I ordered the Cucumber Reviver for my drink and I had the Mexican Street Corn for my appetizer. They were delicious and the customer service was excellent. The server was very nice and attentive. Steak salad , steak had no seasoning no salt. Very bland. Shrimp scampi no taste , I get its white wine , garlic lemon but it's really tasteless. Waiterss hard to find, she finally check up on us when we were almost done with the food. Took forever for the check to come also, like we had all night to wait for the check. She forgot us until I had eye contact with her. Bathroom sink needs to be fixed and toilets shouldn't have giant water bubbles popping up. Weird. Awesome lunch special for $10-15 and can keep you full. The biggest issue this location has is staffing. They are overwhelmed and need more people to attend to patrons. The food is quintessential CPK, similar to other chains like TGI Fridays and Applebees so don't expect fine dining. Service is friendly but slow. You can tell the main waitress does her very best to make sure everyone gets what they need but it's hard since she is the only one! Dining area was comfortable and spacious. We waited about 10 minutes to get seated after a service member told us she'd be "right back" to seat us. She proceeded to chat behind the bar with two of her coworkers for the 10 minutes, until eventually another gentleman got us seated. The menus we received were filthy... covered in some kind of sauce or food (they're laminated, why not wipe them down?) The server herself was very nice and attentive, but when she brought us plates for the bread the plates were dirty and covered in crumbs. The pizza was just subpar. I've been to other locations in the US and never had such a nasty experience.. it just wasn't clean. Went to wash my hands before eating after touching the filthy menu and the soap was out at the hand washing sink in the bathroom. Toilets were all also really dirty looking. This lunch is all for my friend/neighbor and the cost is nothing for me as I want to celebrate her birthday. Patronizing this American casual dining restaurant chain is the closest that I encounter traveling to California or taste Californian influenced cuisine or travel to West Coast. Customer service is attentive as we were check-in during our meal time. Our waitress is accommodating to take photos using our respective phones to raise our glasses for the occasion. Food quality is good. The drink menu is extensive for cocktails which is a nice cool down for a hot humid day. The menu is extensive and large as I took time to make a decision. This restaurant is large and was not busy for a Saturday afternoon. Yes, I can certainty keep the restaurant bill/ claim check. The air conditioning is fully functioning at high extreme artic blast that during our time I became cold. The menu constantly changes as entrées listed are remove for another food trend. The light fixture fend a dim lightly dining atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available, but I highly desire to be inside an air conditioning setting away from the sun. Takeout menu and business cards are available for grabs. Happy Hour is available from Mondays to Fridays 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The restaurant claim check/ bill have the gratuity intervals of 18%, 20%, or 22% printed at the bottom without the need for mathematical calculation. My foodie analysis: Strawberry Rose Sangria $14.00 It was slightly sweet filling a large wine goblet with two slices of lemon. I wished I had ordered the traditional red Sangria, yes I have buyer's remorse again. I would return to California Pizza Kitchen again for the traditional red Sangria. Blueberry Lemon Drop $13.50 A refreshing Martini served chilled garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. The glass fends a red color. The Martini glass was not rimmed with fresh lemon zest. Caesar salad with shrimp, full $22.74 The Caesar dressing was sufficient, but I should have requested additional dressing. The lettuce was fresh as well as the Parmesan shaved cheese which was abundant for quantity. The croutons were weird shape and tasted somewhat stale. I prefer lemon juice embedded on this particular salad. The shrimp was grilled with burnt marks, abundant for quantity but small size. I enjoy salads for healthy diet. This meal sustain my hunger pangs throughout the entire evening. I would never order any salad nor entrée with chickpeas as I despise chickpeas, not my cup of tea. I would return to California Pizza Kitchen again to try their Margherita pizza in crispy thin crust. No thanks for the cauliflower crust pizza, for me. Salmon Piccata $25.99 Salmon with linguini fini pasta, lemon, capers in a lemon cream sauce. I am not a fan of this perennial plant, capers. I prefer basil. I never like olives and very grateful olives is not included in this entrée. My friend/neighbor highly enjoyed this entrée for the good quality and large size salmon that was well prepared without dryness. I have been always enamored with linguini pasta. Chocolate soufflé, whipped cream with vanilla Haagen Dazs ice cream $12.24 One word: delicious. The soufflé was soft, warm chocolate but minimal inner filling and slightly flat. I was hoping for a towering high rise for this classic French dessert. Our waitress separated the ice cream from the soufflé for serving which I was grateful as I despise when the ice cream completely melts on the soufflé. read more

Firm believer that a good waiter/waitress makes all the difference in a dining experience! Fabian was the ultimate employee being attentive personable and quick. 10/10 for the customer service. For quality of food I give it an 8. The bread and oil we received as a complimentary starter was decent and so were the drinks. The pizza however was the star of show. We got a California club and substituted the mayo for ranch and that was the best decision I made all day. The ranch was the perfect topping and added just the right amount of flavor. I'm not sure what happened, but from what we've seen he is a hard working man and we never had an issue with our food or service. The low reviews are right. Compared to other California Pizza Kitchens, the food is horribly overpriced for what you get. Food that is subpar to the California Pizza standard - cheap tiny portions, ingredients that are not fresh, half cooked pizza. Now I know this sounds like a beginning of a complaint, but it is actually the opposite. The manager on duty that night was so sweet and helpful. Runnnnnnn The atlas park location has become a MESS, literally and figuratively. Used to be great. The girl with blue hair at the front is hostile and unaccomodating. Routinely states that there are no tables and the place is short staffed, insisting that people eat at the counter. She suggests eating outside despite most tables having old plates and piles of food on them which when pointed out to her, sarcastically states "so no then?" And smiles sarcastically. There were about 8 tables being served at this very large location and she said there were not enough staff to sit us. After the movies took my folks out for a quick bit to eat. Prior to arriving I went online where they said I could join the wait list which I did and the timeframe was 5 minutes but when I arrived the hostess stated that they do not use the online system. As a customer when using electronic systems to assist with seating fast is great so to hear this upon arrival was a little upsetting especially arrive with senior family members. I went here for lunch on a Wednesday around 3 PM and it was fairly busy. I sat myself at the bar since there was no one there to seat me and I already saw a party of four waiting to be seated. Desiree was my server at the bar and she was amazing great service and so kind and attentive. I highly recommend sitting at the bar if you can because the servers always checking on you. I got the mango cooler which was super yummy. It is a bit sweet, but I do like that. I got the popular avocado rolls, which were OK a bit too greasy and rich for me. And I got the chicken piccata which was amazing, highly recommend. Aside from my experience, I did notice that the bar counter was a little dirty. The floor was also a bit dirty, and from catching conversation around me, it doesn't seem like the service would be great. The fact that there was not a hostess there for 10 minutes is an issue. We watched as all the other servers had just as many tables and customers and they were attentive. Isabel just forgot about us. We wanted to order something else but at that point, we were discouraged. We waited 25 minutes to get her attention as she went to her other tables at least 2x. On 3/21/25 we visited California Pizza as we often do every Friday after my grandson swim class. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. However, this Friday the oven was down and we were the last customers to enter the restaurant . John and the other lady manager did a phenomenal job taking care of the few customers . They kept offering apologies for the slow services and we told them we understood when we sat down. Although we couldn't order the food and drinks we usually have they both did an exceptional job with what we had. The following Friday John even came to our table a for a few minutes to ask if we made it home safely. I think everyone should be recognize for doing a job well done. And John... so sorry we didn't get the other lady manager name .. did an exxellent job and should be recognized for all that they do and did the night. Thank you both. read more

The bartender returned from wherever she had been and began crying and complaining to the whole restaurant about how "her bar" was trashed by the previous bartender. Threw a tantrum. Food is really good here, but service is unfortunately very bad. There's simply not enough staff to serve anyone, so if you're planning on stopping by, expect to wait an hour or two. However, our server was Elijah and he was amazing! One of the most hardworking servers I've ever witnessed and genuinely believe he deserves a raise. First time trying California Pizza Kitchen- and had a good experience. I really liked their thin crust Pizzas- The Original BBQ Chicken pizza came with fresh toppings of Bacon and Cilantro- which heightened the pizza to gourmet status (in my opinion). The Hawaiian Pizza was really tasty as well, brings out the sweet and savory all at the same time. Wait staff was polite and came to check on my table a few times. I also liked the Caesar salad, it has just the right amount of dressing and the croutons were extra crunchy. Overall a good family friendly restaurant serving great pizzas. read more

My first time here over the holidays. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated party of 4. Two adults two kids. I ordered the chicken salad it was delicious and a big serving. Kids meals doesn't offer French fries. Fruit cup or broccoli, but really it's broccoli rab. For kids that's a big difference. I also had a margarita it was okay. Great place to eat dinner on a Saturday evening. The menu has many new additions, including new options for Kids. Upon arrival, it was pretty crowded, and we waited about 15 minutes for our booth. Once we were seated, our waiter came over immediately and she was very nice and attentive. The only downside to the evening was being next to a large party that had an intoxicated Mom, who was practically yelling, and was louder than all the kids at her table combined. Atlas Mall location seems to become more and more disappointing. Just dont go there! I've refrained from going into the restaurant because it's always a wait but somehow half of the restaurant is just empty tables. I guess they dont bother with water or bread and oil service anymore.There's a wait for food but most of the time ingredients are missing. Take -out total disaster!!! I've ordered for a pick up at specific time and upon arriving I had to wait with more than 12 guests crammed in the pick -up area for over 20min past my pick up time . No one by the window nor responding to the bell placed for service there. No one bothered to come up and we heard employees talking and laugjing. Some guests , waiting for over 1/2he, went inside the restaurant asking for help, all were sent back saying " someone will come". We've resorted to calling the restaurant to find out whats going on. Employees picked up the phone right by the window , ignored guests and put everyone that called on hold. Amazingly enough I got my order from very unpleasant/rude employee with some personal hygiene issues and of course everything was cold. I got a phone call from manager with apology after posting a review , complementary $25 gift card was supposed to come...it's been 3mos and Im still waiting ... Their salads are massive , even the half size, their sandwiches and soups are fresh and their pizzas are seriously delicious. Their butter cake is a 10/10 too. As many times I frequent the Atlas Mall I have always bypassed the California Kitchen assuming it was just pizza. To my delight I was totally surprised. I went to eat there today with a friend who recommended it. The service was AMAZING! The waitress was bubbly & delightful! The new manager introduced himself to us. The lady who seated us came by to ask if everything was alright. I was very impressed with the entire place. Great atmosphere and very clean. The food was amazing!
