Delivery order took over an hour and a half. Was the wrong pizza. Sub-par customer service. Food quality is ok. I wouldn't recommend.

My office ordered a pizza for lunch. Ordered at 11:30, told it would arrive by 12:14. By 12:30, when it had not arrived, I called and was told 'it was a busy day and it would be there shortly.' Worst pizza ever. Their sandwiches & calzones aren't much better. Had a chicken calzone that was loaded the inedible parts (gristle) of the chicken. They didn't even bother to cut it off. Great pizza here! The best part is they have gourmet pizzas that go above and beyond a normal pie. We've had the Florentine, Grilled Chicken, BBQ Chicken, and Hawaiian -- all were excellent. I had the Steak Monster more than a few times...mouthwatering steak and pizza in the same bite. A must try for all. read more

Downhill fast. Used to be the best in town, now it's hit or miss and it ain't cheap enough to be hit or miss. And the service is terrible. Example: I get a chicken parm sub. When I opened it - it had no sauce. I called and told them. They say " the person that ordered it said put the sauce on the side" - which is something I would never, ever think of doing. Then he comes back on the phone and says " We put the sauce on the side with a braided roll". ( which is of course-stupid-but OK). So - basically - you just lied to me by saying "the person that ordered it asked for it that way" when in fact you guys do it this way all the time. I'm done with this place. read more

We've gotten three pizzas from here since we moved into Walpole in November. All have been delicious with fresh ingredients. We especially like the cook's attitude toward his work. Before he hands over the pizza, he often opens the box to display his craft, while raising his eyebrows as if to say, "Pretty good, eh?" Friendly and worth the money. read more

I don't know what happened to this place. They were always our go to place for pizza. They had great pizzas. Lately, though, the service is terrible. You can't get through to place an order. Twice within a few week's time we tried to order a pizza and we were put on hold. But they put the phone down on the counter so you could hear the conversation in the background. After 5 minutes on so-called hold, we hung up. Several weeks later we tried another time. Same thing. Put on hold and called back after 5 minutes. First it was a guy, then a girl. The girl didn't even identify the name of the place, just said "please hold" and again the phone was placed on the counter. I could hear chatter in the background and laughter. After 3 calls I gave up. So, do they have good food? Who knows now. You can't even get past the "hello". And we didn't call during their busy time. Go figure! read more

I just had a pizza delivered from Pizzeria Grande which I have been a customer for over 15 years. The total was $16.00 and the owner's wife delivered the pizza. I handed her a $20.00 and told her I wanted $2.00 change and she told me she was blocking my neighbors driveway and was more interested in speaking to them than dealing with her loyal customer and just got in her car and took off. Pretty presumptuous to think she deserves a $4.00 tip for doing nothing but being rude. read more

The pizza here is good. I was actually pleased to find another place close by where we liked the pizza, but the service and management is SO atrocious we will never go back. A delivery "gone wrong" that took 2 hours to reach us (for 3 pizzas!) and when I called, they were not only willing to do nothing, but hung up on me. I've already shared the word here locally, but needed to write a Yelp review as well. It truly blows my mind that in 2014 business owners don't know how to keep customers. You didn't want to give up $30 in pizza for a 2 HOUR delivery and now you won't see any money from us (or our friends) ever again. read more

My husband and I used to be huge pizzeria grande fans until this weekend. At 610pm I placed an online food order. I received an email saying it would be delivered around 7pm. At 715 I called to find out status of my food and after being put on hold for 5 minutes, yes I was irritated at this point, I was told they were very busy and it would be here soon. I said if it's not here in the next 5 minutes they can cancel my order. The food arrived and the driver apologized and I tipped him and was just glad my food was here after working a 12 hour shift. I open the steak and cheese sub and the bread was all soggy. The sub was inedible. I called back to talk to a manager; once I said I wanted a refund the manager hung up on me before I even got to finish my sentence. I got in my car and drove to the store. I put the sub on the counter and asked if it looked edible. The cook, who I assume is the manager because he was the one "handling the situation", said to calm down and asked the front desk kid to show him the sub. He said he'd make me another one. I said after waiting an hour and a half and being hung up on I didn't want another sub I wanted my money back. He started telling me it's been a busy night not in a friendly voice. I said I didn't care I just want my money back. He mumbled something about this is why he doesn't have women in his kitchen. They said since I didn't have my slip they couldn't refund me and I said I'm not going home to get it they can look me up since I just paid by credit card. The manager said I told you we're busy tonight. He said I'd see the refund tomorrow. I said to the guy we were very loyal customers and always recommended their food and asked if it would have been too much trouble to ever think about apologizing and trying to make the situation right instead of continuing to say how busy they were and telling me to call down. After this situation I can say I will never order from them again. They aren't worth out business, no matter how good the food is. read more

I used to love ordering from this place until today. I ordered a pizza with my usual phone number, and had it sent to my address. After waiting an hour and having no pizza I called, and complained. The guy was rude and hostile towards me saying they tried to deliver it numerous times. And called me numerous times. I have no such phone calls, he also said that this was a first time delivery...I told him no it wasn't and proceeded to angerly argue with me!!!!!!!! He argued YES IT WAS and that he was looking AT MY ACCOUNT ON THE SCREEN right then and there. I have ordered numerous times, from here with that same phone number! UGH. So my guess is the order taker must have screwed it up, and this A** hole blamed a customer for the issue. Seriously! UGH, I can't believe anyone would treat a customer the way he treated me. So I forwarded a copy of an email order I placed with my phone number and address on it. And I sent him a copy of my bank statement of all the times I ordered. This place is over price but I loved the food, and now the customer service...I'll never order form here again. read more
