Food was delicious here great atmosphere we highly recommend their pizza. We ate at the sports bar right beside it.

Overall, a solid little pizza/ice cream place in Munds Park. Since Munds Park is so small, this is like one of three restaurant choices (and I believe the only pizza joint) within about 15-20 minutes of the area, so not much to compare it to. My wife and I got a half hot honey + pepperoni and half tomato and onion pie, and the kids got a cheese pie. The pizza was pretty good, but nothing spectacular that'll knock your socks off by any means. The hot honey + pepperoni was great, and the hot honey definitely had some kick to it! The tomato and onion was average and about what you'd expect. We also got some ice cream. I got the peaches and cream, which was delicious. I only got one scoop thinking it'd be the right amount... which was totally wrong - I should've doubled up because it was delicious! REALLY really disappointed in my experience tonight at one of my favorite pizza places we got a half Gary's half sports mund and the half of the sportsmund was supposed to only have a drizzle of the Mike's hot honey and it had a drenching instead.. tons of Mike's hot honey, causing a puddle under the pizza. I called and explained the situation to the girl on the phone at 7:45 and she told me that she would remake me a personal pizza of the sportsmund with no Mike's hot honey. We ordered a large pizza and the Gary's half was fine so she said she would just make a personal pizza out of the half that wasn't made sense ... Then she called back five minutes later and said that she would need to have the whole pizza back. We ordered a large pizza so to get a personal pizza and exchange for the large pizza that they messed up on made no sense!!!. When we explain that to her, she said sorry that is the policy, so we told her that we were NOT going to do that because that was not right and she said sorry Have a good night.!!!! this is our favorite pizza place and we are not having a good night! It appears that they closed five minutes ago at 8 pm and that they chose to not stay late to make things right... this is not about the pizza not being good because the pizza is really good. What should have happened here is they should have offered us a credit for the half of the pizza that was not edible for the next day and let us know that they were closing and gave us this option instead of acting this way about it . This is not a way to stay in business, especially in a seasonal town ! I have been waiting for this location to open for a long time and was extremely excited about going there, and this has extremely disappointed me!!! Came in to Demarco's and sportsmund to see a friend and mentor of my son's sing and play guitar. Lots of drink options at the full bar including several always offered specials. Your server in the bar will process your food order as well as drinks. Very loud and crowded in the bar at 7-9 PM on a Friday night. Food was good, enjoyed the wings which came with carrot sticks and ranch dressing. The pizza was tasty, generous toppings. The wait for pizza at 7:30 was 45 minutes to an hour so heads up, don't wait to place your order if you're hungry. We will come back the next time we're in the munds park area. read more

They are just now open and we are excited to have a new food establishment in town as Munds Park is such a great community but unless you are a member of Pinewood Country Club, there is no real decent food. We tried this place yesterday and the pizza was average for the most part. We had gluten free pizzas and while the crust was good, the toppings were sparse and not all that tasty. I ordered sausage, mushrooms and extra cheese. When it arrived you would think they thought I said "no cheese." It was disappointing. Our friends had a pizza that looked good as it was half sausage and half pepperoni. Looked better and they seemed to find it good. We ordered two old fashions and I hate to say it but it had to be the worst I have had. They filled it with tiny ice cubes and it tasted like mostly water and with a maraschino cherry - a no no for bourbon drinks. They need the higher end cherries. What was quite good was the order of fries zucchini. That was fabulous! So, at first blush they were average but I am hoping as they find their rhythm that they make improvements in food quality/taste and make drinks more professionally. We will be back as we want them to succeed! Update - So we went back and tried the wings and a salad and got fried zucchini again. I did not take photos as I forgot my phone but the wings were good as we got hot and teriyaki. They were quite good and the salad was a cobb Italian type salad and was good. The service was good as the staff is mostly very young a newer servers but they were friendly and checked in to. E sure things were good and to our liking. It is a cute place and has two pool tables. They are too close to the seating as a customer had to move out of the way a handful of times or would have been hit so they do need to figure that out. All in, they are a hair above average so far but again - pretty much the best thing in town. I want them to do well and will see how they progress. read more

My friend and I came in to eat and sat on the sports bar side. There is a sticker on the menu stating they are not responsible for service fees. Like most people, I assumed that meant an automatic gratuity for larger parties. That was my mistake for not asking beforehand. However, after speaking with the manager, I found out the fee doesn't even go to the server--it goes directly to the restaurant. To make matters worse, the service was extremely disappointing. I work in the restaurant industry, so I understand how busy things can get, but we were barely checked on throughout our visit. We could see her sipping her drink and talking with co workers as we were sitting there trying to be patient and waiting for her to come back over which took quite a bit of time. When we asked the food runner for water, she told us our server would have to get it, then walked right past our server without mentioning anything. After waiting even longer, I finally had to get up and ask for water myself. The server handed me a cup and pointed to the self-serve station, saying, "the self serve is right over there" When I called afterward to speak with a manager about why the bill was so high, I could clearly hear our server speaking negatively and rudely about us in the background. That level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. Between the hidden fees, poor service, and rude staff, I would not recommend dining on the sports bar side. If you decide to try this place, stick to the to-go side--it has different ownership and provides a much better experience. read more

The pizza is always very good. The antipasta salad has always been one of our favorites. However, last night the antipasta was almost all mixed greens with very few pieces of meat, olives, peppers, etc. What a disappointment. The past antipasta salads were loaded with all kinds of good things. Additionally, our friend ordered french fries and they were going to charge him for ketchup. WHAT??? A charge for ketchup?? Really. Sounds like they have been paying attention to the extra charges at the club last year. read more

Combined with SportsMunds this is a very welcome addition to Munds Park! Fun bar with a jukebox app, lots of seating, and great drinks and service, and you can order a Nimarcos pizza! Nimarcos ice cream is a huge hit. Love that they are now in Munds! read more

New in Munds Park it was nice to have another option. Friendly service and decent pizza. The zucchini was definitely a favorite. Sadly we threw 20 wings out. They were cooked weird and a light skin color even sauced. The chicken seemed cooked but skin was not appetizing at all. There is a carry out section where you can also get ice cream and then there's a bar atmosphere restaurant connected. Parking can be tricky but it's an easy walk from the street. read more

So I honestly like the pizza and the pretzel bites. BUT both times I went there I was on the toilet all night. At first I thought it was something else but what confirmed to me it was their food was a conversation I had with another person and after eating there they had the exact same situation after. I'm sad because both times I ate there I had this issue and I honestly do like the food, but something is causing this almost like cross contamination or raw food contamination idk but vomiting and shitting x2 are not worth me trying it again! Been in Munds Park now for 15 years and have seen many changes. Really like the concept here and for the most part everything has been pretty good. Beer is cold and the drinks put together pretty well. NiMarco's is a nice addition and their food better than average but not great. I am sure they are still getting their process down. The reason they don't get better than 3 stars is every time we have been in (4 trips now) we sit at the bar and it takes forever to get acknowledged. Its almost a standing joke with us now. The bartenders walk around in a bit of a daze with their eyes down. Its almost comical. We sat down Saturday about 3 when the bar was not very busy. The two young ladies working behind the bar probably did 10 trips around the bar and never said a word. The manager or maybe owner literally stood 5 feet from us washing glasses and never once said a word to us but had a nice conversation with someone he knew. Once they finally say hello, they are fairly attentive but every time we have been in we have been on the verge of leaving before someone says something. Yes they are young and I am sure getting help here is tough but a little training here would go a long way. At least designate someone to keep their eyes up. I will tell you younger better looking folks seem to get acknowledged pretty quickly but its us old guys who spend more and tip better. Will definitely be back and totally hoping to raise my review to 5 stars. read more
