortini's played a huge role in making our wedding day special, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. Thank you to Maguire, Brittany, and the entire catering team for helping make our wedding day so memorable.

The John Daly and Pink Guava Mojito were both deliciously refreshing, which felt a little inconsiderate because now I have to think about them again. The homemade corned beef hash was fantastic, the Crab Bennies were out of this world, and the country potatoes were exactly what breakfast potatoes should be: crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not just there for emotional support. And each dish came with a yummy mini scone. The staff were super friendly and efficient, and the whole place had that relaxed, welcoming energy that makes you want to sit there longer than you planned. Unfortunately, we did find a hair in the burrito this time It was definitely gross, but they immediately made my husband a new one and waived the charge. Our server was amazing throughout the whole experience, so instead of using the waived charge as a discount, we used it to tip him extra. He truly deserved it! The first time I came here, I ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict, but I was WAY too hungry and completely forgot to take a photo. This time, I got the Open-Faced Dungeness Crab Melt and PLEASE get this if you come here. This was THE BEST dish ever!!! The crab, melted cheese and tomato worked so well together and everything tasted perfectly balanced. And the fries were SO crispy! Even with the little incident, we will definitely be coming back. The food is too good and our server made the experience even better! Also, if you're coming for a special occasion like Mother's Day, definitely make a reservation ahead of time. Honestly, I would recommend making one for weekends too because it can get busy!

We live in the area and it has taken us over 3 years to finally try it and the talk about it being ok and expensive is true. The menu honestly doesn't have much variety on it. For a simple pasta with chicken to cost $28 is insane especially when the chicken itself has no flavor or seemingly any seasoning. I want so badly for this area to have good restaurants, because sometimes I don't feel like cooking but it's just not worth it when food can be made at home that tastes the same or better for a fraction of the price.
