Oversized slice of cheese pizza....

Went to the Bronx today and grabbed a slice of pizza. Now I've heard tales of giant slices of pizza found in the Bronx but I never had the pleasure, until today. This is the biggest slice of pizza I've seen. This thing was massive. I did not measure the slice but one can easily see this thing is huge. It also tasted pretty good. This does not appear to be a fluke. I heard these slices have been around for a while and with its size and taste it will be around fir even longer.

I am reporting this pizzeria for being dirty! I've purchased pizza from this place before but today will be the last time. My pizza was given to me in a box with what looked like bird poop on the side and cover. They knew this was inappropriate because the box had a joke on top. Since I wasn't the one who picked up the pizza, this was realized too late. I saw this mess, after eating and I became so nauseous and had to fight the urge to vomit. The box has a different name on it for some reason. See below!

Have you noticed that slices have been getting bigger all over the city? Not sure if it's because of Covid or what. At any rate, the slices here are huge, it's almost ridiculous. The owners a nice guy too.

I've always heard about this place, but being a Brooklynite I wasn't going all the way to the Bronx for a slice of pizza. Question: How did I make it here? Answer: I work in the area. I mean a slice bigger than your head for $3, you can't beat that! Slice so big it doesn't even fit on a plate. When it's about to be payday and you're scraping together money to feed yourself, at least if I come here.. I'll be full until I get home from work.

This is by far the most unexpectedly good pizza I've ever had. Does not even need any toppings! And the Slices are not big, they are gigantic!

I've been coming here since I was a kid. The pizzas are huge and taste great! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a tasty slice.

For a place that does slices there's a LOT of searing options, both inside, and this area out the back which is pretty good.

The GOAT of Bronx Pizza. Period…read more If you want to know what real New York City pizza is supposed to taste like, stop looking and get to Louie & Ernie's on Crosby Ave. This isn't just a meal; it's a Bronx institution. The Vibe: Old School & Authentic This place is as "old school" as it gets. It's located in the basement of a house, and walking in feels like stepping back into 1959. There are no fancy decorations or "artisanal" gimmicks--just the smell of fresh dough and a gas oven that's probably seen more history than most museums. * Pro Tip: It is CASH ONLY. Don't be that person who gets to the counter with a card; come prepared. The Pizza: The Best in the Bronx I've had a lot of pizza, but this is easily the best in the borough. * The Crust: Paper-thin, perfectly salty, and has that signature "Bronx fold" with just the right amount of char on the bottom. * The Sausage: This is their claim to fame. They use huge, fresh chunks of sausage that are packed with flavor. It's heavy, it's greasy in the best way possible, and it's legendary. * The Sauce/Cheese: The ratio is perfection. The sauce is tangy and bright, and the mozzarella is creamy and never "rubbery." The Service The staff here are exactly what you want in a legendary neighborhood spot--friendly, fast, and no-nonsense. They keep the line moving, but they treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. Verdict: 10/10. It's simple, it's classic, and it's the king of the Bronx. If you haven't been, you're doing NYC wrong.

I definitely have a thing for their Vodka sauce too How's the food? The meatballs are so good.. Tender.. They fall apart which I like. Not big on huge, dense meatballs anyway.. These things taste amazing! You gotta try them.. The Chicken Parm with spaghetti in Vodka Sauce is one of my favorites dishes The chicken is nice and tender, sauce has a great flavor, cheese is nice and melted, pasta perfectly cooked and it's a pretty big portion! The Mozzarella Sticks are like no other! I'm telling you! They make them fresh on-site.. Not store bought frozen sticks where the cheese pops out the casing.. These things are the real deal.. The cheese is stringy, well melted.. And they're pretty big.. They don't skimp.. Good for like 2-3 people.. I can only eat one myself.. The Pizzas are pretty good too! I really enjoy the entry dishes but if I'm with a group, I'll get a pizza to share. They're pretty small anyway. My favorite dessert is the Conollis! They have a nice airy, light casing.. The ricotta filling is so flavorful and fluffy.. So on point The service staff is always welcoming, accommodating and super cool. Really good crew. The place itself is so chill. Layback atmosphere, some really cool music plays in the background, classic Hip Hop, Funk/Soul breaks and more.. historical art decor fills the walls and vibes are always right in the spot. Might even have some games on the TVs.. great spot altogether.. You can see the Pizza cook in their fire oven.. Pretty cool I think. So if you're looking for a really cool spot to munch at in the Bronx Kingsbridge Neighborhood, you should definitely check out Kingsbridge Social Club. It's a vibe! Have a good one yall! -Ray

An authentic Italian gem on Arthur Avenue…read more Zero Otto Nove was recommended to us by the owner of Titles Brothers, where I regularly go to buy Italian cold cuts and cheeses. It turned out to be one of the best recommendations we've received. My mom, my daughter, and I absolutely loved our experience. The food was outstanding, the wine was excellent, and every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, but the staff welcomed us with a smile and never made us feel rushed. Instead, they took the time to recommend some of their favorite dishes, and every suggestion was delicious. What made the evening even more special was how kind and attentive they were to my daughter. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel truly welcome. If you're visiting Arthur Avenue and looking for authentic Italian cuisine with outstanding service, Zero Otto Nove is a restaurant I highly recommend. Great food, excellent wine, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. We'll definitely be coming back!

We started with the Patate Salsiccia e Provola, and I immediately understood why Italians talk with their hands my mouth was too busy eating to say anything. Crispy potatoes, savory sausage, and gooey provola cheese... comfort food at its finest. For my main course, I had the Pollo Capriccio with a glass of red wine. The chicken was so tender I barely needed a knife, and the wine had me looking around for a Vespa to ride back to the Bronx. The service was fantastic friendly, attentive, and patient enough to let me butcher every Italian word on the menu without judging me. At least not out loud. If this isn't what Italy feels like, don't tell me. I'm happy living in this delicious fantasy. Now excuse me while I search for affordable flights to Rome... or just uback to Arthur Avenue.
