Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza & Mango Habanero Wings
    Brie F.

I wanted Curry On Pizza, but they weren't accepting orders. I looked for something relatively similar and came across, Chicago's Pizza With A Twist. I placed an order for a medium Chicken Tikka Pizza sans mushrooms and Mango Habanero Wings. The food took about 60 mins to arrive which was way too long in my opinion. The restaurant is not that far from my house. It's a 12 min drive which is 2.5 miles away. Perhaps I should've started off with the exorbitant prices. If I did a price vs. quality comparison this place would fail miserably. First off a medium pizza looks more like a small personal pie which cost $18.99. The wing selections are either a 6 piece, 12 piece, or 24 piece. My hunny and I love wings so the 12 piece was out of the question, I ordered the 24 piece and it was $24.99. Why on earth do wings cost more than a package at the grocery store? Literally a $1 plus tax was charged for each wing. The food was just ok. I didn't care for "the twist" and didn't see what the big deal was about. The ingredients clashed with the twist which made it lackluster in the flavorful dept. I wasn't a fan of the crust. My hunny said that the pizza was ok, he liked the crunch of the chicken pieces, but we've been spoiled by C.O.P's pizza and wings. The wings arrived wet which I despise. We recooked the wings to provide that crispy element that was missing. The wings were unbearably hot. I mean I couldn't handle it without dipping it into the ranch dressing. My hunny can tolerate heat/spice rather well and he even made a comment that the wings were really hot.

    Nice & delicious!!

FYI; not an Italian pizzeria !!! This deep dish pizza joint is a mix up of traditional Chicago style with a twist of India seasonings & spices !!! We found this place a few months ago when running the streets to the Van Wyck !!! We tried a deep dish on the fly & really enjoyed it; from the dough to the sauce & the mozzarella !!! Really hit the spot !!! Since then we have eaten here about six times and ordered the same pie with maybe changing up our toppings between Italian sausage & their ground beef .... alway delicious !!! We will be trying their chicken tikka masala pie next time for sure .... they look awesome .... The young guys who run the show are really polite and don't mind going over & explaining their menu to you ... after all this is a dominant West Indian neighborhood, Hence Chicago Style with a Twist !!! The have a huge selection of all different toppings, sauces along with a lot of different vegetables & fresh spices !!! So give them a try when you want to get away from traditional Italian Pizza ... Tip; call your order in so your not waiting ... deep dish pies take about 25 minutes or so & if their busy they can take longer ... they are using a conveyor oven not the deck ovens !!! Just a heads up ... Give this place a try & hopefully we can get their ratings up because I really think they are being short changed !!! The place is always clean and you can see the pies getting made to order; They Currently have an A Board of Health Rating which is always nice to see ... Thanks guys & wishing your business continued growth & success !!! Greg D & Family !!!

I'll pass Chicken Tikka Masala Chicago Style Pizza

I felt slightly intimidated from the look of the place on the outside because it would seem like a middle class to upper class Restaurant but inside, it does look very nice but the setting is very much casual for its basically an upscale Pizzeria. However I didn't have pizza in mind, I went for something bigger and that would be the Chicken Parmigiana along with Root Beer which tallied up to $32 so not too bad. I contemplated about getting Dessert but I ultimately forgone it, which was a good decision in the long run because the chicken parm order was surprisingly hefty. I've gotten used to smaller portions being served in restaurants nowadays and I was expecting I'm gonna be hungry later eventually, but I sure was proven wrong. That meal filled me up proper, a little too proper because I felt absolutely stuffed after eating it all. I'm not one to complain about a good problem. Sure I felt uncomfortable, bloated and sluggish after eating that meal but I will take that any day in the week over feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled because if you're gonna spend $30+ on a meal, you SHOULD get your money's worth and that was a meal I could very well split with two and felt very fine with that. So props to PC for a gut busting meal, for the price I paid for lunch, I should feel like I'm going to spontaneously combust, better that than still feeling empty. That was an amazing meal that I'm STILL feeling the effects of as I write this review going on 8 PM on the same day I ate there at 12:30 PM. The vibe is also solid too, the workers are friendly and service was pretty swift. Took less than 6 minutes for my meal to find my table.

The chicken parm was okay; but the side of pasta wasn't great. The sauce tasted so sweet. The spicy calamari was pretty good. The pork chop was very over sauced and filled with dried cranberries which I found a bit odd. The restaurant itself was very busy. The ambiance was bustling. The service was not solid. My niece waited about 15 mins into us all getting our food for her slice of pizza to arrive. It was so hard to grab our servers attention. All in all the food is okay. But this wasn't the best experience.

Have seen this place for a few years now and always wanted to give it a try but always got busy…read moredoing life. Finally got to try it! The place is charming not big but its really a fast food place not a restaurant. I tried their chicken sandwich and it was amazing! Service was ok and wait times for food were a little slow but nothing bad. Staff were friendly and they work their butts off! I think the only complaint i might have is i wish they had more variety of food, maybe a few simple entree's. Would definitely go back and eat here.

The buffalo chicken sandwich was VERY spicy but delicious. Crisp fries were on point. Wings were large and great crisp lemon pepper rub was just the right blend and the sweet chili was not 'hot' at all (which was great for me). I had the best mozzarella sticks ever with just right marina sauce. Absolutely excellent service. Place was not crowded and thus one person (Anthony) was all roles except the cook and was very expedient! It is a local neighborhood restaurant and thus the ambience reflects that....so while the chairs don't encourage sitting for long time and the outside does not scream come in, the music was really good and had us singing along. When back in NYC, will definitely return.
