So glad I was finally able to get a chance to try this place! Me and my husband are total foodies and get excited when new restraunts open near us. We both love pizza and are pretty picky when it comes to it, but the menu looked delish and regret putting this place on the back burner for so long. Finally at work I had a BBQ pizza craving and asked my husband if he wanted to try OutLaw Pizza. He agreed and we got the 14th inch BBQ pizza minus onions and the hot buffalo wings and cheese bread. I ordered online seamlessly and he picked it up at the alloted order time. (Outlaw Pizza is formerly in the Farm A GoGo suite) He said pizza was just coming out when he arrived and the total was very reasonable for that amount of food. I love the whole online ordering process amd how you can pay online as well. Now for the food... pizza did indeed taste homemade, fresh, flavorful, it was perfect. Definitely one of the best BBQ pizzas ive ever had in my life. Cheese bread was yummy and I loves their homemade red sauce. Hot wings tender, juicy, saucy, except I ordered hot and they were definitely more on the mild side! Food was meh; not at all bad but just 'middle road'. Went first for girlfriend's lunch. Service was exceptional and the group enjoyed the lunch. Called ahead for pizza as was passing by on way home; not noteworthy, but no desire to return. Ambiance was nothing to get excited about. Front desk for pick up is first upon entry. Great New Stop for Za or Ribs! While visiting the area I came across a brand new Pizza Place near my normal go to burger stop, and dang happy I did. Location: Easy to find, 1/4mi SW from intersection of Cornville, Road & Page Springs. Plenty of parking, and the lot that's roomy enough for pickups, sprinter vans, and other large vehicles. Ambiance: Welcoming feel with a modern western look. Friends and family style bench seating along the windowed wall and 4 tops in the rest of the room makes it cozy place for a meal. Outside a few 2 top tables line the building wall while a large picnic area lay adjacent to the restaurant. Customer Service: Very welcoming staff and owners made it comfortable just being there. Food: Just tried the pizza and a canned soda so the food review will be limited until I have a chance to update it on a future AZ visit. PIZZA: Our group tried the meat lovers and a Hawaiian. Crust was tasty with thin crisp floor and chewy edge/bone. Sauce was good but like the cheese a little thinner than I usually prefer. Still, really good Za for a good price. But since not much else to comment on I'll have to stick to 4 Stars - for now. Cleanliness: The small space makes it easy for staff to keep the tables freshly wiped and clean. I chose the mac and cheese. Took my little dog for a walk around the property while waiting. My order amazingly took only 10 minutes! Suspiscious? Got my, unfortunately plastic, carryout box, home (5 minutes away) & gasped at the size of the sandwich, which I knew right away I would only finish half. The delicious barbecued pulled pork had migrated lavishly abundant, out from the confines of the exceptionally delightful bun into the flats of the takeout box. Wow! I was impressed. When I walked in I was immediately greeted and they had my pizzas ready for me right there. Calzones are like eating a salt block! Way too salty! Tried it at least five times because that's what the kids order. Pizza sauce is already salty, then they dump more salty seasoning on top. The first time we went got a pizza and antipasto salad. Both yummy (pizza had a couple burnt spots on the crust, they said they're aware and are working on the oven temp). Had the pepperoni pizza and it was fantastic. Beautifully charred and crust was crispy and airy. The tomato sauce sweet and bright with a sprinkling of herbs that added a nice touch. I usually never leave reviews but it seems like they're fairly new and it would be a darn shame if they didn't receive recognition because a lack of reviews. I just had lunch at Outlaw Pizza and BBQ with some friends. Overall everybody loved what they ordered - myself and another friend had the pepperoni calzone, 3 had pizzas and one had the special roast beef sandwich. The service was wonderful. One of the pizzas was requested to be thin crust but it came out no different than the other pizzas. Those who ordered pizzas enjoyed them. My friend said the roast beef sandwich and split pea soup was delicious. The calzone was very good and big enough to split. My main complaint, which is why I removed two stars from my review was that one friend and I just ordered water to drink. Our glasses of water came, no problem. When we got our bills, we were both charged for bottled water. When we questioned the charge, we were told that they always charge for water since they use bottled water. There was no mention of this anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant. I have never been charged for a glass water anyplace else (especially in Arizona) and that made Outlaw Pizza and BBQ a bit off putting to me. If you're going to serve me bottled water AND charge me for it, then bring me a bottle of water. Or at least tell me that you're going to charge me. I find this a deceptive practice and probably will not frequent this restaurant again because of it. While we are only talking about $1.50, it's a hidden charge that did not go unnoticed by me or my friend. read more
