Not to brag or anything but I'm pretty much a pizza connoisseur and this place lands in top 5 pizza places I have ever had the privilege of drooling over. If you like your pizza like I do, thin, lite sweet sauce, lots of cheese and toppings, this is your place. We ordered take out, but I almost wish we would have dined in after seeing the place. It's a great setting with great ambiance, servers were joking with patrons, everyone's glass was full, it just seemed like the place to be. If you have a week stomach when it comes to yummy grease, you might want to go with a lighter option because they spare none on the pizza. But then again, isn't that what pizza is all about? This was our first time here and more than likely our last. We visit Vero Beach several times a year. (6-8 times a year)Always looking for a new place to try. So this trip we decided to try Pizzoodles. First, the wait time for a take out was long. 30-35 minutes. Didn't mind that so much even though it's longer than usual. Second, walked in to get our food and the were missing the garlic knots. Ordered 12 they had 6 ready with my order. They quickly heated more up. Third, the pizza it's self looked good but when we got home it was totally inedible. Very limp, very greasy, and flavorless. The owners are ones who own Guytano's in Sebastian and Fellsmere. We have been there for years. I'm so glad there's one of their restaurants in Vero Beach now! The garlic knots were a great way to start. Lots of fresh chopped garlic. Yum! My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sub and I ordered the Meatball Sub. Both came with the pasta salad. Big servings! Delicious homemade sauce with plenty of cheese... and more garlic! The place is small but lots of tables / booths. The only drawback is the parking which is tight. We went early to lunch to beat the crowd. The lunch prices are great. We were out under $25 for the two of us and their lunch prices go until 4 p.m.! We will definitely go there again! read more

this used to be our "go to" pizza place and I gave it a great review years ago but something sad has happened. The last three times we ordered pizza it was awful. The crust was thin and undercooked and the toppings just slid off like and unwelcome guest. We asked them to bake it well done but this did not help. We cooked it for several minutes in the oven and still awful. I hate to eat pizza with a knife and fork especially when it tastes lousy. Three strikes out Piz. read more

It was my night to treat 6 of us who had never tried this take out pizza. I stopped by early and preordered and prepaid $40 + for 2 large to pick up at 6:15 . We arrived on time and brought home our 2 cold pizzas which were met with diluted enthusiasm . Wow, so delicious! Randomly wanted a slice of pizza and came across this gem, thanks Yelpers! We all got some slices, bacon and jalapeño as well as the chicken pesto meatball specialty slices...just amazing! Started with the garlic knots and ended with the chocolate cake. Wish I weren't so hungry to remember to take pics when the food came out rather than after, #sorrynotsorry. Do yourself a treat and give them a shot. We love Pizzoodles. It's our favorite sit down restaurant in Vero. We have come every year for vacation of the past 5 years. I usually get the agnolotti - ground veal, ricotta, spinach in an Asiago cream and tomato sauce. Awesome pasta dish. We usually get pizza as all. One size. Several creative options or make your own. But do not leave without getting the garlic knots. Best ever. And keep the oil when done to continue dipping your pizza! Calzones can feed 2-3 people. For $9. Really. Finally found a local go-to pizza joint! The pizza (half Old World with cheese and half regular cheese pizza) was outstanding! Perfectly cooked, perfect amount of toppings, and the sauce... I just don't understand why they are in the location they are in... because people are packed like a sardines if you want to dine in and there is no convenient way to pick up a to-go order. I had a mini panic attack when I walked in to ask for a table. Thank God the table outside opened up and it was 'too cold' for the Floridans to eat outside. My northern tiger blood is strong, because I sat outside and ate a goat cheese and chicken pizza that was AMAZING. Excellent! Took a little break for a couple of days. After having dinner in "nicer" places decided on pizza the last night of trip. Calamari was outstanding, although fried it was crisp and fresh with lots of flavor. Greek pizza nice change from the ordinary....and delicious! This place is a hidden gem. My big Italian family was looking for authentic Italian in Vero, and this definitely fit the bill. The pizza was phenomenal with a crust that was cooked perfectly and with the right amount of sauce. We also tried some pasta dishes. The Tuscan Pasta was great, and the meatballs were homemade and amazing. Our server Danni was also very nice and accommodating of our large party. We went to Pizzoodles on our last trip to Vero - we had tried this place about 5 years ago and we remember it being good at the time and were happy to say it was good again. Our table had a couple of Pizzas - very much like NY pizza - both were tasty. The Side salads were very good. We were not rushed out of the place which was nice as we were visiting with friends we hadn't seen in a while. Hubby and I went here for the first time last week for our anniversary. Our waitress was a little awkward, not really welcoming us, just asked us what we wanted to drink, and we ordered the garlic knots. The reviews were dead on about the garlic knots! Best I've ever had! When she came back to take our order, when my husband asked if the meal came with salad or bread, she told him, "this isn't Olive Garden" Hubby ordered a salad with sun dried tomato dressing. Went there once last year right after moving to Vero. Ordered a antipasto, got a chef salad. The person that came to the counter was rude very, unprofessional. Looked at me and acted like I was interfering with his evening. I looked at the order in the car to make sure the dressing was in the bag, and also checked the order, like I do with all takeout. When I told this person when I went back in, that a mistake was made, he said that it wasn't a mistake, that's their antipasto, turned around and walk away, and ignored me when I requested a refund. A tomato slice, a sprinkle of cheese, and a few onion slivers is not an antipasto anywhere I have ever been. We had a long day of travel from West Virginia to Florida and didn't feel like cooking or sitting down in a restaurant with our 2 young children. I looked up pizza places and came across Pizzoodles. My husband and I eat at Pizzoodles often. We've had a lot of different pizzas around Vero Beach and we think Pizzoodles is the best. Also, they have chocolate cake to die for. If you like calarmari, you should try the appetizer calamari at Pizzoodles. They don't deep fry it - they saute in olive oil. It's light, crunchy and relatively healthy. :-) The greek salad is very worthy. All fresh lettuce (and no iceberg lettuce - just the healthy dark greens), tomatoes, kalamata olives, white onions, feta cheese and banana peppers (and maybe one or two things I forgot). The prices are right and Pizzoodles is very popular. Go early to make sure you don't have to wait. read more
