I've always passed by Pizzarella Grille whether it be when I am going to Rita's or The Bagel Factory. I have always thought about wanting to go, but never actually went. However, after reading the glowing "Review of the Day" on Yelp for Pizzarella Grille, I finally decided to check it out. I walked in today and was given a nice Hello by a man who appeared to be the owner or manager. While they didn't have any large overhead menu boards, they did have some small paper menus, which were very easy to see. I ended up going with the chicken fresco served over fresh noodles! The chicken fresco was delicious with a nice, tender inside while the outside was fairly crispy, but not overly crispy. The noodles were very soft, but full of flavor especially due to the homemade cream sauce. Even better, it can with a nicely sized, side-salad that was absolutely delicious! The lettuce was of nice quality and had fresh toppings including tomatoes and carrots! It even came with a couple of Italian rolls. All of that was only $15, which was really great. Inside the restaurant is very nice, especially for just a simple takeout style place. There is a large-TV and comfortable booths! They also have a nice soda machine with a wide variety of drinks. Altogether, this is a great place to get fresh, quality pizza, salads and sides!

Really solid and decent pizza neighborhood shop. Try their salad, pasta, pizza and cheesesteaks. Friendly owners and staff too. I am typically getting cheesesteaks there and a cannoli too. Mostly takeout but you can also sit and eat your food there if you like.

Pretty good pizza place. Fairly clean, very fast delivery. Above average cheesesteak and really good french fries.

If none of those appeal to you, your only alternative is to choose a pasta with a standard sugo (tomato sauce). There are also a couple of sandwich options, but those are limited as well. There's little to no flexibility--if it's not on the menu, they're not likely to accommodate substitutions or custom requests. That said, the two young men I encountered were both professional and not snarky at all in relaying the limitations. It was what it was. I went with rigatoni in sugo, topped with grated Parmesan. The pasta was excellent--perfectly al dente, and the sauce had great flavor and consistency. Authentic and well-prepared. That said, the downsides are hard to ignore. The portion was relatively small, and with a bottle of Italian soda, the total came to $22.58--closer to $30 with tip. There's also no complimentary bread. Focaccia is available for $5, but it didn't look particularly appealing (a bit dark and overly crisp), though I didn't try it. Pros: * Delicious, authentic Italian pasta * Perfect texture and well-balanced sauce * Clean, attractive trattoria setting Cons: * Very limited menu (pasta and a few sandwiches) * No customization or flexibility * Price feels high for the portion size * No complimentary bread Overall, a tasty experience, but the limited menu and value may not work for everyone.

Giovanni's Pizza & restaurant is next door is owned by the husband of Mercatino's. Both places serve really good food! My bad experience there today was due to how LONG it takes to order, pay for, and get your food. WAY to long. Plus, everything is overpriced. They make you order from one of two kiosks. Kiosk ask some odd questions that force you to go to the counter to ask things like, what is pressed hot? By the time the lady had time to answer my question, my order was timed out and I had to start all over. Then my chicken cutlet ssandwich comes with broccoli rabe, but the kiosk suggested I add it and pay more for it. WHAT? The friendly lady came out from behind the counter to help me with the order. Then she asked for my email address and phone numberto complete the order. WHAT? She claimed I HAD TO input my phone number and email address to complete my order - WHAT??I We argued a minute and I said I just want to buy my sandwich which doesn't require giving out my email and phone numbeI. I finally completed my orderand asked at the counter what's next. The lady behind the counter says here's your reciept, you have to go up front to the cashier pay for it 1st. I said what the heck and she explained someone walked out, not paying so this is their procedure now. So, okay, I walked to the fron register, presented my nvoice and paid. So, again I ask what's next. The cashier hands me a paid for sticker and said go back to the counter in the rear to get your food. Okay, so I walked back to the rear counter to discover they hadn't started to assemble my sandwich yet. So, I milled aroiund with other confused looking customers waiting for their food. 20 minutes later I got my food and FINALLY left. The food is good but very expensive, the staff is friendly, but I'll never go thru that again. Their bakery is exceptional but they get it from La Dolce Vita Italian bakery in Wescoville, it's a great Italian bakery in Wescoville. Their bread comes from NY and itself is worth the trip there. The frozen section is exceptional as well. Just don't order a sandwich unless you have the day off or like me, are retired!
