Came with friend to Amici's for early dinner. We decided to get a Peach Sangria each for my wife and friend and I got a Coors Light beer. We ordered the Lasagna Al Forno to share. Off the Happy hour menu we got the 6 Baked Meatballs Bolognese, the Steamed Clams, the Bruschetta, the Fried Zucchini, Spinach Artichoke Dip, and later the Lemon Creme Layer Cake. Also got the free bread and butter. Food came pretty quickly and everything was wonderful. When we were done our waitress Kiley informed us their credit card system was down and they could only take cash. We don't carry much cash, and the owner had no backup plan/system for payment. We finally scrapped up $40 to take off our $114.64 bill, and took copy of my license and phone number to call me when system came back up. They called within an hour and we went back to pay the balance. Our waitress was great, but the owner needs to come up with a plan if his payment system crashes again. It should not be the customer's problem to jump thru hoops to come back and pay.

Lemon creme layer cake (to go, since we were sooo stuffed after an incredible dinner!)

Amici Italian Eatery is a true gem. I'm so grateful it exists! We've been here at least a dozen times since my in laws first introduced us, and every single visit has been wonderful. Our go to dishes are the chicken alfredo (packed with delicious chicken!) and the lemon cake (so light and creamy!). The alfredo sauce is rich, smooth, and somehow still perfect the next day. It's the only alfredo I actually enjoy reheated. Whatever magical recipe they use, it doesn't separate overnight! I also can't skip their ultra thin sliced bread with pesto butter. It's incredible! (Be sure to flip the menu over and check out their daily specials too!) Last night was no exception. In fact, it was even better than usual, which is what finally prompted me to write this review. This place puts certain Italian chain restaurants to shame. I'm pretty sure our server was the owner this time, and he was fantastic. He was chatty and so kind to my three year old, patiently waiting for his shy responses. If he really was the owner, I truly admire how hands on he is. He was incredibly attentive: refilling drinks without being asked, accommodating a custom order I didn't even know was possible, answering menu questions, offering fresh Parmesan for our pasta, and even separating our hot and cold leftovers into different bags. Truly above and beyond. That said, every server we've had here has been wonderful. We always leave happy. There's also something special about the little details at Amici: fresh roses on every table, Crayola brand crayons for the kids, the richest vanilla ice cream, super smooth pens for signing receipts. You can tell they don't cut corners on quality. The ambiance is perfect, cozy and clean without feeling pretentious. Even on the busiest nights, it's calm and inviting. From the food to the service to the thoughtful details, they get it right every time. If you're in Graham, this place is an absolute must visit!

I first came to Amici Italian Eatery for my birthday, and now it's one of my favorite restaurants! This place is a true hidden gem. The vibe is cozy and romantic with soft lighting and old school Italian charm. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you like family. They're warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, they make you feel seen and taken care of by always checking in without hovering, offering great recommendations, and treating each customer with care. I do plan on trying everything but i have been obsessed with the pastas. Oh my pasta heaven!Absolutely unforgettable. I've tried almost every pasta dish from the creamy Alfredo to my current favorite the hearty bold and flavorful lasagna Al forno. As well as the perfectly balanced pesto cream pene and they have so many more options to choose from. Its hard to explainhe but the food here leaves you with an OH WOW experience and settles into a comforting familar feeling of a simpler time. The food is clearly made with love. Finally pair your meal with one of their expertly crafted cocktails and you've got yourself the perfect night with a special someone, a family get together, or a fun afternoon lunch with friends. I highly recommend stopping by!

    Burnt salmon

Ordered pizza and the Alaska salmon. Pizza was good however the Salmon was burnt and dry. It should have never left the kitchen. When the Salmon was served, I sent it back immediately. You could see it was not up to standard. While the rest of my party ate, I waited for my new piece of salmon. I had not been to Amici's in over a year. I will not be going back.

We were quickly seated for our reservation, and our server was friendly & attentive. We started off with a delectable appetizer special of burrata with heirloom tomatoes, pesto and olive tapenade. The tangy tapenade really complimented the creamy burrata. We were also served the softest french bread, which sopped up the pesto so nicely. We were lucky enough to get a bite of all 4 dinner entrees on the table. I ordered one of the daily specials, the Saltimbocca. The chicken/prosciutto combo was so flavorful in the white wine sauce. The portion was plentiful, I could have taken a doggy bag, but devoured it bite by bite. I was thankful to have made this choice - score! Hubs ordered the Diavola pizza, with crisp pepperoni and pickled serranos. Either the serranos or red pepper sauce gave it quite the kick, not overly, but deliciously. It was perfectly crispy! Family ordered Carbonara and the lamb ragu. Both great portions, very flavorful! Our dinners came with a salad, which was a perfectly lightly dressed compliment to the appetizer and mains. We drove quite awhile in 5:00 traffic to get here, but it was well worth it. We savoured every bite!

No reservations. There was 1 spot open in the small dedicated lot and then I found a spot on the street. Recommend coming in fewer vehicles if possible. No reservation at peak dinner time (5:30) on a Wednesday, the host (and manager?) found a spot for us promptly anyway and he was super kind and our server for the night. Preschooler was asleep in my arms, but we made it work. We ordered: 1 rose cider (sweet but not too sweet), 1 pulpo (grilled octopus!) starter, 1 boscaiola pasta for the preschooler (boxed leftovers), 1 spring ravioli (more Italian name), and 1 rabbit with polenta entree. Each main came with salad and meal started with bread and whipped butter. We were offered a kid menu option of pasta with alfredo, marinara, or bolognese sauce, but opted for normal menu so we could bring back leftovers. We loved the pulpo and the salads (they offered to box up the preschoolers salad since she was still sleeping). Kid enjoyed the bread. Bit of a wait for mains but nothing out of the ordinary. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Boscaiola was a hit with the kiddo since she loves pasta and sauce and mushrooms and cheese. Husband thought his main was really good. I was so full after eating all of my ravioli. Really impressed with the quality of food and the level of service. A busy place, but as mentioned, we were luckily seated right away. We're thrilled to have finally made it here after our old Italian standby in proctor shutdown and we can't wait to come back! Definitely recommend. Parking: you can find it, not plentiful but not bad either. Kid friendly: sort of! If your kid likes pizza or pasta!

The owner came to our table to chat and a member of our party asked if she could have a meal without grits. The owner was confused and after a back and forth conversation brought a sample of her house made grits as a sample. The member of our party tried the grits and he "eyes lit up!" The grits were that good. Bottom line? The food was very good. Our server was attentive. Would we go back? Yes, but for dinner. I was very happy with my shrimp and grits. Really lots of empty tables but a staff that seemed to not care or we finally had mastered the power of invisibility. Finally someone motioned just a minute. Like 5 minutes wasn't enough. So we got a table and reviewed the menu. We decided on a simple breakfast. Eggs, bacon, coffee, toast etc.... Simple right? It took 5 minutes to get two cups of coffee. Then we waited. Remember it was not very busy. Server was nice but nothing about sorry your wait was so long. Nothing! Well the two breakfast dishes (scrambled eggs and sunny side up eggs) still were a no show. And we like crisp bacon but not overly cooked bacon. Not a difficult order. I have whipped this out in my kitchen in less than 10 minutes for 3 people. So why did it take almost 15 minutes to get ours. And why no coffee refills? And crispy bacon is not drop already cooked bacon into a deep fryer and forget it and then serve it and it actually is sooo overcooked that just looking at it makes it break and charcoal would have tasted better. The eggs were under cooked scrambled as my wife likes done eggs and my sunny side up were two rubber disks and overcooked with no sign of the runny eggs I like. The rest of the food was meh. So lesson learned, don't think Tim's will be an option for any meals in the future. P.S.: even when we pointed out the issues the server didn't blink when she said "You asked for crispy bacon, and the kitchen was overwhelmed" Really!!!

It provides a sense of cultural pride that can be lost in some places. Went here for at friends bday party and we had a large crowd. What I enjoyed the most is that we could pre-order our food, which I appreciated a lot. Having a large group of people can mean a delay in getting food, etc. but they were super efficient and we received our food in great time. What a bonus and reflective of their service. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive even with such a big crowd. Usually I'm fighting to get noticed or anything additional from servers but when we asked for hot chili oil and eggroll dipping sauce, they came back quickly with the condiments. Now, I didn't give them a 5 because our food wasn't too hot, and the hot chili oil was not hot as in spicy. It was good but not what I had expected. The eggroll was OK but the hot and sour soup and the beef green bean was so yummy. Well-seasoned. I also really liked that they have indicidual dinner meals! That is so nice when you don't want to spend so much, or want to get something specific and not share. Lastly, I bought sesame balls- just a nice sweet but subtle treat and they were so good. So delicious that when I got home, I ate the rest! I didn't plan to. Just happened lol! They are located by PLU and a little further than I would go for food since I live in North Tacoma. I will be back if there is another party or asked to. Hope they get good business/crowds here! Best of luck!

Our order: Combo #3 with added sausage with no spicy house special sauce Kids chicken tenders with fries Shrimp fried rice 1 order of asian bread 1order of steamed rice Total $130 We've been to this location 3 other times and the experience and food were all terrific! Unfortunately this time we left pretty dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the food. Me and my husband always peel and crack open the shrimp and crab first before we start eating just so it gives us some time to let our baby's food cool down for a bit. We finally got it all cracked, peeled and opened when we finally got a taste of the crab and it was SUPER SUPER SALTY. In total me and my husband ate 1 crab leg each and left the rest, and we never ever have leftover crab typically. Our crab batch was just so inedible that we didn't even take it with us to go. The chicken tenders and fries were good, can never go wrong with that and my daughter loved them! The shrimp fried rice was also good but the shrimp seemed a bit rubbery, but we took it home and decided to just take the shrimp off. With having to spend $130 and not getting to eat both the crab from the expensive boil and the shrimp from the fried rice I'd give this experience a 2, we specifically went here to have the boil but ended up not eating pretty much any of the crab. When I asked the waiter why the crab was so salty he said they they add salt to keep it fresh, but the fact that it was severely salty kind of wondering how much salt did they have to use to keep this specific batch fresh?
