Let me start with how amazing the serving was. My niece started crying and waiter came rapidly and gave her colors and stickers which calm her down for the rest of the night. I was there for a birthday dinner of 10 guest, absolutely recommend reservations as it is a small place. This was on a Thursday and we got complimentary wine; food was delicious. Wanting to try a different restaurant that our usual to go place, we gave Pizzarello a chance. Ill start with the hilight of the evening, the service is really nice. The cleanliness of the restaurant is not that great, we received all of our courses with plates stained with fingerprints and other stuff, we were a party of three and two of our plates had huge chips on them. The presentation of the food was not very appealing, everything looked like thrown into the plates without effort. We ordered a pizza with ham and mushrooms, an amatriciana pasta and a chicken piccata, the pizza was the only thing we liked, liked but not loved, it was ok, the amatriciana was not amatriciana, the sauce was a bolognese mixed with very little pancetta, nothing near to what an amatriciana is, and lastly the Piccata, it was inedible, the premade sauce was so sour and salty, a galon of water and high blood pressure were knocking on the window where we were sitting, the chicken cutlets were Perdue at it's best and drier than a week old bread left out in the sun. To end they kind of have a fly problem, they were hovering around us accompanied by some fruit flies as well. This type of situations sometimes makes me over think how does a place like this restaurant has such good and so many reviews, having a total diff experience. read more

This place had good reviews and I saw it was a woodfired pizza oven. This usually means a nice thin crispy crust. But not here. Flavor was good, but this pizza was very oily, so much so that the underside of the pizza box had oil soak through. Crust was OK around the edge, but the rest was very doughy and soft. It was thin though, so not sure how that happens. Needed a spatula to pick up a slice and put it on a plate. Had to use a fork and knife, because you could not pick up a slice with your hand and eat it. All the toppings would just slide off. Really a shame, because the flavor was good. But crust should be crispy enough to pick up a slice. Maybe the non pizza dishes are better. read more

Amazing pizza. The size of the pizza is more on the personal side but good enough for two if you order an appetizer. Really really good. We ordered like 5 different pizzas and the Soppressata topped them all, but they are all delicious. Service was also spectacular as it is a small place which helps. The tomato sauce was good, and the fiochetta was done well. I had a bad experience with the bill, in which they overcharged me and did not want to fix the mistake on their part. We ordered a Margherita and Chicken Pesto. The prices are reasonable for the quality and service. Plus on Tuesdays there is free Nutellino Pizza! Dinner at Pizzarello tonight was amazing! Everything from being greeted by the staff and owner, Rubens, upon walking into the restaurant, to the meal and service, was absolutely amazing. Our server, Ili, was also very sweet and attentive throughout our entire time at the restaurant. My husband and I went to this little Italian restaurant on Saturday April 27th. I came here once on a weekday but had to leave because there was no parking. My husband and I wanted to enjoy a date night without any kids and I picked this place based on the reviews and the fact that it's next to our house. When we got there it was full so we had to wait about 15-20 minutes to be seated which is okay. Once we were seated we were asked by a black haired young waitress what we wanted to drink and we quickly placed our order. I noticed that the menu mentioned that the dish I ordered which was the chicken parmigiana came with garlic rolls and a salad. This same black haired waitress asked if we wanted the house salad and we said yes. I thought she had asked because I thought maybe they had another option for the salad. The salad was good and shortly after we got our food. So far everything was perfect. We got our food by another blonde waitress. As soon as she left I realized we never got our garlic rolls. My husband and I tried for a while to get the attention of the blonde waitress but she never looked our way so I was a bit frustrated and I signaled to the lady who sat us which I think was the manager. I told her that we never got the garlic rolls and she said they usually ask the customer if they want it before bringing it because people usually never want it. But in our case we were never asked if we wanted it or not. So, this was already not a very good experience considering that I would've liked to enjoy the garlic rolls with my salad or at the beginning of my meal and it's frustrating to enjoy your food while trying to get someone to look at you with your finger up. My husband and I had to eat slow in order to avoid finishing before getting the garlic rolls which were one roll for each. The whole time we were eating the blonde waitress never bothered coming to ask us if everything as okay with our food. My husband and I noticed that she went several times to the table right behind us to ask them if everything was ok. Then she would walk past us without looking at us and asked the people in front if everything was okay. I remember telling my husband is this lady purposely ignoring our table? I'm not one to think bad of people so I let it go then she did it again. She asked the people behind us if everything was okay walked past us and then asked the other people. Considering that I barely exchanged any words with this lady when she brought our food I was curious as to why in the world she was doing this to us. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the lady who brought our garlic rolls who looks like the manager probably brought to her attention her missing our garlic rolls and in a form of revenge she ignored us but I couldn't ask her for our garlic rolls cause we tried to get her attention but she never looked our way. This experience messed up our little date night which is so hard for us to have as a busy couple with kids. The food was good but honestly I can get that type of food at another place where I will get good service. It's so sad how a bad waitress can destroy the experience at a restaurant. I was so upset I didn't wait to get the check and got up to pay and made sure to tell the manager lady why I left no tip. My husband and I are good tippers and we've never left zero tip. So, this tells you how upset we were. Can you imagine going to a restaurant with the only time the waitress comes to your table is to take your order and drop off your food. read more
