This is a small (inside) restaurant, tucked into the middle of a small commercial center. They have a lot of outside seating. I was greeted and sat very quickly. I chose to sit outside as the day was beautiful. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Fun Guy's omelet that was stuffed with several types of mushrooms, spinach, grilled onions, and added avocado. Loved that the potatoes were very crispy. Also, I ordered a Nutella and strawberry buckwheat crepe. I thoroughly enjoyed everything. It was so good. The only downside to this place is parking. This commercial building has very little and not much street parking either. If still go again. Highly recommend.

We keep coming back because we love the food and portions! The service is always outstanding.

Solid spot for a classic brunch experience. I had the marinated steak salad which was great, and there were some interesting menu items not at traditional brunch spots like a rib eye steak and gumbo. Some of the menu items had portion sizes that were pretty generous like mine, but some like the short rib hash felt a bit smaller. They were able to get an outdoor table set up for 11 very quickly which was much appreciated!

The best scramble ever. Perfect eggs.

I went to buy takeout from this little gem the day before, when my husband and I were squirreled away in a cozy AirBnb. I picked up his favorite "biscuits and gravy" and he was in B&G heaven for hours! So, when leaving town the next day, we decided to sample more of their menu by actually eating in. We had the apple crepe, the Hole in The Wall Scramble, and a cup of their soup of the day - red bean and sausage. The wait staff were amazing both days, taking orders quickly and were so friendly and efficient! Everything was outstanding here. The crepe was aromatic with fresh apples and cinnamon and whipped cream. The scramble came with a side of their potatoes and a homemade biscuit. The scramble had everything you could want in it, with fluffy eggs gently scrambled into the mix of spinach, caramelized onions, red bell, smoked ham and cheddar cheese. Yum! The eggs were perfectly cooked and not rubbery as some eateries struggle top avoid. The potatoes were also irresistible and cooked crunchy with a perfect seasoning. The cup of soup was smokey and hardy with just a little kick. Perfect for a cool day. Gotta check this place out. It was a winning find and we'll be back!

Not such a pretty picture BUT delicious breakfast burrito

5 Stars - Incredible Hidden Gem! This hole-in-the-wall spot is insanely good! We had the country fried potatoes, which were perfectly crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the breakfast burrito with bacon--lightly toasted all around, making every bite amazing. The flavors, the texture, and the care put into the food really stood out. It's the kind of place you find once and immediately know you'll be coming back. Can't wait for our next visit!

This place has always served up solid meals and the employees are friendly, outgoing and sweet. We had a guest here from out of town so decided to stop in for lunch. It was a rainy day so the popular outdoor patio was closed. We were seated in the dining room adjacent to the main area. This is a popular spot in Sebastopol. It is always crowded whenever we stop in. The dining room was full of happy diners on this Wednesday afternoon. The menu is pretty extensive as they serve breakfast all day, and offer a nice variety of lunch and dinner items. They have a well-rounded menu so you can easily find something to suit your cravings. We ordered: Spiced apple crepe Grilled chicken sandwich (pepper jack cheese, pickles, tomato and no onion please) with side salad 2 Mexican combo meals off of their daily specials menu (2 eggs, potatoes, chicken tamale, french toast) The two guys in our group must have enjoyed their Mexican combo meals because they ate every bite and my husband wants to go back for a repeat performance. Our guest really enjoyed her apple crepe and cleaned her plate too! My grilled chicken was good, chicken was a bit dry, but the flavors all blended well and I enjoyed it more the second day after reheating. Our servers were energetic and full of smiles. They have nice friendly personalities and wanted to ensure we had a great dining experience. We usually dine outside when the weather permits and my go-to meal is the portobella mushroom burger with a side of fries. We are regulars and we've never been disappointed. We have brought friends and family here and everyone has always had a satisfying experience. It's wonderful Sebastopol has such a charming "hole in the wall."

Probably 15+ years since I've been back to this restaurant. Getting my car serviced down the road so decided to pop in for breakfast. They have a ton of outdoor seating. Luis greeted us upon arrival. They were getting ready to open. We grabbed a two top in the middle of the patio. Ordered the Short Rib Hash with soft poached eggs added spinach and mushrooms (+$4.00) Had the chance to chat it up with Luis. He shared the restaurant changed hands 6-7 years ago. Staff remained. Food quality is still as good as I remember maybe be better. They have a weekday Happy Hour with tons of options. Might come back for that.

Hole in the wall We were staying up north in Santa Rosa for the weekend to celebrate our friend's anniversary and needed a breakfast spot for Saturday morning. Hole in the wall had great reviews and we decided on that it would be a good place to eat. It's located in a small shopping center with other businesses. Parking was easy and we found a spot not too far from the restaurant. We came a little after 10am and were greeted and sat down right away. We waiter was super cool and friendly. It's feels like a family friendly place also since a few of the patrons knew the staff there and were very friendly with them. I ordered a green tea and the challah French toast ($12) with scrambled eggs, country fried potatoes and ham. Our order came pretty quickly and my food was delicious and my friends enjoyed theirs as well! I loved how attentive our waiter was in checking up on us and refilling any water or coffee we needed. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!

On the wall was a chalkboard with the list of local farmers and vendors that they used to supply their restaurant. I loved how fresh and flavorful all the food was, but I loved their collaboration with small local business owners to provide them with things like eggs and dairy. I had an omelette with spinach, caramelized, tomatoes, chicken sausage, and goat cheese. This was one of the most delicious bites I've had at a breakfast spot in a long time. We also shared an order of beignets that came with some fresh apple butter, which was to die for! It felt like taking a bit off fall weather if that makes sense. My boyfriend had some biscuits and country gravy with a side of sausage and fried eggs. He loved everything that he ate as well. He also had a bloody Mary, which was made with Soju. The flavor and quality was top notch and you hardly missed the vodka from the drink. Our server was very friendly, and he offered some insight into the quality of the Soju and the vendors that they work with. I just really loved the care that this restaurant put into not only service but the food that they're producing.

We ordered huevos rancheros with orange juice, and a caprese sandwich with a side of soup. The eggs were tasty, but it wasn't very hearty. I was hungry again within an hour. Lots of colorful sauce arranged around the dish, most of it wasted. The sandwich had the aoli, even though The Wife asked for it without. The sandwich was hearty, but kind of a mess. Assembled like someone wanted to leave. The space is attractive, with interesting local art on the walls, but frankly the prices ($20 for the eggs, $27 for the sandwich, $7 for a small juice) were out of line.

Of course when I first heard about this place, I was intrigued. It's called Psychic Pie for god's…read moresake. (FYI, I'm super woo :)) Then, my sister-in-law raved about it, declaring it the best pizza she's ever had. (Or something incredibly declarative like that.) We decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, Fugazi was playing in the shop. That was a good sign. When do you ever hear Fugazi playing at an establishment nowadays, the last time was probably in a record shop in the 90s. The pizzas are displayed, and you choose how much of each pizza you'd like and they will cut some off for you and it is priced by weight. Then, they heat it up for you to melt the cheese, and viola! Served with cloth napkins, pizza scissors, if desired when eating-in. (Truly the most brilliant way to cut pizza!) Immediately, I saw "OG Potato" and that was a must have. It was something like Potato, ricotta, chile oil, mozzarella, dill. (Just to cut to the chase on this one, it was incredible! I am obsessed with ricotta, and there was something about all the combination of flavors especially the dill that gave some freshness amongst the rich taste of everything else.) Others we got were the pepperoni, a 4 cheese, and a vegan one with no cheese, just tomato sauce, roasted garlic, olives (there may have been other stuff on it, but that's what I remember) Everything was incredible, even the vegan one. The tomato sauce was so high quality, and I was glad there wasn't any vegan cheese on it. Just veggie tastiness in its purest form. The sourdough crust was light and fluffy. It was all just so high quality, and you can feel the passion for their food. Oh yeah, I almost forgot a big star: the Kale Caesar. Don't sleep on that one. It's one of the best salads we've had in years. It was flavorful, with bits of sunflower seeds to give it crunch. Dressing was on-point with a mountain of fluffy parm on top. And so here's the thing with the current state of eating establishments. There is so much expensive mediocre food out there. Nowadays, you may pay $12 for a salad that's out of a bag with wilted ends and sorry baby carrots. And so, considering there's a place that's putting beautifully intentional food out there, I'd rather choose to go to the place that is high quality and cares about their food and sustainability. We topped off our experience with soft serve and a cookie. The soft serve was amazing. We got it 'eat-in' and it was high quality soft-serve in a whimsical cup and presidential spoons. (Love the sustainability angle, but also the whimsy) You can get it with olive oil and sea salt and other toppings, but I went pure. It was milky and homey, and just gooood. (My hubs wanted the cookie) Not to mention, service was genuine. There was a slow, no-rush vibe to this place that might piss some people off. But given its name, I feel like it's apt. It's Psychic Pie for god's sake, and the ethereal does not rush. In the ethereal, time doesn't exist!!! (lol) You can feel that every part of this establishment is in the vision of its owner, wanting the experience to be a part of their authenticity and values. And we need more of that in this world right now. (And I don't mean some skewed sense of 'authenticity' as in just saying whatever comes to mind and is 'in your face' that has infiltrated our society today) This is true authenticity I'm talking about - an expression of your own Light essence. (See, I told you I'm woo) Speaking of which, the music continued to be my jam at my time here... likely to be a Pixies radio mix, with awesome 90s punk / indie. Some songs I hadn't heard in decades but love. So, it was like entering into someone's establishment that's part of my soul tribe. So, if any of the above sound like your jam too... give it a try!
