    Lunch time

I came for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. I drove quite a while to get here. When I got here at 12 they weren't open , I waited another 15 min and still nothing. I got a bit annoyed and left to the gas station and to a store . I decided to go to another Puertorican spot ( which there's plenty in the area) before I tried to check on them again. Arrived at 12:45 ish and they were open. I asked and they said they opened later because of the rain. Is a small restaurant with a bright color and good music. I order a alcapurria, a conch empanadilla, a octopus cup and a mofongo with fried pork. To drink we took a piña colada (virgin). I must say the food was the saving grace of my rating. This was absolutely one of the BEST Puertorican food I've had in the area. The alcapurria was big and full of meat. The conch empanadilla was fresh and flavorful . The octopus salad was the best I've had in YEARS! Big chunks of octopus, super tender and barely no onions and peppers. The mofongo was soft and not dry, did not need any caldo or sauce. The fried pork had a nice mix of fatty parts , not dry onda super seasoned. I absolutely loved the flavor of everything and I would highly recommended

Wife and I were looking to have lunch on our way home and stumble with this food truck. I have to say that we were lucky to find this spot. The food was amazing, I felt like i was eating Seafood back in Puerto Rico. Octopus Salad and Mix Seafood Salad with plantains were on point. My only critic is that portions were small but pack with tons of flavor. I heard that their Mofongo is amazing, I will return to try it next time. If you find yourself near Colonial and 417 make a stop and try this amazing Food Truck.

Just picked up some food here and OMFG!! Delicious!!! I had Mofongo al ajillo which was amazing..it was flavorful and moist (the best I've had in a looonnggg time), and the shrimp where cooked perfectly. I also ordered the carrucho and it was so so so good. The flavor was on point and honestly I could have eaten a bucket full of it. If you haven't been here you really need to, you will not be disappointed!

This place is delicious and has excellent prices. I had the mofongo and red snapper. The mofongo was moist ... not dry not soggy not salty or under salted and had pieces of crunchy chicharrón which not all places use inside their mofongo and the red snapper was flavorful and crispy. My husband also enjoyed his mofongo and fried pork which was just the right amount of crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My daughter enjoyed sharing the red snapper with me and a side of tostones with a piña colada. Passion fruit and lemonade juice was also delicious. Only down fault we had to eat in our car because they have no seating outside but well worth it

The whole dish was delicious. That chimichurri sauce was out of this world. It just completed the dish to perfection. My waitress, Samarie, was polite and very attentive. She took my order promptly. My food was out in no time. The restaurant is located in a small plaza. Parking might be limited around dinner time. I was there a little earlier so I had no problem parking.

Once we found out they had a restaurant, we knew we had to check it out. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside with great vibes and a nice atmosphere. Our first visit was mostly good, but I would not recommend the tripleta. All you taste is the burnt tortilla, and it wasn't like a typical tripleta sandwich. The second time we went was for a graduation celebration, and sadly most of the food was a miss. The grilled chicken and sauces were especially disappointing--expensive, bland, and not something I'd order again. The drinks were also disappointing and tasted more like sugary syrup than actual cocktails or fresh drinks. We chalked it up to maybe being an off day. That being said, we also ordered catering for the graduation before the unfortunate dinner, and the catering was amazing. We ordered pernil, leg porchetta, arroz con gandules, and roasted whole chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well done with no complaints at all. I just wish the dine-in experience matched the catering and food truck experience better. Overall, I would still recommend Crocante because when they're good, they're really good. The service was okay, nothing special, but not bad either. The space is beautiful, the vibes are great, and some items are definitely worth trying.

The yuca was hard, though I asked for the softest pieces from the bottom, if you know about Yuca you know what I mean. I had gone wanting the roast chicken but right when it got to my turn to place my order, they had run out. So I got the pork. I specifically asked the employee for pieces with less fat, and she responded in a way that seemed annoyed. Unfortunately, the pork I received was nearly half fat, even though I requested less fat and more meat. The worst was the piece of pork skin, it was soggy, any Puerto Rican or Cuban will tell you this is No Bueno The rice was probably the best part of the meal, even though it was not served very hot. Overall, for the price I paid, I expected better food quality, customer service, and consistency. I may give it another opportunity if I'm in the area again and it's earlier in the day though I went on a weekday right after work, 5 ish to be exact but it should be consistent.

When you walk up to the truck you are greeted by the friendly workers who advise you to place your order on the screen and if you need assistance they are more than happy to help. Once your order is placed they will send you a text message when it's ready. They do have a little canopy area with tables and seating, but it's so hot to be outside I opted to wait and eat in my car. We waited about 30 minutes before receiving our food and once we received it you could tell everything was freshly made. We ordered a combo that came with 2 pinchos, 2 pieces of bread, 2 orders of loaded fries,2 mofongo balls. And 2 drinks. The pincho meat is big meaty chunks and well seasoned. These were some of the biggest pinchos I've found in Orlando and the price was really reasonable. The loaded fries were ok, just typical fries with bacon and cheese. These mofongo balls had good seasoning, they weren't dry at all, and the perfect portion. The garlic bread was good as well and was soft. Overall everything was great! The seasoning on all the food was perfect, the portions were more than enough, and the prices extremely reasonable. The only negative I have to say is that it took long for us to receive the food but everything was freshly made and I appreciate all the hard work they do during the extremely hot fl summer.

A disaster. Not Recommended for Large Groups…read more We made a reservation for 15 people and called ahead. They asked for a $10 per person deposit ($150 total), which we paid without complaint. My wife even got the name of the person who took the reservation--Josymar--who was actually really nice on the phone. Too bad that was the last nice thing about this experience. When we showed up, the greeter acted like they had no idea about any reservation. No tables were ready, and the whole vibe was "ugh, a big group." You could just feel the annoyance rolling off them. Our server, Stephanie, was an absolute mess. She was scattered, had this bar-attitude energy, and seemed completely uninformed. Here's just one example: we ordered appetizers that took forever to come out. When they finally arrived, one was missing. By the time the main dishes started showing up, we told her to cancel the empanadas. Her response? "Sorry, I can't cancel them now--the kitchen might already be working on them." Really? We had to push back and told her we were not going to eat it. We also ordered the Mofongo with Churrasco and specifically asked for the garlic sauce on the side (which, by the way, doesn't even taste like garlic). She flat-out refused and said the sauce had to come on top. No flexibility whatsoever. Pretty much everything came out cold--appetizers, sushi, you name it. We constantly had to chase her down for drink refills. Eventually we'd had enough and asked for the manager. Amanda came over and was polite, but she basically defended all the screw-ups. The only person who actually helped us was José, a server in training who wasn't even assigned to our table. He went out of his way to bring food and drinks while everyone else seemed checked out. The appetizers were a total rip-off too. They push an "upgrade" to add pork chunks, but it's really just fatty, chewy bits that were cold and unappetizing. Oh, and they only allow 3 checks for the whole group, with just one server for 15 people. Of course they add the automatic 20% gratuity for big parties--so why bother trying when the money's already guaranteed? This was hands-down the worst service we've had in years. Complete disaster. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else if you've got more than a few people.
