They had a soy, maybe miso, butter sauce with breaded fried onions like the ones I put on my green bean casserole which was a perfect complement. My girlfriend had the Veal & Shiitake Pelmeni sour cream & dill. Delicious and filling. I had a sip of the Orange Dream-sickle cocktail. I would like this for dessert. Once our food was delivered, our waitress performed her most impressive trick of the afternoon: disappearing completely. My water ran out about 10 minutes into battling the Sahara schnitzel and was never refilled--which felt especially cruel considering that entrée required its own hydration plan. To give credit where it's due, the Crimson Revelry cocktail was absolutely delicious, and the fries were very good. Sadly, neither could rescue the rest of the experience. Between the painfully slow service, the vanishing waitress, and the schnitzel that left me both disappointed and dehydrated, I can't see myself ever going back. Grossman's? More like "Gross, man."

We were even graced with multiple conversations with the owner, who gave us the backstory on how he came up with the combination of cuisines. The falafel was light, fluffy, and perfectly fried to highlight the freshness. The lamb skewers and manti were our entrees that we shared. Both dishes were savory and the meat was succulent. The seasoning on the lamb was perfect and was highlighted by the char from grilling. For dessert, we split an order of pistachio baklava with ice cream and two cups of Turkish coffee with a little sugar. We were blown away by the food and service, we spoke of bringing my wife's parents when they came to visit.
