Back with a review update yearrrsss later and happy to report a five star upgrade! We'e been back…read morequite a few times but our most recent visit was with a larger group and we had an awesome time. First off, service here is always great. Bartenders are always nice and food always comes quick. We started off by sitting in one of the larger booths and kicked our visit off with some drinks and an app. They have a great local selection of beers and tasty sounding cocktails. I tried a sip of my friend's spicy marg and it was TRULY spicy but it was absolutely delicious. For our app we tried the Corn Queso and it was super good! Definitely recommend. My husband and I split a couple of entrees to try something new as we always get the same stuff. This time we got the Holy Burrito with steak, and the Monster S'Mash Burger. The Holy Burrito is MASSSIVE. Easily able to share this and only this between 2 people. Stuffed with all the same usual goodness of a burrito, but topped with a luscious chorizo gravy, pico de gallo, and guac. Absolutely superb, can't recommend enough. The burger was also good but I wouldn't quite call it a smash. The fries are super crispy and yummy! After we wrapped up eating we went into the other half of the building where they have pinball machines, a pool table, and a photo booth. It's a fun spot to vibe and wrap up with another drink. If you haven't been to this Tacoma icon yet, you're seriously missing out.

I ordered the mojo pork bowl and every part of it was flavorful! I think I can speak for my group, that they really enjoyed their food and drinks too! The ambiance is moody and gothic, don't let the name fool you. The bartender and waitress were very friendly, and while ordering at the bar was way, the central area did get pretty crowded later in the night. After reading other reviews, I see I missed out on the photobooth :(. Oh wells, I'll try it out next time!

I gotta bump up my rating for E9. It's become my most favorite brewery in Tacoma…read more I always love coming here and though I try to be fair and rotate and support all of the independently owned craft breweries in town I am always and consistently drawn to come back to E9. Their beers are just so, so good and so different compared to when I first had them when I moved here. So if I break out of the rotation it's almost always to come here. My latest beers here was the Choco Bliss which is a Imperial Stout loaded up with chocolate flavor. It's barrel aged and a real boozy one. This was one I haven't had previously so it was a real treat to get one of those! Another really good beer that I haven't had before until my last visit was the Brown's Point CDA which is a dark ale. This had nice bitter and malty flavors to it. You can also get some fantastic pizzas here and we have gotten many over the course of our visits here. Our last item we had to eat here wasn't a pizza but a stuffed Hungarian pepper with rice. It's considered an appetizer but for us...at least for the current situation it was like having a light lunch. The food here is great and even if you don't want a beer then definitely try out their pizzas!

No matter how busy it gets, the service never feels rushed and you can tell they truly care about the experience they're creating. They also have great merch and events, which just adds to the charm and sense of community they've built. Every visit feels reliable in the best way, you know you're going to get great quality, great vibes, and a place you actually want to come back to again and again. I truly can't recommend E9 enough!

Cooper's hosted one of our Porsche Club breakfast social events, and from start to finish this one was a 10. The food was on point throughout, and considering the size of our group, that's borderline remarkable. Breakfast at Cooper's is flavorful and excellent! Everyone came away impressed, which if you've ever tried to please a table full of hungry car enthusiasts, you know is not a given. Andrea led the service, and she was outstanding. This woman knows how to manage a large, hungry group! To perform this with that kind of calm efficiency is a real skill! The whole team reflected the same energy. They were all attentive, warm, and clearly proud of the place they work in. I can't say enough about the people here. The thoughtful touch that really stood out: Porsche-themed mimosas and breakfast spirits prepared specially for our event. That kind of detail is something a great hospitality team delivers. It set the tone for the whole morning. The space itself is immaculate and the decor is genuinely cool. Those of us who hadn't dined there before were genuinely impressed. Cleanliness here is a point of obvious pride. All in all, Cooper's is a destination for casual quality. Magnificent experience, start to finish, and I can't wait to return!

Don't be fooled by the casual surroundings or utilitarian parking lot. This is a great restaurant with wonderful staff and good food. They have a brunch menu with special items on part of the weekend. My friend got their special brunch lobster bisque. I tried one of their holiday cocktails (those rotate, so the one I tried was going away the next day). If you'd rather not have alcohol, they also offered a delicious hot cocoa. French onion soup was on point. Ambience was quiet and comfortable. We seated ourself and the waitress was on the spot - she kept up with us the whole time, was very helpful and friendly. She is a class act. Thank you, Andrea! Will eat here again.

Not a huge fan of the ambience in Bar Rosa, plywood floors and very dark. We were sat in a booth, and it was as the sun was setting. The windows are all illuminated and beyond filthy (inside) - it was hard not to notice with the windows open and leaning towards our table. I also was the unfortunate one to have the sun straight and my face for about half of our dinner. Service was hit or mess. We waited a long time with no check in for more cocktails. The cocktail choices are great, however, they were out of a particular cocktail my friend wanted to order. We started with the meatballs, not good. The sauce however was phenomenal! Meatballs were just very dense and dry. The appetizer came out not even 5 minutes after our order was put in, so they were lukewarm at best. When we ordered our pizza, they were out of the homemade sausage, this was Saturday night at 6pm???, so we ordered the foraged pizza as is. The pizza was delicious. My friends ordered the Marguerita - crust was a bit over done. Food was good- $30 a pizza good, not in my opinion. Hi, generally do not leave negative reviews- I look for the silver lining at majority of restaurants I visit- but this was a tough one for me. Again- maybe an off night.
