The pizza was extremely overcooked. This happened last time I ordered a pizza from them as well. It would be a good pizza if they didn't cook it too long. Half of the pizza was so dry you couldn't eat it. I guess I keep looking for a good pizza. read more

Ordered a deep dish and an individual pizza for pickup. Food was ready when they did it would be and was done of the best pizza I've ever had. Staff was very nice. Prices are super reasonable too, especially for deep dish. Can't wait to enjoy our leftovers tomorrow. read more

Disappointed. First time with their pizza, in Lowell, IN. Disappointed. Ordered from their posted website for the Sunday Special. Large pizza with 3 toppings. Should have been charged as a Medium Pizza, per all their posted ads and advertisement. Also, they advertise both at their website and menu that consumers on Sunday could order their EXTRA Large pizza, for the price of Large. Ordered a LARGE and priced as Medium. To the typical Consumer, this is misleading as I ordered large with 3 toppings and was charged for a large pizza. When I inquired as to why I was charged full price, base from their menu and ads on Facebook and Website, I was told that the menu given to me in Lowell, was from their pizza shop in Lockport, IL I was told that their ads, Facebook and Internet ads, did not apply to the Lowell, In shop. Pricing- I'm guessing based on their ads, Facebook Advertisments and Internet Advertisements, pricing is not always what is posted. Taste- Taste, is a matter of preference. My thin crust pizza with 3 toppings, tasted like a pizza. Nothing special, compared to other Chicago Pizza Restaurants, I've tried. Communications- The Lowell Indiana location is using a Cell Service as a business line for ordering pizza and food. That means if they are busy, you have to leave a message to place an order or your call is automatically disconnected after several rings (giving one the impression that they hung up on you.) Payment- Cash Only. (who uses cash these days) Keep in mind, this was my experience. My only experience with Pizza At The Point. I can't and won't speak for others. For me, I'll make the trip back to Old Mill, John's Pizza, Langel's, Malnati's, Uno's or Aurelio's. Pizza Industry, is a tough and very competitive business. Often, you only get one chance with a pizza lover to try and test YOUR finished product. Location, Taste, Price and Service are the determining factors in making one's final decision. Pizza is good. The better option in Lockport but customer service is strange. Entered the establishment and no one was at the front for a solid 10ish minutes. When I was greeted I was paying for my pizza with cash since it's a cash or check only joint. They definitely need to to rephrase that policy because the don't accept all cash. Was told they only accept small bills. When you're buying $60 worth of pizza I don't understand how I can't give you a $50 bill. Been in Lockport for 15 years and never tried this place. I saw they had a deal every day for an XL 2 topping pizza for $21.00, so I tried it. The pizza was great and the sauce was too! Interesting location and setup inside. If your pizza isn't ready yet, you can play piano, guitar, pool etc. This is my new favorite spot over Mangia pizza. Definitely worth a try. read more

This was my first time trying this place and I was greeted by a very nice woman who explained to me it was cash only which was fine. I'm glad I had it on me because my family was craving pizza. They didn't have slices because business is slow but no problem. I was ready to order a whole pizza then. It was absolutely amazing! My 10 year old LOVED IT!! The sauce was so delicious and the pizza was cooked perfectly with a crisp! Definitely will go back and order again. I thought this establishment deserved to know how much we enjoyed it so I gave her a call to tell her. Order a couple different things for dinner. Went to pick it up and the bag was stapled shut. So I go to look in the bag but the only way to open the bag is rip it open. The lady got mad and offended by me checking my order. The next time I tried to order she refused to take me order. Stop stapling the bags closed Karen. Same with the pizza they put it in a bag and stapled it closed. People up here are extremely rude and don't know how to treat customers. The pizza has very little toppings on it. I found this place on Yelp but found it had moved to a new location North State Street. I came here in mid-January to order carryout and waited for the pizza to be made. They have a lounge set up and a big screen TV set up to help kill the time. There was also a pool table but it was being "used" by 5 or 6 kids who spent most of the time running around indoors. The pizza was delicious. I liked the crust, cheese and toppings. The sauce was bit much and almost too overpowering. However, overall, it was very good. read more

Hands-down the BEST Pizza Lockport has to offer! We've tried them all (it took us two years due to the abundance of Pizza Places around here) and We just kept returning to Pizzeria at the Point. Their prices are great and delivery is FAST! The owners and/or employees are all nice and friendly too. I wish they were still located on their "point" (the triangle corner where Divison street intersects with 13th st. & Lincoln) which is closer to my house and where their name actually made sense :) However, their new location is larger and much better for their growing business which includes a game area with a pool table, a large-screen TV and seating. Last summer they put in a sand-filled volleyball pit outdoors too! The other items on their menu have been delicious as well and most importantly, (well, to me anyway), is that they have french fries! I MUST have french fries with my pizza! I am on a quest to find the best pizza in the burbs, and I'm sorry to say Pizzeria at the Point didn't bring it! The boy and I walked in, and there was this very stale odor in there, and it was quite muggy. I thought to myself "Why don't you guys have the air conditioning on?" "It's July people!!!!" The boy and I ordered slices to go. There was No way in hell I was going to eat in there, and have a heat stroke. The thought of someone making food and sweating over it is really grossing me out as I type this. The lounge area is kind of cool though. Pizzeria at the point has a television area, and pool table! The pizza wasn't good. It clearly had been sitting in the case for quite some time. It was soggy. I know taste is subjective but this is by far the best pizza in Lockport. It is thin, crispy and delicious. I have tried every place in town and find this to be far superior to any of the alternatives. The delivery is usually pretty quick and always reliable. Turns out today I am a Pizza-ologist. I greatly enjoyed this pizza. As a scholar of the round sauced arts I can safely say this is in my top three pizza places that delivers to my house. Definitely in the top two of the Lockport offerings. The pizza was delightful. It was like walking down the streets of Napoli if Napoli was my kitchen and it smelled like delivery pizza and beer. But the sauce to cheese ratio was as perfect as one can get by just winging it, and the proximity to the edge of the crust was breathtaking. The sauce itself was sweeter with a hint of needing more garlic, yet I didn't want more garlic. That was because we also got the cheesey-breadsticky-thing I don't remember what it was called but the first thing I thought was "I'm gonna eat you". It was basically a slightly less thin crust pizza with no sauce and garlic everywhere, twice. But in such a good way that it went before the pizza did. In my fake certified opinion you would be foolish to not at least give this place a chance. read more

Been going to pizza at the point for year n have never been treated n talked to from the owner no less so rudely!! I received one refund for pizza that was hard as can be n complained twice.. I was told by this owner that she was here to make money not refund me for my complaints.. she would not allow me to talk n yelled at me continuously how she was not happy with my complaints n my refund.. told me to find another pizza place to order... so all I can say is do not complain .. I grew up in Chicago down the street from a pizza place called The Pizza Kitchen (near 51st & Talman, then 59th and Kenneth) . They had the best thin crust pizza around, however closed after several years at the new location. Fast forward 10 years, I now live in Lockport. A friend recommended we try this place and since we drive by there daily we figured we'd stop in. The guy behind the counter was great once we told him we were trying it for the first time. He even gave us a slice to eat while we waited for our pizza to be made. Once I bit into it, I said OMG, it's Pizza Kitchen all over again, thin crust, crispy - with just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. We recently had some friends over from the old neighborhood, and ordered from the Point. They were all excited and agreed that the pizza was dead on made like Pizza Kitchen. Now they plan on coming over more often or taking a detour to get pizza from here! Awesome job, you've got some new customers! read more
